Onews' POV

    Few months ago ,I used to live happily with my mother in New Orleans. My mother is the only family I have since my dad died when I was only a few months old.

  One sunny morning, my mother was cooking for our breakfast while I was just lying in her bed waiting when someone rang our door bell.

"Jinki ah~ can you look who's there." my mom shouted. I right away jump off her bed and run towards the door.

  When I opened the door I saw a man standing. His tall, muscular, handsome but from the look of his eyes his scary. "Yes? May I help you Mr.?"

   He just smiled at the way I ask by that he doesn't look scary anymore. "Hi there Onew ssi. Is your mom there?" I was shock that he knew my name and I thought my mother is not close with anyone.

"Jinki? Who's there?" I can hear my mom walking towards us.

  I look at the man, waiting for him to tell his name and he right away responded "Donghae"

"He said his Donghae" I told my mom when she was beside me already.

"DONGHAE! ! !" I my mother seems to know this guy and she seems shock. Why who is this guy?

"Hi Sunny." the man greeted with a smile.

"Onew, can you give us a time to talk." My mom ask in a soft voice.

"Ok mom but can I stay in your room?" I asked innocently.

  My mom dragged me away from the man and told me to lock the door. I followed her without asking any questions because I can know it is not the right time. While I was in the room I can hear dogs fighting outside but I tried to ignore it and just continue with what I'm was doing. After a few hours I got hungry. I went out of the room and to my surprise our house is now a mess. Glasses are broken, furniture’s are destroyed and my mom was sitting at the door, crying.

  I also cried while looking at my pitiful mom. She was covered with bruises and her clothes are ripped. She heard me crying and right away wiped her tears away. "Onew can you give me a pair of clothes?" I run to her room and get what she ask, I also added a first aid kit to clean her wounds.

"Hear mom." After wearing her clothes, I help her stand. When I was about to cure her wounds she stop me and told me a secret.

They want you to be their Alpha, Onew. Just like your grandfather. And I don’t want that to happen. So Onew, son let’s leave New Orleans. Let start a new life in Korea."
