Old Tattered Shoes

“Be each other’s company” you listened to Justin bieber’s smooth voice singing through your ear buds “pft be each other’s company” you mumbled out the lyrics to your self in an annoyed manner. Today was your first day in a new school and it wasn’t exactly starting of in the right foot. Earlier your little annoying sister spilled orange juice all over your new white shoes you were planning to wear, so now your wearing your old tattered shoes. As if things couldn’t get worse your stepfather made you walk to school, to “get healthy”. I mean sure you love walking, but your house was blocks and blocks away from your school and to make matters worse your shoes are old and tattered.

The ringing of the bell was heard as you entered the schoolyard. “Late on the first day.. GREAT” things weren’t going your way but you were ready to give it your best shot. “179” you mumbled under your breath as you reached your new classroom. “Every one this is Y/N please be nice to her” the teacher said. Some of the students gave an enthusiastic wave and hi’s as a reply but most of them were just un-interested. “Y/N you can go grab a seat in the back there” the teacher spoke pointing to the back where a group of guys were recklessly laughing and an empty seat was present, beside this white/blondish haired guy. You made your way to the back “hi” you spoke your voice coming out tinier than expected the group of guys glanced at you some of them started laughing
