notes; hello there! it's been  a while! accounting is vv stressful for a starter but im still here i can do this. and also here is a drabble about sappy soongyu bfs ♡

It's a bright sunny day, what more can you ask for? It's a nice day to go for a walk, maybe while eating your favorite ice cream, dressed up with some nice clothes. But Mingyu seems to have other things in mind today. Because right now, he's standing in front of his boyfriend's apartment door. The number 214 embossed in the silver plate on the door. 

He's smiling, wearing a red sweater Soonyoung, his boyfriend, said to be his favorite. It looks so cozy,he remembers Soonyoung nuzzles him when they were watching some chick flick on some random channel. Mingyu knocks two times before his boyfriend open and jump at him. They both laugh at Soonyoung's silly move.

"Babe!" Soonyoung looks at him, his eyes disappearing from smiling so wide. "I miss you." He hugs Mingyu by the neck and pull him inside his apartment.

Mingyu laughs and pats his loving boyfriend's back.

It's just so surreal how he has this little ball of sunshine as his boyfriend. Mingyu, the boy who you're head over heels with during your school days but is just as insecure as everyone else, can be with someone who makes him so happy and confident. Sometimes I just want to pray all day to thank god that he gave me someone like you. Mingyu wants to say it but he knows Soonyoung would just laugh and say that he's crazy if he does that. But it's true.

Somehow Mingyu's like that. He never, in his entire life, would think that someone like Soonyoung would love him the same. His friends told him that he's too naïve to get others' feelings towards him, and that it would take billions of years to find someone he's capable with. Who would've guess that the president of the science club and the good looking varsity guy would end up together. It's been six years since they started being boyfriends. It's been six years of never ending I love you's and hugs that never seem to be enough.

They both sat on the fluffly burgundy couch Soonyoung got after he graduated college a year ago, still with their body close to each other.

"What are you doing here?" Soonyoung said, still nuzzling on Mingyu's sweater. Like a Koala,Mingyu thinks.
Mingyu hugs him tightly,"I'm here to see my baby,what else?" He smiles when Soonyoung looks up and pinch his nose.

"I love you." Soonyoung muttered and pouts when Mingyu mouths an okay in return.

Mingyu shakes Soonyoung lightly,still hugging him,"I'm sorry. I love you too. And I brought some red velvet and lemon flavored cupcakes. I know how much you wanted it-"

Soonyoung screech and jump over to the coffee table where the box of cupcakes are, and he thanks Mingyu because I was supposed to buy these later but thank you baby! I love you!

Mingyu came to sit beside Soonyoung on the carpeted floor and opened the box of cupcakes,"Anything for my soonie." He coos and nuzzles Soonyoung's neck. The older chuckles and kisses Mingyu's hair.

The two continued talking to each other as they finish eating the eight cupcakes inside the red box. Mingyu consistently smiling and nuzzling close to Soonyoung, because he really can't get enough of his boyfriends. Soonyoung on the other hand, feeds Mingyu cupcakes as they both talk about how their day went.

"The laboratory's so busy these days. I'm just lucky I got a day off today, and it's such a nice day. I just want to rest and eat." Soonyoung whines when Mingyu asked him what is he going to do for the next few hours.

"Yeah, I rarely get to have a break because coach is so strict since the game's in two weeks." Soonyoung's eyes grew big and placed the half eaten red velvet cupcake back in the box.

"That's not good," Soonyoung loosely put his left hand around Mingyu's waist. "You know how much you need food. Babe~" The older whines and fakes his crying.

"It's fine. I eat a lot whenever I get home because I know how worried my baby gets."

"Because your baby loves and cares for you so much,gyu." Soonyoung coos and pecks Mingyu's lips.

The two ended up snuggling together on the couch a few minutes after finishing their conversation, the cupcakes were left half eaten inside the box. Mingyu was holding Soonyoung tightly. It's like he's afraid that his boyfriend would leave and never come back. Soonyoung was doing the same, being slightly smaller that the other, his head is nuzzled between Mingyu's chest and his. Their body intertwined together and never want to let go
