12 young men of brothers are waiting patiently outside the operation room without talking to each other at all. Some are standing leaning against the wall, some are sitting on the provided chairs and some are just walking aimlessly. But each of them are in their deep thought with their mumbling mouths. They are praying, praying for one person inside the operation room. The person that they are neglecting before. The person that they never care and cherish for. The person of one in their family, their brother.

 

It is already 4 hours since Kyuhyun was brought into the room, 30 minutes since their last brother, Hankyung arrived from China. There is a said, we will only cherish something when it is taken away from us. They realizes their fault and now they only hope for one thing. Please give us a second chance to replace all the past. Please give us a time to cherish our brother. 

 

"Who are you guys?" Said a kid around Kyuhyun ages with a tall young man around their age. Everyone look at them with a sorrow eyes.

 

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" Hankyung ask them.

 

"This is my brother, Changmin. I am Yunho." Yunho said from behind Changmin. Changmin just finished receiving his treatment for his injuries a while ago. He didn't need to be hospitalized because his injuries is not very bad, just a scratch on his body. Changmin said he wouldn't want to back home before he see his besfriend. He wants to wait for Kyuhyun, so that's why Yunho accompany him here, in front the operation room.

 

"You must be Kyuhyun bestfriend, Shim Changmin." Donghae said with a rough voice because of crying too much.

 

"Yes I am. But who are you?" Changmin asking back. He never knows if Kyuhyun have so many relatives before.

 

"We are his..brothers." Leeteuk said, gets up from his sit to greet the two newcomer. The others eleven person behind him just lowering their head when Leeteuk said it. Brothers. We are his brothers that hate him before. Are we still his brothers after what have we done to him? 

 

"Brothers? I never knew he had brothers. He never told me he had brothers and 12 of you." Changmin said not believes it. 

 

"We understand why he said that to you. Its.. its a long story." Kangin said even he is a bit shocks for hearing it. But, Kyuhyun have rights to say that though, if he is in Kyuhyun's place, he also do the same. Who want to admit that they have a brother who hate them right? 

 

"So, all of you are really his brothers? Unbelievable. We knew Kyuhyun for 4 years, but not once he told us that." Yunho also have the same expression with Changmin. 

 

"It because we never care about him before. We never admit him as our brother." Eunhyuk said slowly from his sit. A drop of tears fall from his eyes to the floor under him.

 

"What do you mean? Ah, I know. You all must be the person that living with him inside the big mansion.." Changmin said remembering something. "So, that is the reason why he never let me comes. Kyuhyun, my Kyunie. He had a lot of secret." Changmin said crying in his brother hugs.

 

"You all must be the reason why my Kyunie always sad right? I hate you guys!" Changmin shouts suddenly snaps at the young men infront of him.

 

"Minnie-ah. Its not nice to say that! Apologize quickly." Yunho said looking at the younger.

 

"But hyung, they always make Kyunie cry. I don't like to see Kyunie cry." Changmin pout, sulking at his brother. The others just look at the two. If this kid also hate them because Kyuhyun cry, what else about Kyuhyun who cry because of them. 

 

"Kid, we understand why you hate us so much. Even I am hating myself so much. Its okay." Yesung said giving the kid a bitter smile. 

 

"I am sorry for my brother behaviour. They are just so close since 4 years ago. They always had each other, that's why Changmin is a bit protective about Kyuhyun." Yunho said, apologizing for them.

 

"No, its okay. Don't need to apologize Yunho-shi. Besides, we are thankful for Changmin. Thank you for always be there for Kyuhyun. Thank you for be beside him. Thank you for cherish him and makes him happy while we make him cry. I have a lot to thank you for. And mostly, thank you to be his bestfriend. Thank you for everything, Changmin-shi." Leeteuk said sitting on his knee in front Changmin. 

 

Changmin is mad but at the same time he also can't endures his sadness. His bestfriend is inside the room fighting between dead and live. They must pray together for him. Changmin walks slowly to Leeteuk and hug the older. Leeteuk is so shock about the sudden action, same with the others.

 

"I don't need your apologize. Just please don't hurting my Kyunie anymore. I love to see his smiles, to hear his laughs. I miss to be with him, to . Can you pray with me for him? I don't want Kyunie leaves me. I love Kyunie." Changmin hugs Leeteuk tightly and cries on his shoulder. 

 

Leeteuk and the others who heard it also can't keep their tears anymore. They cried together, praying hardly for Kyuhyun. 

 

'Kyunie, please be strong. Yunho hyung said that the more I prays for you, the more strength you got to fight in there. And now, I get more prayers for you Kyunie. Please, be strong. I will waiting for you here. Please..' 

 

 

4 hours of waiting just passing by like that. 5 hours, Six hours and the waiting is entering the seven hours. Changmin had falls asleep in Yunho arms after the non-stop of crying. The kid must be tired will all that been happens on that day. He is with Kyuhyun from the first, he saw how Kyuhyun falls on the rock. He was there when Kyuhyun stop breathing. He must be traumatized throughs all that alone. They just let him sleep peacefully. 

 

Sometimes the door opens, but not from the person that they are waiting for. The doctors and the nurses just running passing after them. They watch the door with full of hopes. Finally the door opens once again from inside.

 

"Any relatives of Cho Kyuhyun?" Call the doctor.

 

"Us!" All of them said immediately rush to the young woman doctor.

 

"We are his brothers." Leeteuk said. Finally, their waiting is ending. The beating in their heart is so fast. Please say something good. Changmin who wakes up by the sudden loud also get up from his sit run to the doctor.

 

"My bestfriend is fine right doctor? You've save him right?" Changmin ask, can't waits anymore. 

 

"Yes, we have save him but.." They feel really relief in their heart. But their smile lost when the doctor continue on her words.

 

"Kyuhyun-shi still unstable. He had falls in coma statue. We had fix his broken bones and ribs but he lost a lot of blood earlier. We are afraid if he can't live throught this night. Be patient and don't lost hope." The doctor said leaving them standing there.

 

Donghae hugs Eunhyuk, crying their tears together. Ryeowook falls in Yesung arms. Sungmin is hugging his twin, Shindong while Heechul cries on Hankyung shoulder. Kangin pats Leeteuk back softly who already falls on the floor. Siwon just standing beside Kibum who leaning on the wall. 

 

"No!! My Kyunie will not leave me! My Kyunie will live throught this night. Kyunie always said that miracle is exist. Kyu-ah, please don't leave me!" Yunho rush to calm his brother who crying while knocking on the door. It is so hard for Changmin and the others. Changmin a 14 years old kid who still didn't know much about the dead, about the leaving forever. Changmin reactions reminds them about their own condition 14 years ago. They cry, they hurt. They feel the pain when someone who they love, leave them forever. And today, the brothers feel it again. But the different is this time, it also have the feeling of guiltiness. 

 

The night.

 

None of the brothers had back home yet. They didn't dare to leave the hospital. They don't want to live Kyuhyun. Changmin was taking back home earlier by Yunho after he keeps screaming and falls unconcious. The kid need to rest. 

 

They are now in Kyuhyun's room. Kyuhyun had moved here earlier from the operation room. The doctor said that Kyuhyun condition is worsen and if he is still not stable till this morning, they can't do anything else anymore. The brothers lost their words. Only the sound of crying can be heard inside the room. 

 

Leeteuk is holding on Kyuhyun's hand softly. For the first time in his life, he touch Kyuhyun. He looks at Kyuhyun with teary eyes. Kyuhyun looks so calm even there is a lot of wires around him. It must be hurt, right Kyuhyun. It is like a dejavu for Leeteuk. 14 years ago, in the same hospital he also get in this scene. His umma is leaving him. The day when Kyuhyun was born. And today, he feels it again. But this Kyuhyun is closing his eyes, this Kyuhyun don't look at him, this Kyuhyun don't talk to him and this Kyuhyun will leaves him. 

 

"Kyuhyun-ah. Please wakes up. I am sorry Kyuhyun-ah. Hyung is sorry." Leeteuk cry with his shaking body. He cries so hard like he didn't have a time to catch his breath at all.

 

"Hyung, calm down." Yesung hugs his older brother from behind, tightly.

 

"Hyukkie, is it true that miracle is exist?" Donghae ask Eunhyuk between his sobs.

 

"Miracle is exist Hae. It will comes to Kyuhyun." Eunhyuk said smiles softly to Donghae.

 

"Why this happens in our life?" Sungmin mutters.

 

"To make us realize about the important of someone in our life." Siwon said looking deeply to the lying kid on the bed.

 

"Why in this way? Why not making us realize in another way Wonnie? Why in this way??" Sungmin ask again wiping his tears with his back hand.

 

"Because we are too fool." Heechul said slowly after a long silent.

 

Kibum get up from his chair near the window. He keep looking at the outside of the window since they get in this room. He walks to the door and stop while grabbing the knob of the door. 

 

"Anyone want a drink? I am going out for a while." He said flatly without looking at the others behind him. Everyone just keep silent, looking at younger sadly. Kibum open the door and close it behind him slowly. He walks to the nearest toilet with his lowering head. They knows Kibum need a time for himself.

 

 

"Ahjumma! Ahjumma!" Shouts a little boy that running to the kitchen. The boy still in his uniform and holding a white paper on his hand. Kibum is on his way to the kitchen to take some snacks and water before he continue his games. Kibum is skipping the school today because he is not so well in the morning. 

 

"Ahjumma! Look at this!! I've got the first in my class and the first in my grade!" The boy jumps happily around the kitchen after handed the paper to the ahjumma. Kibum is standing beside the wall, watching it secretly. 

 

"Oh Kyuhyun! You're such a smart boy! I'm proud of you." The ahjumma hugs the happy boy and kiss his forehead. 

 

"Ahjumma, the teacher want to meet my parent. We have an excellence day tomorrow. Can you come as my parent? Because when I ask the teacher, what if I don't have a parent and can I bring you, the teacher said okay. Can you come?" Kyuhyun said excitedly. He really hopes that the ahjumma can come. He also want someone to see him when he is walking on the stage.

 

"Please. All my friends said their parents will come. They said they will ask their parents to shout for them and taking their pictures while they are on stage. I don't ask you to shout and takes my picture, I just want you to come. To see me." Kyuhyun said again after he look that the ahjumma is hesitated. But then the ahjumma smiles at him.

 

"Of course Kyuhyun. I will come." 

 

"Yeay, thanks you ahjumma! I love you." The happy boy jump to hug the ahjumma and kiss her cheeks before dashing off to his room not noticing Kibum who is standing behind the wall.

 

"Poor you Kyuhyun. You have a brother but they don't admit you. You lost your parent since you were born. Why life such a cruel for you Kyuhyun." The ahjumma mumbles softly before continue her works on the kitchen. Kibum who just heard everything walks back to his room slowly, thinking hard in his deep mind.

 

Kibum was his face with the cool water. He looks at himself inside the big mirror. He looks deep on his own reflection. 

 

"You're such a coward person. Cho Kibum, you are such a coward brother." Kibum sigh and wash his face once again. That is the moment when the tears fall fastly on his cheeks without he can keep it again. Kibum curling himself on one of the toilet, hugging his own body, cries his heart out silently, alone.
