Darcy POV

He put on my finger, I couldn't believe that I agreed to marry him. This was hugest best decision I ever made and I'm completely contented with it

He picks me up and twirls me around in happiness as well pure bliss of this moment. He kisses me and continue. 

" I love you Darcy ." He said 

" I love you too Do-Hyun ." I said as I kissed him

- End Of Flashback -

I'm break down right and I need to get out of sight. 

" Dinner !." I said as I took the pot of chicken spaghetti on the table 

Then I quickly went back for the bowls and chopsticks came back to the table place them down. I ran to the bedroom, I slammed the door 

- The Present - 

Joonshu POV 

BANG ! The bedroom door slammed shut that can only mean one thing Darcy thought about Do-hyun.

Darcy's favorite group EXO stares in curiosity of what's going on with her. Only me and her brothers know about her past. 

" Jihoo, Woonjin ." I called them 

" Ne, Appa ." They both said as they made their way to me 

" I need you two check on Darcy because she won't let me ." I said 

" Appa, did she think of him ?." Woonjin asked

" Ne, she did ." I said as I cleared my throat 

" Crap !." Jihoo said

" Jihoo, cursing won't help the situation. Just please check on your sister for me please ." I begged them

They nod softly as they made their way to the bedroom to comfort their sister, who I know that crying her eyes out. 

Now, I can feel EXO's stares on me. I got up from my sit and made a bowl for my kids if I remembered anything from Darcy about them having big hunger. 

Then I need to save some food for my kids. But softly, I can hear my boys singing Beautiful by Amber no wonder why Darcy likes that song. 

Because those goofballs sons of mine sing it to her when she's in that state. How I wish that I can comfort but she put up a front when she see. 

And I know why she does because she doesn't want to me worry about her. She doesn't want me to end up the way I did a year ago. 

When Emily died of heart cancer, I mean Emily had heart transplant but the cancer was too severe that it eventually spread to the new one.   

" Sir ." Suho said 

" Ne ." I said 

" What's wrong with Darcy ?." Baekhyun ask 

I arched an eyebrow at them and the things I do for my daughter.

" It's not my place to tell you but only Darcy can tell you what happened eight months ago in Seoul ." I said as I gave them a hint 

You know just in case something happens when I'm working or living separately from her. They may be idols but they're also humans too.

With emotions and I need my daughter to look after too more than these guys do because she has been through a lot more than these guys.

From her mother dying a year ago then the man she was going to marrying had died on a mission with her in order to save her. 

In just only eight months ago that he died and she's broken as well in pain over him cause they've been through everything. 

Him and her were basically made for each other yet God had other plans for him. So, he send him away from Darcy although I wished he hadn't. 

Because my heart can't handle seeing my daughter in so much pain and suffering. She shouldn't even face that experience ever in her lifetime. 

I heard the bedroom door opened as I soon see Jihoo. Coming to report me. 

" How is she ?." I asked 

" She cried his name while trying to hurt herself, we had to fight her to bring her to herself ." He said 

Damn it.

" Appa, do you think she get over him ?." He asked me

" To be honest, Jihoo I don't know because he was her everything that's rare to find in this world. Also what killed her too was that he was the first in everything that they did together another thing that was rare too. I wasn't suppose to tell this but before he died, they were going to get married after they got back from their mission ." I told Jihoo

" She was going to marry him ." He said 

" Yes, she still has the ring and necklace even the tattoo on her wrist ." I said 

" Bambi ring was engagement ring   right ?." He asked 

" Yes, your sister loves Bambi ." I said 

" Fox and the Hound necklace is their couple necklaces correct ?." He asked me 

" Yup ." I said

" Barcode tattoo with his name under numbers when they met, is part of their couples tattoos ?." He asked

I only nod 

" Just make sure nothing pops that gonna remind her of him, she still fresh from his death ." I said 

" Ne, Appa ." He said as he went to the room 

I can't lose my daughter, she's the one that keeps going because she reminds me of Emily even though I have my two sons but Darcy is special. 

Darcy has this way of cheering everybody up, she has this passion for saving everyone but if they knew what's behind that smile. 

Or the internal battles that she had fought for the last eight months. Even reopening of painful wound that happens every single night because she has nightmares of that night. 

But on the surface, they only see a smiling that believes everything fine. But on the inside is something there's a little girl that beaten and broken from the endless battles. 

And who is there to save her from the battles that she took on, to punish herself for what happened in the past. Three people isn't enough, we more help. 

Or else we will lose that battle to save her.
