The colours are fuzzy when Hoseok opens his eyes - like they always are. He’s walked into this dreamscape more times than he's willing to admit - and it’s always the same. The creamy glow that seems to linger around the cherry-blossom trees for god-knows-what reason - the perfect compliment to the cream of her skin as she interlinks her fingers with his. 

“What do you want to do today?” 

He always asks her the same question. She calls the shots, makes the decision.

“Let’s just walk. I like being together with you”

Her reply never changes - I just want to be with you.

“Okay” 

Hoseok aways agrees. Slowly leading her down the grassy path, cherry blossom trees framing the picturesque scene. And for one lingering moment, Hoseok let’s himself believe that it’s real and that she’s still here by his side.

For just one more day.
