Jungkook was pacing around the room awkwardly, while Namjoon was just sitting on his bed, playing with his phone as always. Jungkook then went out of the room, feeling relieved when the uncomfortable atmosphere was finally gone. He the TV and opened a bag of snacks. Munching them, he kept changing the channel because none of them was interesting to him. Giving up, he sighed and turned off the TV. Holding the snack in his hand, he got up and walked to the balcony. He enjoyed the soft breeze that was caressing his face gently.

 

 

Jungkook never spent much time with Namjoon. In the dorm, all Namjoon did was making music and beats with Yoongi in the Bangtan room. Jungkook mostly only talked to Taehyung, Jimin, Hoseok, and Seokjin. Then he sighed. He wanted to talk to the leader too. He wanted to chat with Namjoon, he wanted Namjoon to be as talkative in the dorm just like he was in reality shows. He snapped back to reality when he heard the door opened and closed, and of course, footsteps. He knew that those footsteps belonged to Namjoon. He shivered when he heard the sound getting closer, closer and closer until it stopped just beside him. Namjoon then folded his arms and stood beside him, not saying anything.

 

A comfortable silence fell through them, well, Jungkook felt so. He didn't feel awkward, but he was afraid the older would think that it was. And so he opened his mouth to speak.

"Do you feel that we are a-awkward, h-hyung?" he stuttered, words falling a bit weaker than he thought.

Namjoon then stared at him for a brief time, but to Jungkook, it was almost eternal. Then he heard Namjoon chuckling, and so Jungkook turned his head to face him.

"Does what the members say affect you that much, until you're pondering around the room awkwardly?" Namjoon smiled.

Jungkook blushed, he was seen-through. Well, not that it wasn't obvious.

"You know," Namjoon put his hand on the younger's hair, caressing it gently. "I don't really care about how do people see us."

Then he took a deep breath,

"I don't think that we're awkward. Maybe I focused too much on my phone so that I rarely spoke. And you wanted someone to talk, so you went to Tae and the others, and so we rarely talked. Probably that's why the others saw us as being awkward with each other."

"Sorry, hyung, it's not that I don't like you or anything-" Jungkook answered, but he was cut by Namjoon.

"It's okay, really. I understand. I'm not really talkative after I meet my phone, eh?" Namjoon chuckled.

Jungkook felt guilty somehow. It felt like he was blaming Namjoon for everything, but really, that wasn't the case. He has never thought like that; really.

Jungkook then took a deep breath, and after a few seconds of silence, he said,

"Hyung, can I say something that may make us more awkward or not awkward at all?"

Namjoon looked at him, he seemed amused by Jungkook's question. Then he grinned and said, "Say it."

The younger then dropped his gaze to the floor and his cheeks heated up.

"I actually want to spend time with you, hyung. I like you so much."

Jungkook felt like the world has stopped, and that he was stuck somewhere. The atmosphere made his breath hitch and he became sweaty because of all the nerve-wracking situation and stuff.

 

That was, until suddenly he felt a pair of hands on both side of his cheeks, and a warm, sharp eyes looking at his. 

"I'd be glad too, I like you too, so much." Namjoon smiled.

Then, Jungkook circled his arms on Namjoon's neck, and Namjoon giggled and hugged him back. 

 

"So we're not awkward, right, hyung?"

"Definitely not."

 

"They are so awkward," Taehyung rolled his eyes, watching them secretly.

"They aren't, Taehyung-ah," Hoseok chuckled.

"Well, let's leave them alone, shall we?" Seokjin said as he gestured for the others to go.

"Yup," Jimin grinned.
