— THE ROYAL ACADEMY.
PHOTO: hohenzollern castle   ♚ synopsis — this is an academy in the centre of the continent that is primarily funded by the royal families. there, all species have agreed to let it be neutral ground; if any wars broke out, no party would harm the academy but those who weren't students would also not be allowed to take refuge there. there are different ways that a person might become a student. they might be invited after having been seen in a vision by The Prophetess (not the plotline but the one employed at the academy) or their parents might have sent them to receive a good education or they were brought there by some sort of rescue team. it's not an orphanage but people who have no where else to go can be trained there but then they have to serve the academy the rest of their life.

♚ academy events. —
♚ MRA open house — held once a year at the end of the year. parents of potential enrollees get to scope-out the Academy & the parents of the current student are able to check on their child's progress & meet the staff of MRA.
♚ royal balls — Winter & Spring; where students have a chance to mingle outside of a learning setting. many royal couples are formed at these events.
♚ competitions — there are mini-tournaments each month for the fighting subjects. there is a large tournament held once a year for all of the different classes.
