January 14th was just a typical day to go to work for her. Or so she thought.

On this day, Yoon Shinae meets him for the first time. Kim Jongin.

But little did she know how wrong she was with that.

The person she had bump into stopped what he had been saying when he noticed who she was. His neighbor in their floor, obviously. 

Shinae looked up at the said person, a lanky boy with sun-kissed complexion, she thought she never even once saw in their apartment building. 

Never in her life had she known him, but she feels this slight attraction towards him despite this day being their first time meeting. It was weird, but her heart pounded as fast as the bullet train, and her cheeks burned as hot as fire the moment she realized that he was staring back at her. That’s when she opted herself to snap out.

“I-I… I’m Yoon. Shin. Ae.” She blurts out, not having control with her tongue that had a mind of its own at the moment, and then holds out her hand to the beautiful stranger.

The boy gulps just as he sees her initiating this kind of introduction after days. He didn’t even have any idea that this will sort of happen. Ever. But the way she actually did, he couldn’t deny how happy she made him today. So, though he was feeling kind of nervous in front of her, he bravely reached out his hand to her and smiled when he finally felt the warmness of her hand spreading to him.

“I’m Kim Jongin.” He utters out, emphasizing his name. 

This is purely a work of fiction, so please take it with an open mind.

It's my second time writing a one shot. I made it because I've been feeling low these past few days and the idea just kept coming and I couldn't ignore it because it's not a good idea to... or else I'm not going to be able to progress with my on going fic. T^T

I'm just inspired by the many angst story I've read and that last movie I've watched.
