You shut the door of your room and jumped onto the bed, face planted on your pillow as you screamed as loud as you could, letting all the stress go out of your brain.

How could he say that? Okay, he did it to motivate you to get better grades, but hello?? Couldn't he just give you a compliment instead of a mockery? Something like 'good job' would be much easier than 'how about the other grades' would it not?

He is your father, after all, isn't it normal for parents to praise their children when they did something proudful?

You sighed as you finally calmed down and took your phone that was buzzing. It was your boyfriend, JB, calling.

"Hello," you picked up. Thanks to the few tears that were shed, your voice sounded weird.

"You okay? Your voice sounds weird." JB asked with concern.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just a cold, that's all." You had to lie a little, "anyway, what's wrong?"

JB smiled, "Well I was wondering whether I could go to your house later, maybe a movie night?"

"Sounds great," You grinned. "My parents are out going on a date anyway. I'll see you at 8?"

"See you then. Love you, bye."

"Love you too," and then you hung up. Even when JB didn't know you were having a small problem, he always makes you smile.

Apparantly, JB decided to come early to greet your parents because he felt it would be rude to come while they're away. So there JB was, standing behind you and while waiting for your parents to go on their date.

"Kids, I made some lasagna. So eat it while they're still warm, okay?" Your mom said while she bent down to put on her shoes.

"I got it, mom. Besides, you didn't have to cook. We could just order pizza or something." You said.

Your mom tsk-ed. "Eating pizza all the time isn't healthy, you know."

"Alright, alright, honey, just leave them alone. They can take care of themselves already." Your father said as he guided your mom to the car. "Oh, and please, Jaebum, just in case, use safety."
