When moonlight crawls along the street
Chasing away the summer heat
Footsteps outside somewhere below
The world revolves I let it go
We build our church above this street
We practice love between these sheets
The candy sweetness scent of you
It bathes my skin I'm stained by you
And all I have to do is hold you
There's a racing in my heart
I am barely touching you

She loved days when they had absolutely nothing to do. Days when there were no stories to chase, no emergencies demanding their attention. Days when she could just lie next to him under a blanket and read a book, while he did the same, or watched the television.
She snuggled into one of her big cushions as she turned another page of the crime thriller that she was reading. They were spread out on a sofa--bed in their small den area cordoned off by two full width stairs beside their living room and leading out onto a balcony with big glass sliding doors.
She felt him move as she predictably felt his arm slide around her waist. She smiled as he pulled himself nearer to her, snuggling up against her like a cat. His arm rested comfortably around her waist, under her t-shirt, moving up and down her midriff finally resting below her s, almost teasing her. He nuzzled her neck, placing slow, lazy kisses around her neck and ears.
She hummed, knowing fully what he was up to. She turned her head to face him, and he leaned over to place butterfly kisses on her cheek.
She smiled as she closed her book, bookmarked to be read later as he turned her halfway to face him and kissed her lips leisurely, smiling into the kiss in his own naughty, guilty way.
She turned around in his arms, to face him completely, and put her hands on his face, cupping his cheeks to look into his twinkling eyes.
"Again?"
He smiled as her, mirth mixed with the right amount of naughtiness to melt her heart and make her smile some more.
He ran his hands around her body stopping them at the base of her bra.
"Why do you even wear these things at home?"
She rolled her eyes. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't?"
He simply tugged at her T-shirt over her shoulders, pulling it off and flinging it away, making her laugh all the more. He leaned in and kissed the creamy white flesh, around her bra covered s, halting her laughter instantaneously, and hitching her breath.
Making her want more of his touch. Her eyes instantly darkening with desire.
"So that I can do this, without any barriers stopping me..." he drawled in his smooth chocolaty voice.
She sighed, as he cupped a in his hand, touching her with his thumb, through the material of her bra.
"Mhhmm..good point," she said breath
