Seulgi POV

I was surprised by his actions. He just froze suddenly. He turned towards me.

Kai: We can't leave this place

Seulgi: Wh....Oh...

I then figured why he was acting this way. There were many fans outside. Even if we were to leave at a different timing, the fans will eventually figure out our identities. We couldn't risk it. 

Kai: I guess we're stuck here..

I nodded my head and we decided to get back to the practise room. We went back to the same sitting place. We kept silent for a while. I looked at Kai and he seemed rather stressed out. 

Seulgi: Jongin-ah, why?

Kai: (sigh) I guess we can't go back to how we were huh?

I could relate to what he said. Thinking back on how different it was then and now, I felt a little upset.

Kai: We can't even be seen together in public because it's risky. Those that I talk to end up getting hurt by my fans. I can't hurt anymore people

Seulgi: Look, let's not worry about all these things. It's something we can't escape from. We chose this path. We have to live with it

The both of us had troubles but we helped each other feel better. I felt so glad to have such a great friend like him.

Kai: Thanks Seulgi-ah. So, should we go home now? It's quite late. You should get your rest

Seulgi: Yeah I should. Hold on.

I called my manager as she told me to wait for her to call when she has arrived. We talked about our careers and soon enough, I got a call from my manager. She was already here. We both then made our way to leave the building. We stopped at the corridor before the fans would see us.

Seulgi: Thanks for today, really (slight smile)

He just smiled towards him. I turned around but immediately turned back again. I went to him and gave a tight hug but pulled away quickly before running out into the car as manager unnie started driving.

Manager: Why did you take so long to practise with him huh?

Seulgi: (lies) Well, I made many mistakes

Manager: Okay. Next time don't take too long.

Seulgi: Okay

I didn't know why I had to hug him. I just wanted to. I didn't manage to catch his reaction but I wanted him to know how thankful I was. Throughout the journey, I recalled back my times with Jongin today. My he
