Dream High 2 - Rian's Take
"Yah focus would you?" Rian hit him in the head
"YAH!" Shiwoo hollered back at her
Rian flinched from his sudden shout
"The competition is in a few days and we still haven't had anything!" She complained
"Can't you see me writing?" He snatched her paper to see what she's been doing
"My love for you will never die, but all you do is make me cry?" He bursted out laughing till his eyes became watery
"What? Don't laugh. It's not like yours is any good," Rian grabbed his paper with anger
She read his lyrics which made her silent for a while
"I like this..." It somehow connected to her
"I know you're out there, we're meant to be. So keep your head up..." She read
"And make it to me," Shiwoo finished her sentence
Their eyes set on each other reading each other's thoughts
They stared realizing that the past few weeks with each other should've been ordinary
But it wasn't.
Singing together, dancing together, eating together, and studying each other's personalities helped them build a strong relationship
Shiwoo leaned in closer to Rian as she closed her eyes as if she knew what was going to happen next
Then, he planted a small kiss on her lips
A few days later, the competition has started
In the waiting room, Rian and Shiwoo were going over their song
"Don't worry too much," he put his arm around her
She looked up into his brown, bright eyes and put a smile up for him
"Rian, Shiwoo, you guys are up next," their teacher pushed them out
Standing in the middle of the stage, the spotlight shown into their eyes
Rian was shaking
Shiwoo noticed and intertwined his hand with hers
They began to sing constantly looking at each other
Their performance ended and they took a bow to the cheering audience
"Now is the time to announce the winners of Super Idol!" The MC shouted
The audience screamed and jumped out of their seats
"JB and Haesung....." this sentence left the crowd silent
Everyone was on the edge of their seats wondering if JB and Haesung really won
Shiwoo once again held Rian's hand and looked into her eyes indicating that it was okay if JB was the winner of Super Idol
"JB and Haesung...."the MC repeated, ".......out"
The whole room was filled with murmurs and whispers
"How is that possible? Why??" Haesung declared
"Plagiarism... Really?" the MC returned JB's sass with extra extra sass
Rian looked to her right side to see Haesung in shock and JB with his head down
She gave a mischievous grin
"The winners with the most outstanding performance goes to...."
Rian squeezed Shiwoo's hand in excitement
"....Shiwoo and Rian!!! Congratulations you two!" the MC handed them their trophy
Rian was so exhilarated, she jumped and gave Shiwoo a hug
They truly are in love, but they don't see it
Backstage, everyone praised them for their skills
Shiwoo and Rian thanked everyone and stayed behind
Shiwoo pulled Rian towards an empty room
"What's wrong?" She asked
He held both of her hands and looked her into the eyes, "Rian, I think I like you."
There was silence for a moment as Rian couldn't comprehend what just happened
Just as she was about to speak, JB walked in
"I have something to say to her," he scowled at Shiwoo
"We're in the middle of something right now," Shiwoo snapped
JB took one of her hands from Shiwoo and said, "Rian, I made the most regretful decision in my life."
She looked at him in confusion
"Mianhae, I can't live without you, please forgive me and come back," he continued
Rian was in utter perplexity
To her left was the one who left her and their memories but decided to come back
To her right was the one who she grew to like and is willing to create new memories with her
