Jessica couldn't sleep. She was tossing and turning on her bed. This is her first night in her new apartment but she couldn't sleep at all. She usually falls asleep easily but this time she can't because of the sound of a piano from the apartment next door.

Who played piano at this late hour? It's already 12 am

Doesn't she or he know someone's trying to sleep here?

Jessica likes to hear beautiful melodies from a piano and sometimes she plays it but not at this late hour where everyone supposed to sleep on their beds.

It was only a soft tune but then it's getting louder and louder. Jessica covered her ears with small pillow but it made her uncomfortable.

That's it.I can't endure it anymore,She huffed

She climbed off the bed. She's going to scold the person who disturbed her beauty sleep.

Jessica opened her apartment door then shecmade her way to her neighbor door. She let out a sigh before she rang the bell impatiently.

She rang three times but the person inside the door still not opened it yet. Is the person deaf or something? she thought to herself

Finally someone opened the door. It's a guy and the guy is....

Jessica froze on her spot when she looked at the guy's face

The guy is.....

Kim Jaejoong

The guy who used to be her best friend,her oppa, her shoulder to cry on

The guy whom she hasn't met for years

The guy who she really missed

Jessica was shocked and speechless.

She couldn't believe that her neighbor next door is the one and only Kim Jaejoong. Her Jeje oppa.

"S-sica?" Jaejoong was very surprised when he saw who was the person who knocked on his door at this late hour

She is Jessica Jung

His old best friend

His beloved dongsaeng whom he hasn't met for a long time

Jaejoong had the urge to hug her tightly and told her how much he missed her but he couldn't

It would be awkward if I do that,Jaejoong thought

Jessica was a bit happy when she heard Jaejoong called her by nickname. at least he still remember my nickname,She said inwardly.

She then step forward and bowed 90 degrees at him. "Hello,Jaejoong-ssi. Long time no see. She finally have a courage to greet him.

Jaejoong frowned. Why did she speak formally to me?

She used to call him Jaejoong oppa or Jeje oppa and now....

This was a very awkward moment for them.

They looked like strangers who meet for the first time.

"Why are you here,Sica? Is there anything I can do for you?" Jaejoong asked

He was curious of why did Jessica rang his apartment door 

"I-I live next to your apartment door and uhm...uhm..."Jessica didn't know what to say more when Jaejoong looked at her with an intense stare. She was nervous.

"Oh,.....does the piano sound disturb your sleep?" 

"Yeah,a little" Jessica said while playing her hair with her finger. A habit that she usually does when she is nervous.

Jaejoong felt guilty. He doesn't know that someone has moved into the apartment next door. He thought nobody lived there.

And by her appareance who was only wearing a nightgown. He assumed that Jessica lived around this neighborhood but he never thought she would live next to his door.

"I'm very sorry for disturbing your sleep,Jessica. I seldom stay at my apartment and I just returned from the military service last month. So I don't know that someone has moved into the apartment next to mine" Jaejoong explained

"That's okay,Jaejoong-ssi"

Jaejoong doesn't like when she call him like that

"When did you move here,by the way?" Jaejoong asked. He still couldn't believe that it was really Jessica who stood before him.

"I just moved in today" she replied

so that's why I didn't see her when I returned home last month,Jaejoong said inwardly

"Well,I think I should.....uhm...sleep now"Jessica said while rubbing her unitchy arm

Jaejoong could see that his beautiful dongsaeng was nervous toward him. Jaejoong could only smiled watching her act.

How I wish we could talk normally like in the past, he sighed.

"Good night,Jaejoong-ssi"Jessica said as she bowed at him

"Good night,Jessica" Jaejoong just stood still. He watched Jessica walked toward her apartment.

"Wait,Sica-ah" 

Jessica turned her body around and looked at him straight in the eyes. She finally had a courage to do that.

"Don't call me Jaejoong-ssi,Sica-ah. Just call me Jaejoong or Jeje oppa like you used to call me"Jaejoong said

Jessica almost wanted to cry when Jaejoong said Jeje oppa. It remind her of their happy moments in the past.

Where were you when I need you so bad,Jeje oppa?"

Jessica only nodded and then she hurriedly came inside her apartment. She didn't want to cry in from of Jaejoong.

"Hi,I'm Kim Jaejoong. I'm a new trainee here. What's your name?"

"I'm Jessica Jung. Omo,you're so pretty like a girl,oppa"Jessica pinched Jaejoong's cheek

"Hey,I'm manly not pretty"Jaejoong glared at her

"You even prettier than me"Jessica laughed

"From now on I'll call you Sica,okay?" Jaejoong slung his arm on Jessica's shoulder

"That's not bad. Then I'm going to give you a nickname too"

"Okay.what's the nickname?"

"Jeje oppa"Jessica said cutely

"What kind of nickname is that? It's like a cat's name.I don't like that nick name"

But I like it and  I'll call you Jeje oppa until the end of the world"Jessica ran while sticking out her tongue at Jaejoong

"Yahhh,Sica.I'll come and get you" Jaejoong said as he ran after her

"Congratulation,Jeje oppa. You'll debut soon"

"Thanks,Sica-ah

"Oppa,guess what?"

"What?"Jaejoong lazily replied. He was tired after practicing

"I'm going to be in a girl group and we'll have a debut next year"Jessica squaled

"Really?" That's great, Sica. I'm so proud of you" Jaejoong said as he hugged her 

Jaejoong smiled as he reminisced the moments he had with Jessica. How he missed hearing her calling him Jeje oppa.

Will we able to fix our friendship?Jaejoong said as he looked at the night sky from his balcony.

A night sky full of stars.

If there was a falling star,Jaejoong would wish his friendship with Jessica would back to normal again.
