“Finally...” She whispered to herself after waiting for her so-called brother to step into deep slumber. She tip toed to the hall and closed the door behind without making any obvious sounds that might wake up her family members.

She took shy and reticent steps towards the balcony and finally took in a whole lot of fresh air when she reached her destination. She quickly dialled his number and her call was answered within the first ring. A series of kisses were sent from the other line and she too returned the favour.

“Happy birthday Bia!” He uttered through his phone and gave another kiss. Bia was flustered and was thankful that he wasn’t here to see her in her current state.  To say that she was shy was an understatement.“Thank you little brat!” She .
