"Hey you."

The woman gets no reply.

"God, you got yourself wasted again?"

"..."

"Yah, Soonkyu-ah.." she shakes the lump figure on the floor.

"Mm...." the latter struggles to wake up and squints her eyes at the lady.

"Taeyeon..?"

"Hell yes you said it right. Urgh, you're reek of alcohol." Taeyeon scrunches her nose while giving a helping hand to Soonkyu, the woman who famously goes by the name 'Sunny' in the public and entertainment industry.

"I thought you said you are going to stop drinking." She frowns.

"I tried." Sunny murmurs weakly. "But I just can't...can't forget...her."

"Soonkyu-ah, I know it's been tough for you to deal with all this heartbreak. But, it's been almost a year. You have to move on. She's out there living happily with some dude while you drag yourself lower than the hell? No way! I don't want to see my best friend hurt herself and all because she left you. It hurts me to see you like this. So please, don't do this again."

"..I will try."

"Promise?"

"Promise." They engulf into a hug. "I will do it for you." Sunny adds.

"Thank you for being there for me, Taeyeon."

"Always been."

Love has never been perfect or beautiful like what we always see in cartoons or TV. It is dark and gritty.

I didn't know about that at first. It is all lies.

I gave her all my love.

Because I trusted her. I loved her. She was my everything. I gave her everything, including my heart. I was careless.

In the end, she turns her back at me. "Fell out of love" she said.

Then my world went dark. I become like this because of  her; because of love.

It ends up hurting me. I keep falling down and down.

How could she do this to me? Why would she do this to me? Why is this happening to me?  What have I done to deserve this?

Then in the pit of darkness I found the answer. I made myself vulnerable. I was naive.

I learn the lesson a hard way.

I was hurt once, but I will never going to be hurt again.
