Chapter 3
Wedding DressA remark generally hurts in proportion to its truth.
Jungkook looked at his phone, noticing a text from Suga.
" Jimin, I need to go. Suga needs to talk to me," Jungkook spoke as he stood up.
" Aw, alright. I'll see you later, Kookie," Jimin sighed while Jungkook left out and started walking home. Jungkook walked into the house, going to Suga's room.
" Suga, is there something wrong?" Jungkook asked, knocking on the door. Suga opened it and wrapped an arm around Jungkook's shoulders and pulled him close, gently rubbing his back.
" Hyung, what are-?"
" Shush, Jungkook. I'm here for you," Suga spoke, sniffling his nose.
It was painful to see him like this.
All Suga could do was embrace him and let the torrent of Jungkook's tears soak through his shirt. He could hear him silently screaming, suffocating with each breath he took holding onto his pride. Suga ran his fingers through his hair, time and time again, in an attempt to calm the silent war within his mind.
" Kookie, you need to tell Jimin. I mean, he's your best friend. He needs to know that you aren't fine," Suga suggested as Jungkook looked at him, tears at the corners of his eyes.
" That will crush him. I don't want to see Jimin depressed after he just got engaged, hyung. That would be selfish of me," Jungkook mumbled.
" I know that will crush him. But, at least, he'll know. Jimin would be so upset if you keep it a secret any longer. Even though you're afraid of telling him, he should hear it from you instead of someone else," Suga informed.
" I'll do it, hyung. I appreciate your advice. I'll go see if I can tell him in person," Jungkook responded as he wiped the droplets of tears from the corners of his eyes.
