Hello Dear Readers!

This is a multichaptered, multi pairing fanfic. I won't reveal the endgame pairings or the pairs I plan on including to not spoil the reading pleasure. As of this point, there is nothing that should be rated M in the story, but I do plan on including such moments in the future. I will update the rating, then. Also, be warned, this fanfic is of rather angsty nature, and there will be a lot of possibly triggering themes, such as substance abuse, alcohol, self-harm and violence. What I can guarantee is no character death or graphic descriptions of self-harm. I don't think I will be specifying the triggers in each chapter, I feel like that would be spoiling too much. Please understand.

The work is based on Fall Out Boy's album "From Under the Cork Tree". Each of the chapters is based on each song from the album, keeping the original order. What's more, each chapter is named with lyrics of the said song, and in every chapter there are quotes from the lyrics incorporated into the actual work. You can try to spot them if you want! 

Wait, frigcal, if it's based on the albm "From Under the Cork Tree", why is the name of the fanfic "Black Clouds and Underdogs"?
See, BCaU is a repackage/special edition of FUtCT, involving two additional songs. I will not do chapters based on them, but I will involve a bonus chapter, so I feel like the name of the repackage suits this work better.

I have no idea how frequent the updates will be and for that, I am sorry, but I'd rather work a month on a chapter than provide something short or low-quality. I'll try to not make any long breaks though.
