“I’m bored” Sungmin threw remote control to an empty space on Kyuhyun’s sofa, he looked at Kyuhyun who was concentrating with laptop on his lap “kyu” no respond  “Cho KyuKyu” Sungmin called him with aegyo but Kyuhyun didn’t even listen to him, Sungmin sighed, there was no way Kyuhyun would notice him when he was in serious mode creating new music for his new album and no matter how many times Sungmin was being ignored by Kyuhyun he still didn’t get used to it, Sungmin stood up took his coat and walked out from Kyuhyun’s apartment and Kyuhyun still didn’t realize.

“He doesn’t even notice when I walked out from his apartment! Imagine if a thief went in to his place? He wouldn’t notice even a bit until all his things are gone!” Sungmin complaining to his friend Ryeowook whom visited Sungmin’s office that day

“Well he’s rich he could just buy everything he lost, anyway here’s your new client’s file, he’s my friend and I hope he will wins the deal” Sungmin took the file and studied it

“Fraud?” Sungmin looked up at his best friend with one eyebrow up

“I swear he isn’t the guilty one, I know him since we were 5 years old! He won’t do that kind of thing!” Ryeowook took a can of coke in front of him and drank it

“Ok… I got it… this case is interesting anyway” Sungmin put the file inside his drawer made Ryeowook starred at him furiously

“How dare you put that file away, you should help him now Lee Sungmin! N-o-w”

“The court will only start 2 weeks later I have more urgent client this week, come to think of it… I need to go for his court in an hour you can stay here if you want but I need to go first” Sungmin took his suitcase and immediately walked out from his office left Ryeowook behind

Became a lawyer had been his passion since he was a kid but still when it came to the real work Sungmin suffered a lot for it. like that day when he just attended a court about murder his head felt like it was going to explode, why people murder each other like nobody’s business nowadays… Sungmin talked inwardly to himself. A murder case always something he hated the most, to see other people suffering for it, the dramas, and an idiot but rich client always disgusted him. After a long court just like that day, Sungmin usually went back to his place and slept through those negative thoughts he had. He wished Kyuhyun was around, usually by only listening to his voice Sungmin’s headache would gone in a minute like magic. ‘that idiot still dating with his laptop I bet’ Sungmin sighed, he stepped out from his car and went up to his apartment but surprisingly he saw someone he knew stood up in front of his apartment’s door

“Yo” Kyuhyun raised up one of his hand to Sungmin coolly, Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun surprised by the latter presence “What time did you go home this morning? How come suddenly you were gone from my place?”

“What time did you realize I was gone?” Sungmin asked back

“7pm” unsurprised by what Kyuhyun said, Sungmin moved to his door and opened it

“I went out 10hours before that” Sungmin went in with Kyuhyun following behind

“Wow”

“Yeah wow”

“This is scary” Sungmin hold Kyuhyun’s sweater tightly while cuddling up with the latter prepared to go to sleep after Kyuhyun sang his favorite song as usual to chase his headache away

“Scary?” Kyuhyun who already closed his eyes opened it again starring at Sungmin who was perfectly fitted on his body

“All humans… they are scary” Sungmin didn’t even bother to open his eyes and just talk with both of his eyes closed, snuggled closer to find warmth from Kyuhyun’s body

“So finally you admit that you are not a human” Kyuhyun said bluntly and made him received a light punch on his back

“Shut up” and Kyuhyun really did shut up, they remained silent for few minutes later “Kyu” Sungmin called him “Cho Kyuhyun”

“Didn’t you tell me to shut up, well now it’s time for you to shut up, I want to sleep I have early schedule tomorrow”

“But I’m still upset” Sungmin pouted finally opened his eyes and found his own happiness by staring at Kyuhyun’s sleeping face

“So what should I do now”

“Just give me your opinions will do, I need to talk it out”

“Go ahead” Kyuhyun said while still closing his eyes

“Do you think this world is really scary lately? Murders everywhere like… where’s humanity? Aren’t we supposed to help each other not kill each other? I feel really bad today after become a lawyer for an idiot who clearly murdered someone but because of his money he can be free from all the murder charges he supposed to get” Sungmin huffed holding back his tears “I feel sorry for the victim’s family, to not get what they supposed to get, what is justice? Why am I doing this for them” Sungmin closed his eyes and he still could see the victim’s family on his mind, Kyuhyun moved Sungmin closer to his body trying to shake away all the guilt feelings Sungmin had back then

“That’s your job and well… I have to admit, your job ”

“It is indeed” Sungmin bit his lips nervously “should I give up?”

“Give up and be miserable for a long time afterwards? Your job but that doesn’t mean you are , you have to learn how to barricade yourself from the court world and your real world, tell me again your dream”

“I want to give justice for all poor people in this world”

“Will it happen when you give up on your dream?”

“No” Sungmin shook his head and felt better after heard what Kyuhyun told him “thanks Kyu” Sungmin smiled

“finally I can sleep” Kyuhyun said made Sungmin chuckled, after that none of them said anything but Sungmin still couldn’t close his eyes

“Kyu” Sungmin called him again

“Aish… I thought you are done with your speech Mr. Lawyer?” Kyuhyun asked feeling irritated

“Do you know what is scarier than those I’ve said just now?” Sungmin stared at Kyuhyun seriously now

“Yeah what?”

“This whole situation, you and me on the same bed, cuddle up to each other like a lover when we are actually not… it’s scary isn’t it Kyu? That we get used to do this when we don’t even know what we are right now” Sungmin nervously looked at Kyuhyun now “Kyu… tell me honestly… what are we actually?”
