Dream High 2 - Rian's Take
JB then beamed Shiwoo a cold look and also walked out....
As Rian tried to get away, JB pulled her back
She stopped but did not move, she didn't turn around to see him
"Do you like him?" JB asked
Rian answered, "A person's heart changes easily."
Those five words left JB speechless
It wasn't Rian's heart that changed, it was JB's
He still has a spot in her heart and she's still not over him
On the other hand, JB forgot about her in a second once he met Haesung
It was silent for a while until JB broke it
"Happy Birthday" JB congratulated her
Rian was about to turn around when suddenly a voice spoke
"JB..."
She recognized that voice, that voice was Haesung's
Rian heard footsteps coming closer to them
Before Haesung could come up to Rian, she walked away
Rian went into her dorm and plopped herself on the bed
She looked at the picture frame on the night stand which was Hershe and Eden in their trainee days
-flashback-
JB surprised Rian with a cake on her birthday in the practice room
He danced, sang, and made her laugh
Those were one of the moments that Rian couldn't forget
"Listen up class" the vocal teacher caught their attention to the front
"Surprise! There's a competition," the whole class groaned
"You and the person sitting next to you will have to compose a song and present it on stage," their teacher instructed
Rian looked at Shiwoo who was next to her and then back at JB who was with Haesung
The teacher then dismissed them, "do your best!"
Shiwoo was about to leave when Rian pulled him back
"Meet me at the practice room at 6" she said
"I don't want to do this, you can do it yourself," he replied
Rian felt disgusted by his attitude and watched him leave
As Shiwoo was walking back to his dorm, JB stopped in front of him
"Move," Shiwoo looked at him in the eye
"That was a good choice of you to quit the competition. I would've beaten you anyways. It would be a shame to see you be humiliated in front of the whole school," JB snapped
"I suddenly feel like competing now," Shiwoo bumped into him and walked away
At 6pm, Rian headed out towards the practice room
On her way there, Shiwoo walked next to her
"I thought you didn't want to do this?" She asked
"I suddenly had the urge to win" he grinned
As the two walked into the room, they spotted JB and Haesung about to kiss
"Ahem, what are you doing here?" Rian faked a cough which made them stop
"If you're not gonna practice, why don't you two love birds leave" Shiwoo exclaimed
JB looked into Rian's teary eyes as she stormed out of the room
He followed her out and shouted
Don't worry, the next few chapters will have more myungyeon moments!
