"Why does it have to be Monday".. i grumbled while examining my face in the mirror, there they were, those two red eyes piercing through the mirror then reflecting back to me. I then saw my long black hair which fell right above my lower back. i sighed in the mirror puffing out my cheeks then rolling my eyes when i saw the dark sky out my window. Did i seriously wake up early, again? i ran to my clock and saw that i had woken up extra early today "5:30am are you kidding me!" i yelled then quickly shut my mouth remembering i live in an apartment and could be waking up other people who were lucky enough to be sleeping. I got dressed and had breakfast. I had gotten so adapted to human food i rarely need blood anymore, but there is always that day when i crave it, i try to control my self but sometimes it gets too hard to fight back the raging urge that i have when falling upon a scent.

I remember when i was able to have blood everyday, not even giving human food a second glance. It was about 200 hundred years ago when the vampire democracy was overthrown. I don't know how it happened, but humans were able to defeat us. I haven't seen another vampire other than the royal council, which are very well hidden, i should know, since I'm the princess. That's how i was able to survive. I had been below in the underground mines of our castle, accompanied by my brother and parents and other royal relatives. I had been cowardly protected. When everyone that i loved as subjects,taken to death by those savages. They think vampires are the real threat. I guess its a agree to disagree situation. I am meant to be the queen right now, but i turned the offer down. I'm too cowardly and clumsy to be ever taken seriously in such a high role. So my brother is now the one on the throne. We were very close. But ever since i disowned the family completely he has lost trust in me.i can't blame him. I would choose the same. But i know he is doing justice as king. At least, i hope he is. So now i pretend to be a 17 year old high school girl. fun!!11!11!! *sarcasm
