Jihoon and Seungcheol have always defined themselves as best friends; nothing more, nothing less. No matter how many friends told them that they're not just friends, that they had passed the level of mere friendship years ago, they chose to ignore the constant rain of comments and refused to acknowledge their feelings for one another. They had grown up with each other, supported each other all their lives, and breaking such a tight bond would be their worst nightmare unraveling in front of their eyes and being helpless to stop it. So they hid behind shielded hearts like cowards, skirting around each other and carding through boyfriends in a desperate attempt to forget. But one night changed that all.

Foreword
Inspired by 17! Ginko's FMV, "You're Not Friends." This is also the same alternate universe as my JiCheol oneshot, "Photograph" (link here), since some requested it to be put out in a full-length story and I wanted to expand on this as well. Honestly, I don't have the entire storyline thought out, but reading "Photograph" won't be necessary because it will eventually be put in a chapter here. Also, various pairings will make their entrance in this fic: definitely Meanie; possibly Soonseok, Jihan, Junhao, and/or Seungsol (I'm looking into this still, so no promises ;P). I think this work will be sort of a prequel/expanded version/sequel all crammed into one. This will definitely be chaptered because I'm not putting my readers through a 20k word chapter—I'm not that mean.
[WARNING] There may be added in future chapters. I'm not giving 100% clarification, but sometimes I'll get carried away and these topics could surface. A fair warning is being given, just in case. If I do decide to add , I'll make note of it in the beginning of the chapter. If you do not wish to read the chapter, yoHowever, I will not be rating the chapter "M" purely because I know people underage could still be alright with the .
