Daydreamer.
It's sort of a neutral word, isn't it? Maybe with a slight negative connotation to it, but generally still harmless, right?
Like most people, she daydreamt quite a bit. But unlike most people, she isn't merely a dreamer. No, on top of that, she is also an escapist, a person that runs away from reality when faced with problems. And when reality is unable to satisfy her, she creates her own reality. No kidding, one time she came up with an entire person's existence, telling everyone around her that this person was her admirer, her best friend, and her soulmate.
But she wasn't just a delusional liar.
She was dangerous, and the ironic thing is that, she's dangerous because she's unaware of this exact trait. She has powers no one knows of, herself included. Powers so great that they could potentially destroy the world. Jahee's dreams could become reality, in the realest sense of the word. If she believed in what she dreamt, she could make them become reality.
She wasn't a vulnerable little damsel in distress that needed protecting, nor was she some radically feministic female warrior. She was average. She had trust issues, and she thought she was delusional. Unable to place her trust wholly in anyone, can she save the world from the monsters she brought to life?
Foreword
Hey there! So basically, this story was borne one night when I had a terrifying nightmare and it stuck with me and made me lose sleep and my brain was drifting and tada. HAHA okay sorry not very interesting.
Anyway, this story is going to be very very VERY different from those that I've been trying my hand at;aka slice of life. This fic is potentially a mashup of fantasy, supernatural, romcom, and I'll also be trying my hand at writing psychological stuff. (which may or may not show itself at the start idk) The title, as of now, is temporary, at least until I think up of something better (or if you guys would like to recommend one...).
Also, because it's really really different from what I am used to, and also because I really want to think this through and make it a good fic, I won't promise any chapter uploads until I've gotten at least five chapters worked out, and even then updates may not will not be consistent, and updates will really depend on how this fic is received. So, please don't be a silent reader, because comments really DO help me to churn out chapters, no kidding.
Okay well because I'm not expecting to upload any chapters soon (by soon I mean this week), I'll leave you guys with sneak previews of what this fic will bring.
