Winter is eternal and has become increasingly brutal for the people that have managed to survive the end of days.  

Luhan believes the only path to humanity's survival is with the total control of the rebels.

However, division among the people has always been a hinderance to any possibility of change.

And the rebels have become impatient- it's time to send up the flare.

If you're one of my beta readers for "Fleur de Feu", this spin-off is my gift to you.  It's a prequel of sorts as it offers a glimpse into how things were before the official division between Fleur and Cristal occurred.

 I loved it! While reading it you get the feeling of peace yet war. It leaves you in a state of  just staring at something but you don't know why you are staring at it. I can assure that many people would love this is they read to the end! I overall enjoyed it too much!

Overall, this was a pleasing read. Your plot was interesting and I feel like your writing style successfully conveyed it. Compliments on the layout and organization. I had no problems with it. The anticipation built from reading the foreword was not deflated as your story managed to keep me with the same level of thrill throughout. Good job. I would recommend this to people looking for this type of story but personally would not re-read or go on to reading the second installment.
