Chapter 27

Sora walk out of the house and roamed around the streets, not caring whether or not she was being watched. To be honest, she doesn’t even know what to do. That treasure hunt game. It’s easy for her to gain access into the police headquarters. They wouldn’t want to kill her, they’re just willing to injure her, very badly. She let out deep sigh and looked up in the sky.

It was turning dark and she could sense that it’s going to start raining pretty soon, looking at the dark clouds. It’s already past 6PM. “My life is a complete , isn’t it?” Sora scoffed to herself. She put on her hoodie as it started to drizzle. She looked down on the ground as she continued walking again.

Hyunseung and Dongwoon followed Sora, but they were a few meters behind her so that she wouldn’t notice them following her. “I feel bad for her. Well, I feel bad for all 3 of us.” Dongwoon said, looking at Sora’s back. Hyunseung didn’t answer Dongwoon’s statement and just watched Sora. Both of them were getting wet from the rain but they couldn’t be bothered by the rain. It’s not like the rain can kill them. Maybe lightning can, but looking at the rain, there’s no lightning. Just pure rain drops.

They just continued following Sora.

“Treasure hunt.” Hyunseung suddenly muttered under his breath, remembering what Sora said. “She doesn’t really want to give the files to Yoseob you know.” Dongwoon said softly. “I know. But she doesn’t.” Hyunseung replied, looking at Sora’s back profile.

“So, what are we going to do then?” Dongwoon asked and Hyunseung shook his head lightly, signaling that he doesn’t know either. “2 weeks. It’s almost the end of one week.” Hyunseung said. “Sora!” Dongwoon exclaimed when he saw Sora collapsing on the ground. Both of them ran towards Sora. They’ve been walking and following Sora for almost an hour.

“She’s burning up.” Hyunseung said, feeling her forehead. Sora opened her eyes slightly and saw Hyunseung holding onto her. “Hyunseung-ah.” Sora muttered and Hyunseung hushed her. Dongwoon flagged for a cab. “Get in.” Dongwoon said when he got a cab. Hyunseung carried Sora and all 3 of them entered the cab.

“Please go to the nearest hospital.” Dongwoon said and the driver drove off. Sora started to stir and tried to sit up, since she’s lying down, her head on Hyunseung’s chest. Dongwoon sat at the passenger seat in front. “Sleep.” Hyunseung stopped Sora from moving and Sora looked at Hyunseung. Her face turned pale. “My head hurts.” Sora said softly and bury her face against Hyunseung’s chest, and Hyunseung just caressed her hair gently.

Hyunseung could feel Sora’s warm tears soaking through his already wet shirt. “Sleep.” Hyunseung said softly and Sora didn’t move and just let Hyunseung hold her.

Sora opened her eyes and was greeted by the blinding light. She squinted her eyes and looked around. Realizing that she’s in the hospital, she sat up. “You’ve been sleeping for 2 whole days.” She heard a familiar voice said and she turned to her right. She saw Minseok rubbing his eyes and yawning. “How are you feeling?” He asked, looking at Sora.
