Kim Jongin wants to be a journalist. He gets an assignment to report on something real that he finds. Do Kyungsoo is a writer. He writes his novels by living out the fictional situations of his characters and seeing where the plot takes him. When Kyungsoo, the most fictionally confused person there is, becomes Kim Jongin's real subject, and Jongin becomes a protagonist of Do Kyungsoo, the line between reality and fiction is easily scribbled out as romance ensues and they inspire each other.
