Prologue

Baby, Don't Cry

Luhan would be lying if he said that he knew nothing was wrong.

In fact he had been lying for so long now that he didn’t know where the lie started and the truth ended.

Everyone said that he wasn’t looking well, that he needed to settle down, to rest properly, and only do one thing at time.

But it was never going to work like that.

Luhan wasn’t one to let people down and the EXO Planet Tour was a dream that he had and needed to do. He had made a promise to so many people that he would do it and there was no way that he wasn’t going to fulfil it.

Plus he had to be there for Kris’s sake so that he could tell him all about it when they next went to visit their missing brother, share all of the experiences that they had gone through and talk excitedly about how crazy it would have been to have him standing there, sharing it all with them and smiling that goofy smile.

If only the headaches would stop and just give him a night to relax and recover.

If only he could take a few days off to get a majority of the filming out of the way, then everything would be perfectly fine and he’d be free of this pain. Free of the gnawing feeling at his heart and lift the exhaustion. But neither SM nor the production company could give him that time off in the slightest and it was starting to get to him really bad.

So much so that when he was carried to the bed to be gently and calmly laid down upon it, Luhan barely registered anything that was going on around him. He missed the soft words that were spoken to him, missed the gentle caress to his face and the soft sigh before a kiss was placed delicately onto his cheek.

Luhan felt as though things were quiet now that it was okay to just let it go.

For a few seconds he didn’t quite know what it was that he wanted to let go but he knew that he had to and that the darkness would embrace him and just make things a little easier.

So he wasn’t too surprised when he heard a voice sadly say, “Oh Luhan…why you?”

Because Luhan knew who that voice belonged to and knew what it meant.

For the first time in what felt like forever, Luhan finally felt weightless even if it meant that he could no longer be with those he loved to perform with anymore.

“You came for me…Yifan…”

Chapter 7: I like how instead of visiting their grave, they're visiting or doing something that the ones that had left liked to do. It's like they're still remembering the other members but at the same time gave them a chance of a break in their hectic schedule, kinda like a 2-in-1 package, because every cloud has a silver lining so maybe this is their silver lining.

Overall, this was a great story and a nice chapter. Love it so so much! :3

Chapter 6: Wasn't really expecting you to actually take my comment seriously but I'm happy you did. Luhan is just an adorable deer here. :3
Like always, you make me have bittersweet feelings for this story and I dread for when the story will be over...
Nonetheless, author-nim fighting!

P/S: you forget the 61 in my username.

Chapter 4: Chapter4: I have a feeling Luhan didn't need all the signs. He just followed Tao and Baekhyun, sort of guarding them as they walked back before going back to the original plan of visiting them one last time.
It's a sweet chapter, can't wait for the rest. :)

Chapter 3: When I saw that you updated, I thought I was ready.
When I saw chapter 3, I thought I can go through this.
When I saw Kim Minseok hugging Luhan.....

Authornim, I can't seem to want to hug you for sharing this sad but beautiful series or kill you for making these heart wrenching moments. D''''''''''''X
Now I'll excuse myself to hide under the safety of my blanket and cry my emotions out, happy that THIS didn't happen in real life.
