The Best of Me.
Non-Fiction
Sometimes words are hard to find
I'm lookin' for that perfect line
To let you know you're always on my mind
Yeah, this is love
An' I've learned enough to know
I'm never lettin' go
No, no, no, won't let go
When you want it, when you need it
You'll always have the best of me
I can't help it, believe it
You'll always get the best of me

"Come on, Ha Myung, please! I'll even let you have half my chocolate!" Whispered, eight year old Jae Myung, to his dongsaeng, while their Omma hustled around in the kitchen.
Five year old, Ki Ha Myung, heaved a sigh that was much beyond his years, as he nodded, letting Hyung dump his egg yolk into his bowl. His Hyung hated the yolk, and Omma was very strict when it came to food. So most days, at breakfast, Jae Myung would end up sneaking his egg yolk into Ha Myung's bowl, while Omma wasn't looking. Ha Myung didn't mind. He liked eggs. And besides, eating hyung's egg yolk meant getting half his chocolate as well. It was a win-win deal.
"O-okay," he sighed. "But you have to give me the chocolate today. Not after five days, like last time" he grumbled.
Jae Myung barely managed to put his egg yolk into Ha Myung's bowl, when Omma looked up and caught them.
"Jae Myung, are you making your dongsaeng eat your egg yolk again?" asked Omma in her mock stern voice.
"Ani, Omma.. Tell her Ha Myung-a!" said Jae Myung, slightly panicking. Their parents never punished them, but Omma did scold them if they didn't eat their food properly.
Ha Myung stuffed his mouth with the entire egg and nodded. He tried to mumble something, only to realise that his mouth was too full to speak.
Jae Myung sniggered as his Omma glared at Ha Myung and told him not to speak with his mouth full.
He sniggered even more as he watched Ha Myung struggle to gulp down the egg yolk. Sometimes he really loved the fact that his dongsaeng was so devoted to him. Ha Myung followed Jae Myung everywhere and copied everything that his Hyung did. He had once complained to Abeoji that he hated how Ha Myung toddled around after him, especially at school, during playtime. Ha Myung had just started going to school then and it annoyed Jae Myung that he had to deal with his dongsaeng who didn't let him play with his friends in peace. Abeoji had simply sat him down and explained that Ha Myung copied him so much, because he loved his Hyung and wanted to be like him. Just the same way he tried to copy Abeoji. That made Jae Myung feel bad about being annoyed. His dongsaeng was pretty cute at times. And he was glad he had a kid brother with whom he could share his toys. A kid sister would have been a disaster. At least he didn't have to play with dolls.
And besides, Ha Myung would always eat his egg yolk. Jae Myung was thankful for that. Even though he had to give up half his chocolates as a bribe. He might be fiv
