Year 2

7000 Days

After I first saw you, I was certain you were the one. You played with the rocks, then stomped on the and hopped on all the stones across the pond. I only watched. My mother saw that I was into you and she let me hang out with you more and more as she had long conversations with your dad. I know you probably thought I was weird, well.. you were weird too, but I was not afraid of you. I'm pretty sure that was a sign of respect because we played on the swings together. What I was hoping, one of my mother's Lifetime movie scenes would happen, that we would find ourselves on the swing, I pushed you high so you can see the sky and I can make you laugh and then I would bring you down and we shared our first kiss. What ended up happening was us laying on the belt of the swinging, you pretending to be Superman and me the villain moving the swing to the side to knock me off. After a gabillion times, you knocked me down and I went faceplanted into a gate. But your giggle, how I loved your giggle. It made me happy, so I didn't care about the trail of blood that left my nose as my mother took me to the hospital. (BTW; She likes your dad.)
