Yay ! Yes, finally it's here EXO is here in Chicago even though technically I arrived yesterday too along with EXO too.
I don't care that I have jet leg right right now because I have an adrenaline rush course through my veins.
I'm wearing light grey beanie also black light grey varsity jacket with black stretch jeans. My special glasses that I wear from time to time.
Along white shirt that say wolf 88 on there with beige vans too and black bracelet. Then I put on my ring that someone had given me a long time ago.
Yet something was telling me that something was going to happen today and usually my gut is never wrong. I just I have to be on watch today.
Damn ! I was really hoping that I enjoy watching my favorite band since I was back in Chicago for short time being.
But being a super genius is a lot hard work when the government relays on you even the president too.
I jumped in my rental car and started driving to Rosemont theater. I just hope some police workers remember me from when I worked here.
Believe or not, Chicago police department work very closely with the FBI department as well here in Chicago. For five years, I had worked with both until military and CIA.
Told me that they need me to work for them. They also they said that I could let my nation go into the ground if I didn't help them
Just another way of saying I have no choice but work for us or we kidnapped your family and labelled as traitors.
- 36 minutes later -
I arrived at Rosemont Theater and parked the rental car from a dealership. I'm only five minutes I'm already I'm coming into contact with old workers.
" Agent De Luca ." Officer Peters saluted me
" As you were, officer ." I said as I smiled
" What are you doing here ? Though I don't mind see ya ." He said
" I had bought a ticket for the EXO concert ." I said
" Oh, I'm guessing you were on mission huh ." He said
" I see that my training has gone to waste ." I said
" And they said that you can't teach an old dog new tricks ." He said
Officer Peters is in his late 50s
" Well we proved them wrong Huh ." I said
" Yes ma'am ." He said
I giggled
" So, who's here on duty beside you ?." I asked
" Officer Rodgers, Officer Garcia, Officer Ramirez, Officer Parks, Officer Michaels and finally Officer Devito ." He said
" And ." I urged
" Then you have Rosemont security people too but hey can you do me a favor ?." He asked off the bat
I arched an eyebrow
" Sure, what's up ?." He said
" Can you leave ten minutes earlier from the concert to make that everything is secure for those boys ." He said
" Why ?." I asked
" Because some of these guards look suspicious to me a bit too suspicious ." He said very low
See ! I told you I'm not the only one.
" Why don't you alert the rest of the guys ?." I asked
" Because for all I know they can be in on it due to the drop in their salary and what better way to get more money then is to kidnap famous international idols ." He explained
" You have a point ." I said
" Yes, I do which me brings me to my second question ." He said
" Shoot ." I said
" Do you have CIA badge on you ?." He asked
" Yes, I carry it everywhere just in case something jumps off ." I said
" Good, use that to get into the building earlier than the fans that we already have lined up waiting ." He said as he gave me his extra walkie-talkie
I nod as I took it then I left him at his post. I walked up to front of the building, I grabbed the handle and opened the door where I was greeted by my officers already.
" I'm sorry you have to leave ." She said
Officer Garcia
" Now I'm disappointed that you didn't who I was, soldier ." I said
Her eyes widen in shocked at her mistakes that she had made.
" Marshal De Luca ." She saluted to me
" At ease cadet ." I said
" What are you doing here ?." She asked
" I'm here for my favorite band obviously ." I said
" You're doing a perimeter check ." She said
I nod
" May I ask why ?." She said
I gave her look because she should remember my rules.
" You can never be too careful ." She said
" Good job cadet ." I said as I left her
I continue doing my perimeter check until hear the guys doing a sound check. But quickly went to back to work yet something was telling not to let my guard down tonight and I promise to myself that I won't fail at my job of protecting the people.
