Chapter Three: Summer Days
A World Where You and I Can Exist
“Jaeyoung-ah~”
She heard Boa’s voice from the other line. It was the last month of their summer break and she thinks she has a clue as to why her friend is calling her sounding all so clingy.
“What do you want?” She said flatly.
“We haven’t seen each other for almost a week! How could you be so cold?!”
“I’m busy. I’m helping out at the bakeshop. ”
“Oh, you’re still working there? Great! I’ll drop by. See ya!”
“Hey, wait! Boa?” I sighed. She’s always been like this.

“J-Jung Yunwoo.” I absentmindedly said.
“Good. Seems like you still remember me, Jaeyoung-ah.” He smiled.
Since when did we become close that he addresses me so casually?

“Help me pick out a cake.” The girl said in the cutest possible way while batting her eyelashes.
I saw Yunwoo smile at her. “See you around.” He said to me then walked to what seemed like his girlfriend.
"Help me pick out a cake~" Jaeyoung immitated the way the girl spoke annoyingly. She knows her from school.
When Yunwoo was within arm’s reach the girl wrapped her arms around him possessively as she gave me a menacing look.
What the hell. I thought as I finished cleaning up the table.
"Go Ara?! Seriously? What's up with his taste in women?" Jaeyoung whispered words laden with anger to herself.
I heard the bell chime again.
Okay Jaeyoung. Breathe~
