Your Biggest Fan, Your Hope, Hoseok.
Your Biggest Fan, Your Hope, Hoseok
Chapter 1
Life as an idol in one of the most famous groups in Korea wasn't as great as you thought it was going to be. You loved the singing, the dancing, the feeling of being on stage, and you loved your group. What you didn't love, was all the negativity following your debut.

The only thing that kept you going daily, was your boys. Bangtan was your life now. Your career, your happiness, your friends. They did their best to shield you from the negative things, but that could only be stopped so far.

J-Hope.

Jung Hoseok.

Hobi.

Hobi was what you would consider your best friend. You didn't run to anyone else first when you had good news, or bad news, or just wanted to share something funny. Hobi taught you dance moves every day, he taught you how to rap, he played with you, cooked with you, worked out with you, you name it! Hobi was there. You always appreciated him and his charm and his ability to lift even your most sour of moods.

You and Hobi had a tradition. Every time you went to the gym together, on the car ride home, you both would broadcast your driving antics on the V app for everyone to see. The fans mostly cooed over Hobi's adorable faces or attractive messy post-workout hair, and you made sure to flip the switch that made you most liked. Fake. Completely fake. You didn't call Hobi "J-Hope ssi" in real life. You didn't speak formally to him. And normally, you would be singing loudly to whatever came on in the car. But you didn't. You were too afraid of being accused of 'making fun of other groups.'

But you would do whatever it took to keep the savage fans at bay.

Hoseok his phone, and arranged his hair in the front camera before switching on the V broadcast app. "Hello everyone! This is your hope, J-Hope. Are you glad to see me again?"

You smiled to yourself listening to Hoseok speak to the fans as you started up your rickety little car you managed to buy when you first moved to Korea.

Hoseok smiled in to the camera for a few moments. "(Y/N) and I haven't done a car broadcast in a while. We're sorry. We have been very busy! Say hi to the fans!"

He turned the phone towards you and you put on a cheerful smile and waved with one hand before pulling out of the parking lot. "Hi! J-Hope ssi and I are back!"

Hoseok was singing something loudly making you laugh when your car began to bump and make noises a car shouldn't make. You groaned out loud as you continued on the drive, hoping it would even out soon. "This is happening way too often. I don't know what to do anymore!" You let out an exhasperated sigh.

"Maybe ARMY will buy you a car for your birthday!" Hoseok giggled.

You paled. That was not going to go over well with the V app viewers.

You were right. You could see the messages flood in out of the corner of your eye, and a scowl pop up between Hoseok's brows. He tapped the screen making the messages go away. "That's not very nice you guys." He pouted trying his best to shift the negative attention away.

It was all too much for you at the moment. You began to imagine the nasty things being said and tears began to spill down your cheeks. This didn't go unnoticed by Hoseok. Your mood changes never did. You felt a hand be placed caringly on your knee out of frame of the video.

"Dear ARMY, I do not wish for anything from you. If I want something I will earn it." Your words came out a big shakey, so you took a big breath to steady yourself. "I cannot buy myself a new car right now, which I know is probably what you are thinking. I'm sending as much money as I can back to parents. They deserve the best life possible and I want to give it to them. They took care of me, now it's my turn to take care of them." You could see Hoseok nodding in the seat beside you. "So please do not take what J-Hope ssi said seriously."

There was a click of a tongue, and Hoseok pulled the camera back to his face. "Everyone, please do not be angry right now with what I have to say. Please do not be upset with (Y/N) anymore. She does not call me J-Hope ssi in real life. She calls me 'Hobi.' We are the same age so we speak freely. So she will address me as Hobi from now on, okay? After all, we all are family." He gave a wide toothy grin and gave a thumbs up. "But for now," He looked over at you, still crying in the drivers seat. "I think it's time we end this broadcast a little early. I hope you all understand. Goodnight everyone. I love you!"

"Goodnight." You chorused.

Hoseok set his phone down and sighed, reaching over and ruffling your hair. "I'm sorry."

You shook your head. "You have nothing to be sorry for, Hobi. Thank you for standing up for me though."

He moved his hand from your hair and placed it back on your knee like earlier. "I know it must be hard for you. And as Bangtan, we have to be careful what we say. But as your friend, I wish I could just tell everyone who has something rude to say to 'buzz off!' ARMY is our family. I'm sure they'll love you just as much soon too."

"I truly hope so."

The rest of the drive home was relatively quiet save for Hoseok's light singing to the radio. You dropped your gym bag on your bedroom floor and kicked off your Hello Kitty slippers before flopping face first in to your neatly made bed. Who had made your bed? You didn't remember making it that morning. You shook off the question and groaned, rolling over and wrapping your arms around a giant stuffed Totoro plushie. You closed your eyes and snuggled your face into its soft fur.

There was a soft knocking at your door, careful not to wake a sleeping Jimin or Taehyung in your room. You lifted your head to see Hoseok walk in with freshly washed hair. He ran a towel trough his drying locks. Tanktop tight on his body, and sweatpants low on his hips.

Hot. Was the only word circulating in your brain at that moment. You wanted to advert your gaze, you really did, but he started doing that stupid adorable lip pursing thing as he ruffled the last of the dripping wet from his hair. Damn that Jung Hoseok.

"Shower is free now. I used your body wash. That sweet berries and champagne one. That's my favorite. I hope you don't mind."

You made a mental note of that being his favorite. "No that's fine." You went back to your snuggle position on the bed.

A good natured scoff left Hoseok's lips. Those pretty...pink...lips. "You don't want a shower tonight?"

You shook your head. Hair rumpling against the pillows.

"Gross. Stinky girl." Hoseok teased. You sat up and tossed your Totoro directly at his head. Not much to your surprise, he caught it instead of it hitting him. "Ha! Now I have your Totoro. I know you can't sleep without him, so he'll be in my bedroom until you take a shower. THEN you can have him back!" Hoseok held the Totoro in his hands and wiggled its body, taunting you with it.

"Hobi I swear to god!" You got up and chased after him, his long legs proving more useful then yours as he reached and locked the door to his and Namjoon and Jungkook's shared room. You went to yell and bang on the door but remembered how grumpy little Kookie was last time you woke him.

With a huff, you trudged in to the bathroom, peeled off your sweaty clothes and let the warm water wash over your body. It did feel good to your tired limbs. You squeezed some of that berry champage body wash in to your hands and lathered it all over. You imagined that was what Hobi smelled like at the moment and the idea of it made you smile. You turned off the water and dried off, getting dressed in some pajamas and flopped back down on your bed like earlier, forgetting all about your captive Totoro.

Your head was turned to the side, and eyes closed. You felt something soft poke you in the nose. Opening one eye, you saw a giant grinning Totoro directly in your face, and an equally grinning Hoseok above it.

"Totoro thanks you for showering. He also thanks me for making your bed this morning." Hoseok moved the plush around animatedly.

So he was the one who made your bed. How sweet of him.

You reached your arms out to grab your plush back from it's kidnapper, but Hoseok snatched it back. "Ah ah ahhh. One more thing, and you get him back." Your brows knit wondering what exactly he wanted now. "Call me Hobi oppa and you can have him." The eating grin on his face made you want to either kiss him or punch him, you weren't quite sure.

"Really? Jin and Yoongi make me say it all the time. You're only six months older than me."

"Well I'm not them. So do it!"

You gave an exagerated sigh and put on the cutest face you could manage. "Can I please have my Totoro back, Hobi oppa?"

You watched as the grown man squealed a little wiggled his body in excitement. "So cuuute!" he doted.

You gently grabbed the out stretched Totoro and snuggled it back in your arms. "Thank you, Hobi." Your voice quiet.

Hoseok pressed his lips together and looked down at you. "Is something wrong?"

There he went, sensing your mood switch again. You shrugged your shoulders. You weren't sure how you felt. A little defeated? Upset? Lonely? There was a silence between you two for a few moments, filled with soft snores of Taehyung, before Hoseok spoke again.

"Wanna talk about it?"

You sat up so you were closer to eye level with him. "Do you think...do you think the fans will ever accept me?" You played idly with the ear of the plushie and hung your head, avoiding eye contact with Hoseok. He placed his hand over your fidgetting one, and lowered his head so he was looking directly at you. You felt your entire chest light on fire.

"They will. I promise. This is just still kind of new to them. The show and fanmeet two days from now will be good for you to get acquainted with them. Do me a favor though, okay?"

"Okay."

"Be yourself. Be totally you. Call us Hobi and Joonie and Kookie and all those names we call each other every day. Make those cute funny faces you make when Yoongi or Jin tell you no. Smile a lot like you do with Taehyung and Jimin. Be happy. Be the you that Bangtan all knows and loves. Then ARMY will know and love you just as much too. I promise." He held out a pinky finger. You hooked your considerably smaller one with his, and he tightened it, sealing the promise deal.

He opened his arms and wrapped them snuggly around your shoulders. You thought that you could stay there forever if possible.

The hug broke much too soon for your liking. "Now get some rest! We have an exciting day coming up!" He flicked off your lamp light before leaving to go back to his room. You snuggled Totoro a little tighter, smelling the body wash on the plush fur. It smelled just a little of Hoseok too, and you liked that. You liked that a lot more than you would admit outloud.

Nervous was even the word to describe how you were feeling at the moment. It was just a few short minutes before you all were set to sit down for a few hours for the fan meet. You looked over at Taehyung bouncing around excitedly, Namjoon in his own little world, Jungkook trying to get away from the grabby hands of Jimin, and Yoongi and Jin on looking while shaking their heads. You wondered where exactly Hoseok was. Usually he was goofing off with everyone else, but at that moment, he was nowhere to be found.

A tap on your shoulder startled you. You jumped and spun around, meeting Hoseok's face with yours. He looked a little worried though he still smiled.

"Waa! Someone is jumpy today. Too much caffeine?" He gave a smile which you returned half heartedly.

Truthfully, you HAD had too much caffeine. You had made coffee before everyone else got up, downing half the pot by yourself by the time the first boy was up. Later at the venue, Jin offered to go grab you a coffee unknowing to how much you already had that day. You were just a tad jittery.

You cracked your knuckles together out of habit. "A little nervous is all. It's my first fan meet."

The manager called you all to line up and walk out. It was time. You swallowed nervously, wishing you still had some coffee to dampen your throat.

Hoseok threw his arm around your shoulder. "Don't worry. You'll be right inbetween Namjoon and I. We got you!"

You all lined up in age order, Namjoon infront of you as he was just a couple months younger, and Hoseok behind you, a few months older. He gave your shoulders a quick squeeze before you all walked out on to the stage to your spots.

The crowd was deafening. As far as you could see, there was a sea of fans all chanting and screaming and holding banners for their favorite members. You couldn't help but smile. It was overwhelming. You smiled and waved, and flashed a heart sign with your hands, trying your best to be yourself. You heard Namjoon introduce you all and you took your bow before everyone sat down.

You had expected things to go worse, way worse than they actually did. You had had a couple of fans skip over your signature and move on straight from Namjoon to Hoseok, but for the most part, people thanked you. A couple of younger girls even told you they were excited to be meeting you, hoping one day they can join their favorite oppas on stage too. Hearing those words warmed your heart, and you reassured them that with dedication and hard work, anything is possible.

There was one fan, a boy around Jungkook's age, who was particularly fond of you. "Noona!" He chirped, obviously a little nervous. "You're so small in person, wow." You couldn't help but giggle. You were a bit on the short side, but thanks to heels and inserts, you managed to be just a little shorter than Jimin most of the time on stage. "I'm a big fan of yours!"

Your heart swelled. So maybe you DID have a few fans after all. "Thank you so much!" you beamed up at him as you signed his album. "What's your favorite song?" you asked as you handed it back and he bowed.

"I don't have one. I just like to watch you."

That was a little odd, but you smiled nonetheless. "You should listen! Bangtan is very talented! We've all worked very hard!"

The boy shook his head. "Noona, I want to take you out on a date!"

You stilled. You weren't trained on how to handle these situations yet. "Uhh..."

A familiar hand found it's normal comforting resting place on your knee under the table cloth. "(Y/N) doesn't like to go out much. She prefers to stay at home. She's lazy like Suga." You were mentally thanking Hoseok for getting you out of that situation. You shot him a quick glance and a smile, before bidding the young teen goodbye and thanking him one last time.

When the boy had left Hoseok, he leaned over to whisper in your ear. "Boy that was awkward huh? You'll get used to it."

Hoseok's breath tickled your ear and you shivered slightly before leaning over to reply. "Thank you."

"Anything for you."

When you looked back up, you noticed a few girls frowning at you.

Uh oh.

The fan meet had ended, and you and the boys were shuffled off stage to go back in to hair and makeup and wardrobe changes while the stage was transformed for your performance in a couple of hours. You were sitting in a chair infront of a warm lighted mirror, enjoying the feeling of the stylist curling your hair. Yoongi walked over, and set an iced coffee down in front of you. Your manicured hand went to reach for it when--

"DON'T YOU TOUCH THAT MISSY!"

You looked up and gave a grumpy face towards Hoseok who snatched the coffee off your vanity. "I know how much coffee you've had today. Water. Hydrate. No more jitters" Your grump face deepened. Hoseok cracked open a water bottle. "Don't give me that face. You're not intimidating. It's like when Jungkook tries to be angry. It's just cute." He plunked a pink straw in the opening of the bottle. "So you don't mess up your lipstick." He gave a wink and you think your heart stopped. From the coffee or the wink, you weren't sure. Probably the wink. Definitely the wink.

You pursed your lips, eyeing YOUR coffee in his hands as he walked away. You angrily on the straw in your water bottle. When the door closed behind him, you stuck your tongue out at the closed door. "Says I can't have coffee. Hmph." You grumbled under your breath.

"Hoseok's right. It is cute when you're mad." You looked at Yoongi through the mirror. "Here." In his hands, he had a smaller iced coffee. "It's not a caramel macchiato like you like, but Jin said he didn't want his. Don't tell Hoseok."

You wiggled happily in your seat as you took the first sip of coffee. It was a bit more bitter than you liked, but hey, you weren't complaining. "Awww, Min Yoongi you're so sweet. Thank you for being my caffeine enabler."

"Yeah, yeah. Don't tell the others. They might get ideas and start asking me for things." He plunked down in the chair at the vanity beside yours getting his makeup finished.

You quickly down the coffee and threw the cup away before Hoseok came back in. You were mentally thanking Yoongi for the coffee to calm your nerves, because it was almost show time.

You had just finished getting dressed in the bathroom away from the others, and you were taking the time to admire yourself in the mirror. Your outfit for the day was a white elbow length button up tucked in to a black tennis skirt with a bow ribbon tied loosely in the collar of your shirt. You looked adorable with your hair all curled hanging loosely near your waist. You enjoyed this concept. It was very young and innocent feeling. Your makeup complimented it well with a slight tap of blush dusted across the apples of your cheeks and big blue contacts enlarging your eyes.

You stepped back out in to the main dressing room, and sat in your vanity chair, picking up your black and white knee high socks and pulling them on. You looked under the desk and spotted your shoes. "Converse. Of course." You smirked to yourself. You had finished lacing up your sneakers when the other boys filed back in.

They were all wearing a similar shirt with black bow ties and suspenders clipped on to their impossibly tight pants. A couple of them adorned a black cardigan, a couple a hat, and a couple just plain. You stood up and turned around, eyes meeting directly with Hoseok's. And god did he look good.

"Y-you boys look nice." You mentally slapped yourself for stuttering. That was so unlike you. Immediately you blamed it on the coffe. Yeah the coffee. You looked down at your feet and scuffed your toe nervously.

"Noona! You look like a school girl!" Jungkook piped up.

"Kind of look more like a doll to me. You're almost as pretty as I am handsome."

You had to admit, Jin did look handsome, but that didn't stop you from laughing and rolling your eyes. "Thanks you guys!"

They all spread out around the room relaxing before the show started, but you stayed put in your seat infront of the mirror. You whipped out your phone and started to snap a few selfies for your instagram.

"Everyone is going to fall in love with you if you post those you know." You looked up from your phone to that stupidly handsome Hoseok standing beside you grinning. He bent his head down beside yours and smiled awaiting you to resume taking selfies. "Take some with me! Make sure they turn out well!"

When you finished, he took your phone and scrolled through the photos you took together. "Keep this one. This is the best of us." It was a photo of you smiling cutely, and him looking at you with a tender smile on his lips. It was a gorgeous photo. You were sure to keep it forever.

Hoseok stood infront of you and cocked his head to the side, rubbing his chin. "Something it missing." He turned to the vanity and rumaged through the cases or various makeup and hair supplies before pulling out a sparkly black bow hair clip. He positioned it on the side of your head and clipped it in before stepping back and admiring his work. "There. Now you really look like a school girl."

A huge grin spread across his face, and you could tell he just thought of something. "(Y/N) Can you do me a favor?" He cooed.

You didn't like the sound of that. "Mmmm. Possibly? What is it?"

"Can you call me oppa?"

There it was. That's what he wanted. You rolled your eyes and chuckled. "Jung Hoseok, you're not right in the head. You know that right?"

Hoseok pouted slightly. "Pleeeasee~ You just look so cute! Just this one time today!"

You couldn't resist the Hobi pout. No one could. It wasn't possible. "Fine fine fine." You put on that cute face you always did when he asked that of you. "Perform well today, Hobi oppa!"

Hoseok placed a hand over his heart and one up to his forehead. He closed his eyes and gasped. "My heart! I can't take it. Too much cute!"

You were thankful you had blush on to mask your ACTUAL blushing. He really needed to stop calling you cute, or you weren't going to survive the day. You finally took in a long glance of him. He really did look great in such a simple outfit. "Hobi you're so cute. So sweet to me. Always giving me compliments. I don't deserve it." You don't know why, but you felt inclined to hug him. So you did. Your arms wrapped around his slender waist, and you felt his snake around your shoulders. He tilted his head and rested his cheek on the top of your head and his hand rubbed up and down your back. Comforting. So comforting. There wasn't a better feeling in the world.

"GROUP HUG!"

Except that.

Jimin had barely given you a second after his announcement before you were crushed in the middle of six more boys. You giggles were muffled into Hoseok's chest and you could feel the vibrations of his own laughter against your face. The cooing and praises of your group members set a warmth in your heart that made everything seem to melt away.

When the hug dissipated, Namjoon walked over to his bag and pulled out 8 small boxes. "It's the end of the year, and we have all worked very hard. Even you, (Y/N) for the small amount of time you've been with us so far. I wanted to get us all a little something."

He passed out a matching box to everyone who opened them all at the same time. Inside your box was a silver charm bracelet with your name in each hanging charm along with a few bullet and microphone shaped charms. A light pink ribbon weaved in and out of the links of the bracelet. In the boxes all the boys had, they had a bracelet as well, but instead of charms, it was a thick leather band with silver letters of their name slid on it.

"Namjoon this is beautiful! Thank you so much!! i'm going to wear it forever!" You unclasped it and draped it around your wrist trying to hook it back. Your struggling fingers were stopped but Hoseok's more nimble ones as he clasped it for you. He gently held on to your fingers and twisted your wrist slightly from side to side to look at all the charms.

"It looks good on you. We should take a picture of our bracelets together to go with our selfie from earlier. Let me see your phone."

You handed over your phone and he opened the camera app. He arranged the charms so they dangled down on to the top of your hand displaying your name perfectly. Hoseok twisted his bracelet so his name was on display too. He grabbed your pinky with his and pressed your wrists together. With an odd twist of his other hand, he managed to snap the perfect photo.

He smiled at the image on the screen. "You'll have to make a collage edit of our photos."

You nodded at the idea. "We should do one like this with all of us!"

Everyone stood in a circle, braceleted hand out stretched in the middle. Some of the boys held out a peace sign, and others formed a heart. Hoseok gently intertwined a few of his fingers with yours and flashed a peace sign with his other hand. A stylist stood on a chair in order to get the perfect angle to look downwards for the photo.

You immediately put the photo on your instagram. "Bangtan. My life. My Happiness. To many blessings and adventures in the next year! I love you Bangtan! Thank you! Thank you ARMY!"

"(Y/N) It's show time!" Taehyung grabbed you by the wrist and led you towards backstage.

The nerves kicked back in. It was just a little hangout concert of sorts for New Years, but the intimacy of it all is what made you most nervous. You had no time to be nervous though, because Jimin's solo opening dance had begun. You were positioned behind the curtain his shadow was cast on as he danced around. You cast each boy a glance who all gave you a thumbs up and a smile.

"You're gonna be fine. Don't be nervous. You've done a few stages with us before." Hoseok whispered to you as he turned around.

You nodded and mouthed a quick "thank you" just before the curtain hiding you all began to rise.

The deafening cheers returned for the second time that day. The lights were bright, and the adrenaline pumped through your veins as the music started and everyone grouped in to position.

A smile tugged at your lips as you danced alongside the boys. It felt so right. The choreography flowed through your body just as easily as breathing was to you. The boys swirled around you, Jimin grabbing your hand and spinning you around passing you off to Hoseok who dipped you and snapped you back up, resuming the rest of the rehearsed choreography.

You felt your skirt flutter across your thighs as your hips moved and you spun around. Your hair bounced around freely since it was all curly and not restrained by a cap. You were really having a great time. You were held in a pose as Yoongi rapped a line. The next move was a simple bend and body roll; something you had done a million and one times before. As you bent your knee, it suddenly gave out. You heard it pop five or six times as you collapsed harshly to the ground; your scream amplified by your microphone.

Numb. Your knee was absolutely numb. You clutched on to it tightly. You heard the boys singing stop immediately. The thing that you heard next was way worse than the pain.

Booing.

They were booing you.

For something you had no control over. Accidents happen right? Warm tears began to prick at the corners of your eyes, not from the physical pain, but the pain in your heart. Seven forms crowded around your crumpled body on the floor before cameras or fans could spot you about to cry. Strong arms scooped you up, and you made sure you were all off stage before you began to wail and cling tighter to the neck of the man holding you.

You burried your face into the neck your arms were clung around. The scent was familiar. Comforting.

Hobi.

It was Hobi who had you scooped up in your arms and was running with you off stage. "Hobi oppa. It hurts." You cried out. The initial numbness had subsided and the pain was kicking in.

The sound of seven pairs of feet echoed in the halls for what felt like hours before you were being set down in the company's van. Hoseok laid you down in the longest back seat with your head in his lap.

"Namjoon, go back and explain to the fans the performance will be delayed for a few minutes and that (Y/N) and I will be missing. The rest of you, make your way back to the stage. Jin, go get an ice pack, a frozen water bottle, SOMETHING and bring it back here before we leave. Hurry!" Hoseok was shouting commands firmly but calmly.

The others began to climb in the van. "Hoseok, we can cancel tonight." Jimin said.

Your teary eyes met with the worried looks of the four left standing there. "No. Don't cancel. Hobi you need to stay and finish with the rest of them." You definitely didn't want the cancelation of Bangtan's show on your shoulders.

"I'm not letting you go to the Emergency Room by yourself. They can perform with out me this one night. It'll be fine."

Your tears began to fall harder. You were going to dissapoint ARMY. "Hoseok STAY." you choked out.

His hands gently grasped the sides of your face and lifted your face a little so you were looking at him. "I am taking you to the Emergency Room. you are not going to be alone. That is final. Got it?"

There was a firmness in his voice, but it was laced with something else. Worry? Care? You weren't sure. Instead you just nodded your head and wiped your tears with the back of your hands, your braclet jingling softly as you did so.

Jin came back quickly with a bag of ice and the manager hot on his heels who jumped in the drivers seat. Hoseok set the ice down on your knee, and you hissed as it came in contact with the sore spot. The look on Taehyung's face looked almost as if someone had just ran over his dog. You waved goodbye to the others reassuring them you were going to be okay. But when the door closed and the van started up, the tears began to flow some more.

"Aigoo. No tears. No tears. You're going to ruin your pretty makeup." Hoseok's thumbs gently wiped away the tears that rolled down your cheek. "Tell me what exactly happened?"

You took a few seconds to gain your compsure before speaking. "I was just dancing like normal, and all of a sudden my knee gave out and popped and I hit the ground."

"Oh, (Y/N). I'm so sorry. It must hurt so badly." Hoseok's voice was softer and his hands ran gently through your curls in attempt to calm you. "Don't worry. We're going to get you examined and make sure you're going to be okay. Nobody is mad at you. Alright? So don't think that."

Your glossy eyes looked up to his. "You're not mad you're missing the performance?"

"Not in the slightest. Your health and well being is more important. The only thing I'm mad about is I don't get to see you in this outfit for much longer." He giggled a little, sucessful in lightening the mood. Your face flushed warm, as you tried to hide your embarassment. Hoseok had a way of making you feel pretty even when you had tears and mascara running down your face.

A wave of nausea rushed over you suddenly and you groaned and closed your eyes. That didn't help any. Your head began to swirl and your vision got blurry.

You could see Hoseok's face above yours. "What's wrong?"

You clutched at the side of your head. "I'm clamy and dizzy and my vision is blurred and I feel like I'm going to puke."

Luckily the van had haulted and the side door was being opened. The manager grabbed you gently and set you down in the wheel chair provided. You lulled your head back, eyes closed still. The jostling only made you feel worse. You could hear the clicking of cameras in rapid fire. Reporters had followed you. "Hobi?" you whined out as the chair began to be pushed in to the building.

His hand caressed your shoulder breifly. "I'm right here. I'm pushing you. You're alright. We'll be in in a second."

You certainly didn't feel alright, you felt like death, and the thought of your dishevheled state being plastered on the internet in mere hours made you uneasy. But his words made you feel a little better that he hadn't left your side. Your wheel chair only paused for a moment as you heard him speak quickly to the receptionist.

Immediately you began to be pushed down the hallway, this time by a nurse, Hoseok's hand craddled gently in yours as he walked along side. You opened an eye to peek at him, his face worried in an un-Hoseok-like manner.

Your chair came to a stop and you opened your eyes to be met with the walls of a hospital room. Your head was spinning around at 100 miles per hour and you could have sworn there were two Hoseok's standing beside you.

"Miss (Y/N) we need to get you to the bed. Mr. Hoseok is going to help you stand up. Make sure you stand on your good leg only. Can you do that?" The nurses voice was a little raspy, and unpleasant to your ears. She sounded irritated like she was upset she was having to deal with the idols the media followed. You nodded your head complying hoping she would leave soon.

Hoseok grabbed you under the arms and began to coax you up slowly making sure all your weight was on your good leg. As soon as you were standing completely, the clamy dizzy feeling took over your body entirely. The last thing you remember seeing before everything went black was Hoseok's face.

You awoke to your head pounding. You fluttered your eyes open slowly before closing them again. They burned, and the light from the room only hurt them worse. You groaned at the pain all over your body. Your head pulsated, your stomach churned, your was sore from the fall, and your knee throbbed. You opened your eyes a bit more this time, not recognizing the room you were in. It was not the one you had passed out in. A slight pinching on the back of your hand made you aware of the steady beeping in the otherwise quiet room. You looked over and noticed an IV in your arm. You groaned again wondering just exactly what happened.

There was a slighty stirring in your other hand, and you looked down to see Hoseok. He was sitting in a chair beside your bed, head laid down on the side of it with his hand in yours, asleep.

He was still there.

He had stayed. Even though you passed out.

Poor thing. He must have been exhausted. You took a moment to take in his features. His lips were parted gently and his bangs hanging in his eyes. He was too handsome for words.

You brought your other hand over to sweep his bangs away from his eyes. "Hobi." You whispered quietly. When he didn't respond, you ruffled his hair, rousing him from his slumber.

He looked up at you and blinked sleepily. Cute. When he gathered his bearings, he smiled at you. His voice was low and raspy when he spoke to you. "Hey baby."

Baby.

That was a new one.

Hoseok had never called you that before. You felt your cheeks flare up in a heat. "H-hi."

There was silence. Hoseok's hand still in yours as he stared at you intently. "You scared me pretty badly." He finally spoke up.

Guilt washed over you in drowning waves. "I'm sorry. I didn't intend to scare you. What happened exactly?"

"You fainted. The doctor said your heart rate was high, you were severly dehydrated, and you were partially in shock from your accident." A worried glance. "You're stabilized now but they want to keep you over night to make sure. You were passed out for a couple of hours. You didn't drink that water I gave you did you?"

You shook your head, embarassed. "No. Yoongi gave me coffee, but he said not to tell you. I'm sorry." Youwere worried Hoseok was going to be mad at you. When you looked up, he held an amused expression.

"That Min Yoongi. He only has a soft spot for you and Jungkook, I swear."

You couldn't help but smile a little. "And my knee?"

"It's just a torn ligament. You're going to be put in a brace and on crutches for a couple of weeks. You're also going to have to be out of performances for a few more weeks afterwards to ensure you've healed properly."

You turned your face and brought your free hand up to your eyes to hide the fact you were about to cry.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's wrong (Y/N)? You're going to be just fine." Hoseok got out of his chair and sat on the edge of the bed closer to you instead.

"I'm so sorry. I've worried you. I've dissapointed Bangtan. I've upset ARMY. I've just created a real mess haven't I?"

Hoseok's face looked pitiful. "You haven't dissapointed anybody. Accidents happen. I'm just glad you're going to be okay. We all are. The boys are in the waiting room. They have been since they finished the show and got here as soon as possible."

"We should let them know I've woken up."

Hoseok nodded. "First, I have to tell you something." He adverted your gaze and you immediately got nervous. His fingers moved down to play with the charms on your bracelet. "As your friend, I feel very protective over you. I feel like I want to shield you from every bad thing in this world. I feel like I want to take care of you and hold you and tell you everything is going to be alright. Tonight, I was so worried about you and things were out of my control and I just couldn't stand it. I couldn't stand seeing you hurting. I couldn't stand seeing you unconsious like that. I tried so hard to take care of you the best I could. It just didn't feel like enough." Hoseok took a deep breath. "Taking care of you as your friend isn't enough for me." His eyes finally reconnected with yours, and you felt your heart bounce to your cold little toes and back. "I want you to be mine. I want to stay by your side and protect you and care for you and cherish you in the biggest way I can. I would really really like for you to be my girlfriend."

Your throat went dry. Were you still dreaming? Did Jung Hoseok REALLY just confess to you? The man you had been swooning over before he even knew you existed!? You were speechless. Your eyes were wide as Hoseok looked at you with waiting eyes. You just nodded for a few solid seconds before the courage to speak arose.

"Yes. Yes! Hobi you would make me the happiest girl in the world. Of course!"

His arms were wrapped around you a nanosecond later. He was laughing in happiness. It was the best, most pure sound in the world.

He pulled back, grinning wildly at you. His beaming face switched to something different. Something a bit more sultry; a bit more needing.

He tucked a stray curl behind your ear, and elt his fingers graze gently on your jawline. "(Y/N) I know it seems soon, but can I kiss you?"

Mentally you were screaming YES but on the outside, all you could do was nod dumbfoundedly again.

Hoseok gave you a small smirk and craddled his hand on the back of your neck. His eyes darted down to your lips and up to your eyes again before he closed his and leaned in.

Your eyes shut just before his lips pressed tenderly agaisnt your own. It was a perfect first kiss, no matter how sappy it sounded. It wasn't too long or demanding, but it wasn't a ghost of a peck of the lips. Hoseok's lips moved slightly on yours spilling all the things words couldn't say perfectly.

The heart monitor you were hooked up to began to beep at a more rapid pace, and you could feel Hoseok smile against your lips before he pulled away.

"I guess we should wait to do that again when you're not hooked up so the nurses don't come in all worried. I'll go get the boys now." He stood up to leave but gave you a kiss on the temple first before leaving you alone to your thoughts for a couple of minutes.

Jung Hoseok. Your Hobi. Your Hobi. You placed your cool hands on your flushed cheeks hoping to cool them off before everyone else came in.

Jimin was carrying a bouquet of flowers bigger than he was, Taehyung had an assortment of "Get Well Soon" balloons all in pink, and Jungkook carried a stuffed animal holding a giant plush heart.

"Noona!" They all chorused as the put down their gifts and smothered you with hugs.

"We thought you were going to die!" Taehyung exclaimed a little over dramatically.

"Who else was going to match my clean socks for me if you died?" Jungkook asked with a big puppy dog pout.

These kids. As dramatic and boisterous as they were, you still loved them, and you were glad to see them.

Yoongi was holding your bag from the venue, and Jin carried another bag.

"What's in there?" you asked pointing to the over stuffed tote bag in his hands.

"Fan gifts for you. Most of them were really upset you were hurt so badly so they wanted us to give you their gifts personally."

You couldn't believe it. "Are you lying to me? They booed at me after I fell."

Jin pulled a face. "Some did boo, yes, but we explained you were very seriously injured and they apologized. They all wished you to get well soon."

You wiped away the forming tears of happiness in your eyes. Maybe you did have some fans after all. "I'm sorry I had to miss it. Did the concert go well?"

Namjoon handed Hoseok your backpack from home filled with necessities before he answered. "It went alright. We were all alittle down in spirits just hoping you were alright. But we did okay. Jungkook and Yoongi covered Hoseok's parts so it wasn't too big of a deal."

You nodded and thanked them all for being there for you. You shivered slightly and Hoseok immediately drew off his cardigan and draped it on your shoulders. The others looked on with watchful eyes.

Your stomach rumbled, interrupting the silence.

"You must be hungry. Tell me anything you want, and I'll go get it for you okay?" Hoseok stood up from his spot on your bed as you thought for a moment.

"Bulgogi."

"Really? Out of anything in Korea, you choose bulgogi?"

"You said anything I wanted! And that's what I want. It's a comfort food."

Hoseok chuckled. "Alright then. I'll be back in a bit. There's a place jsut down the street." He ruffled your hair lovingly before leaning down to give you a peck on the cheek.

Jungkook's eyes widened and he pulled the most mischevious grin he had ever pulled.

"Oooooo!~" The three youngest chorused together.

"Are you two-?" Namjoon pointed back and forth between you and Hoseok with an eyebrow raised.

You nodded with a grin and Hoseok mirrored your action.

It was silent for a couple of seconds.

"ing finally!" Yoongi piped up. The room burst in to laughter. "We've been wondering when you'd get the balls Hoseok. Took you long enough! You two have been flirting hardcore since day one."

You thought you would feel awkward with everyone knowing, but instead you just felt happy, and laughed along with everyone else.

"Yeah, yeah. Shut up Yoongi. I know you gave her coffee after I left. We're gonna have to have a talk!" Hoseok pointed his finger at Yoongi before walking out the door.

Yoongi looked at you and pouted. "You snitched! I thought we were friend's man!"

You truly couldn't have been more thankful for that night. Despite being in the hospital on New Years Eve, the boys made it all special. You sat in bed, with Hoseok beside you, an arm around your waist, as he fed you bites of your food. The others ate happily in chairs or on the end of your bed as you all watched the New Years program on TV.

"5...4...3...2...1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" you all screamed in unison as midnight struck, signalling the new year. You felt Hoseok's hand under your chin as he turned your face towards his to give you a midnight kiss. The hoops and hollers of the boys in the room only grew louder as they watched your lips meld together a short couple of times.

Hoseok leaned in close to your ear. "My New Years wish is to give you the best I can give you. I want to be your hope."

You smacked him playfully on the chest for using his signature line. "You already are. Thank you for making me so happy, Hobi oppa!"

Yaaay! i finished a day late. Lol. WOOPS. It turned out longer than I had expected. Hopefully it's not as bad as I feel it is. If you liked these please comment and let me know! I appreciate your feedback when I try a new writing style!
