Hair
The Collection“Don’t move, I don’t want to burn you.”
Jongw-Yesung had made it his job to make sure that Ryeowook’s hair would be straightened every morning before he went to school. At first Ryeowook thought that it was a one time thing, but as a weeks went by Yesung would be in the bathroom waiting for him, straightener ready, and he would straighten the younger's hair.
Yesung would talk to him randomly, asking about how his day went yesterday, asking if anyone was bothering him at school (the hyungs would take care of any problems he had), if the scary man by the bus stop was still there, and if he needed someone to go down to the bus stop with him, to protect him of course.
Every time Ryeowook would answer in short sentences, if he getting bothered at school he’d never tell his hyungs anyway (He didn’t want the poor soul maimed).
When Yesung would finish, Ryeowook would put the straighter away, and say thank you.
Yesung would laugh at him and tell him that he didn’t need a thanks for something as simple as this.
The next day as Yesung straightened his hair, he spoke words that made Ryeowook think for the rest of the day.
“Ten years from now, when you have your anniversary, you’ll tell everyone this won’t you Ryeowookie?”
