A week passed by the blink of eyes, or it felt more like a flashing dream for me. I still remembered how I got to hold him on my arm, sliding my hand on his waist as we walk through the path we were taking after the date. Even though I ruined everything that day I still felt so happy for it. At least what I had been dreaming for actually happened in one day of reality.

We walk side by side to remove Jeongmin’s make up and going home afterwards. I was so thankful toward my friends who gave me this chance to experience my first date and might be my last date with the gorgeous person beside me. It would be the prettiest thing that I would cherish for the rest of my life.

“Thank you for your hard work.” Jeongmin thanked the stylists who helped him with his make up today and joined me who was waiting on the couch.

“Hyung, I feel sleepy. Let’s head home.” He said as messed up his hair which already went all over the direction.

I tidied his hair with my hands and patted his head lightly, “Come, our beds are already waiting.”

We chatted for the rest of the walk to our dorm. It was near the subway to the south, so it wouldn’t be a long walk for us. However-

“Hyung, I can’t feel my leg. How far do we need to walk? I can’t take it any longer.” He whined and leaned on my shoulder, wrapping his arms over my neck like a koala. Yeah, it might sound creepy, but I like it when he touched me. Even the smallest skinship that he did had the ability to make my heart to pound hard inside my ribcages.

I smiled bitterly as I know how it would end. From now on I couldn’t give him a kiss on the forehead like I used to do for the past few days. We even only did all of those things just because of a bet. It was for the sake of a bet that I could do all of those things to him.

If it was out of conscience, he might already slap me flat on the face. LOL, what a truth!

His hands still lingered on my neck as I offered, “Want a piggy back ride home?”

Jeongmin smirked that I knew that it was what he actually wanted from the start, “Okay, I accept your kind offer.” He smiled from ear to ear as he jumped on my back.

I better cherished everything that happened tonight as I didn’t know when I could have such opportunity to be his companion. His limbs were lingering on my back and I could feel his soft breathing beside my ear as he spoke softly, “Hyung, if you feel that I’m too heavy you can put me down”.

I smiled and shook my head, “Nope. You might be heavy but I am more than strong to have you on my back.” I answered then adjusted his position on my back.

He chuckled to hear the answer from my mouth. It was a rare occasion to see me to be over confident. I didn’t know when I would get the chance to act cocky in front of him.

They already walked for several minutes, or it was Hyunseong who walked while carrying Jeongmin on his back to be exact. Jeongmin wasn’t light in weight, and Hyunseong was willing to piggyback him to their dorm without any objection. It made him at least had this kind of thinking that actually- “Hyung, if I don’t know any better I would think that you like me for real.” Jeongmin said quietly, leaning on the warm shoulder that made him less alarmed and felt at ease.

Hyunseong turned stiff in a moment before he kept his feet to step up on the hard paved road. He didn’t deny nor clarified what Jeongmin had said, just adjusted the body behind his back and sighed, looking ahead to the dark alley which might be hiding secrets just like his heart.

“Jeongmin, are you drunk?” Hyunseong couldn’t help but to throw a lame joke to avoid the topic, and it was success since he heard Jeongmin chuckled softly.

“That’s why I said if I don’t know you any better. And because I have known you for years now I think it is just because you are purely kind. Too kind that it makes me worried sometimes.” Jeongmin said, his voice passed Hyunseong’s nape.

“Oh, I just acknowledge that I have the qualification to be worried by you.” Hyunseong said half serious.

Jeongmin couldn’t help but chuckle softly. His hyung is someone who would throw some lame jokes when they started to talk something serious or when he thought that he needed to avoid the subject. Seemed like right now he didn’t want to talk about what was inside his heart, so usually Jeongmin would be just playing along his rythm. However, he didn’t know why but today he just wanted to press the button inside Hyunseong’s heart.

“Hyung, you said you haven’t had any girlfriend. Was boyfriend also included?”

Badum.. Badum..

Did he cross the line?

“What do you want to imply?” Hyunseong asked, dropping Jeongmin on the ground. When he turned to face the younger guy, his eyes were dark and dim.

“I mean…” Jeongmin quickly bowed his head as he couldn’t bear to look into Hyunseong’s piercing eyes.

“Huh!” Hyunseong snorted as he grabbed Jeongmin’s chin to meet his eyes. Somehow, Jeongmin felt his heart beat raced. Even though he knew that they were often mentioned as a pair by their fans, but Hyunseong never really made a move on him.

“So, you said that you know me better. You should have known the answer, am I right?”

The alarm inside Jeongmin blared loudly yet he didn’t make a single move to defend himself when fingers trailed on his rosy cheek.

Hyunseong’s smile grew wider and with a sigh he tapped Jeongmin’s cheeks.

“I’m sorry. Did I scare you?”

Blinking his eyes twice, Jeongmin pushed Hyunseong away.

“That’s not funny. I know you never have any girlfriend or boyfriend before. Even your lips are still .” He grumbled, puffing his cheeks.

“How could you be so sure? Just because I didn’t have any lover doesn’t mean I still have my first kiss.” Hyunseong chuckled.

“You already have?”

“I’m already this old. Why can’t I have one?” It wasn’t actually an answer, Jeongmin knew that.

“Do you feel miserable because at this age you still have your first kiss?” Jeongmin threw another question.

“What if I say yes?”

Silence

Jeongmin didn’t sure why he needed to bring up the topic of first kiss when he knew Hyunseong didn’t have any experience with dating.

“Jeongmin-ah, I want you to have it.”

Another silence hovering and this time Jeongmin had a blank expression on his face.

When there was nothing coming out from Jeongmin’s mouth, Hyunseong let out a miserable laugh.

“Sorry, I might be drunk.”

“But you didn’t drink liquor.”

“So, maybe some ghosts had possessed me a moment ago.”

“And you are sober now?”

Hyunseong lowered his head, “I’m sorry.” He said softly.

He stopped on his track when he felt Jeongmin wasn’t beside him, yet the younger guy has been standing behind him and tugging on his sleeve.

“So, what if I say yes.”

“What?”

“I give you a minute.” Jeongmin closed his eyes and blushed madly until his ears.

Hyunseong almost popped out his eyes when he saw that. A minute?

“Hey, wait. A minute, that’s…”

“It’s only half a minute now.”

Hyunseong smiled from ear to ear and couldn’t help but to laugh. Jeongmin’s face was too cute right at that moment.

When there was no movement and only a muffled laugh Jeongmin opened his eyes. Hyunseong was there smiling like a fool.

“Your one minute is over.” Jeongmin said when Hyunseong placing his palms on his cheeks, cupping his face.

It couldn’t be a warning as Hyunseong brought that smaller face forward and captured the red cherry lips into his own.

How could everything turned out to be like this? Hyunseong didn’t want to think about it.

All he wanted to do right at that moment was nibbling those sweet lips rewarded to him, kissing away the freezing wind that passed them all the night they walked in this road.

When the time they were parting, a smile escaped from Hyunseong’s lips. He looked at the panting Jeongmin who looked at him in confusion, his swollen lips parted, trying to catch his breath.

Hyunseong squatted in front of Jeongmin, patting his back; signaling the younger guy to hop up on his back.

“I’ll carry you until we arrive at the dorm.” He said smoothly, face as red as tomato.

The younger guy then obediently hopped on his back, circling his hands on Hyunseong’s shoulder.

“Just think of it as my reward for you as a friend.” Jeongmin said, hiding his face on the crook of Hyunseong’s neck.

“Thank you then. Now I have no regret even if I have to die.”

He could feel the younger snorted on his comment and let out a heavy breath.

“Let’s be friends until the end.”

“Of course we are.”

“How about the list?” Jeongmin asked quietly, feeling a little drowsy all of sudden.

“The ‘go on a date’ is the last thing on the list. Why?” Hyunseong curiously asked, because he thought Jeongmin also knew about what there on the list.

“Nothing.”

The two knew the exact situation which they were in right now. They needed to control their selves and buried their selfishness deep down in their hearts. Maybe because they had known each other for so long that they began to share the same thought, even the same feelings. However, the feeling is something dangerous which could destroy everything that they’d been built over the years. So it was better to make it hidden, away from people’s eyes and attention.
