Breaking Up“Hyukkieeeeeeee!!”
Hyukjae held his stomach as he laughed. Choco, being the little princess she was, nestled herself comfortably on top of Donghae’s back and refused to budge. Every time he moved, Choco would growl and Donghae would lie still again to pacify her.
“Do something, don’t just stand there and laugh!” Donghae pouted, wriggling around to see if Choco would get off. Hyukjae shook his head and grinned. “It’s fun watching you like this. Choco is a perfect little princess. She’s just showing how much she likes you.”
“I’m telling your mom!”
“Tell me about what, sweetheart?”
Hyukjae’s mother strolled into the living room with a tray of cookies and snacks for the boys. “Now, Hyukjae, be nice to your neighbour.”
“I am being nice to him! Choco just likes him a lot!” Hyukjae giggled, then burst into laughter again. Hyukjae’s mother rolled her eyes and chuckled. “Why don’t you put Choco in her playpen so you can both start studying?”
“But moooooom,” Hyukjae whined. “Studying is soooo boring!”
“You could ask Donghae for help. He’s really good at Mathematics. Choco, be a good girl and come to me… there’s a good girl,” his mother praised.
Donghae got up and stuck his tongue out at Hyukjae. “Meanie! I’m not talking to you for a week!”
“But Choco really liked you!”
Hyukjae offered Donghae his favourite chocolate cookies when the latter began to pout. “Hae, I'm sorry. Forgive me?”
