Little angels.
A newly formed family.“Do we really need to do it appa Kyu?” Hyun-Su whined while he walked behind Kyuhyun and Sun-Hee, the older carrying a large basket with dirty clothes while the girl carried their dirty stuffed toys.
“Yes, we only do it twice a year so don’t complain baby” Kyuhyun chuckled, hearing his son’s groan.
“But, but, Sun-Hee and I wanted to play videogames!” He whined again, but at least helped his sister to place the stuffed toys in the washing machine.
“That’s true appa! We want to beat a level!” Sun Hee finally joined the complaints, looking at his father with an adorable pout.
“You will beat it after we finished, there is no discussion in that and don’t make me call Siwon.” He threatened, he still found funny how they feared Siwon getting mad at them, maybe it was because they saw him as such a good father they didn’t want to make him feel upset.
“No! Don’t call appa Won! We will help” Hyun Su said, tugging Kyuhyun’s shirt.
“Fine. I’ll let it go for now.”
It wasn’t even something hard, Siwon and Kyuhyun liked to clean the small room next to the garage that had old things they decided to preserve at some point, but that maybe now weren’t useful or had the same meaning anymore. The boxes had clothes, toys, photographs and even some articles that talked about Super Junior, their children weren’t too keen on checking all of that and got distracted pretty easily, Kyuhyun always ended up doing everything while they ran around.
“Okay, let’s go” He said, holding their hands and guiding them to there, switching the light on and scrunching his nose a little at the dust flying around “Leave the door open Hee, we need to get rid of this dust.”
The girl nodded, opening it completely and moving his hands around as if she wanted to push the dust out of the room while Hyun Su moved to open a box and rummage through its contents.
Kyuhyun loved having his kids around, the days were he liked keeping the whole house in silence while he wrote his lyrics were long forgotten, silence was something that disappeared since day one they arrived and it was surprising for the singer to realise he loved the noise, he felt unease when there was silence because that could mean they were sick and he hated those times.
“Appa Kyu, what’s this?” Kyuhyun looked down at his son when he heard him, seeing him holding a black album.
“Those are photos, from when we were still active and other things” He smiled, returning to the box.
“Can we take a look?” Sun Hee asked, walking to her brother and opening the album “Is that really appa Won?”
Kyuhyun needed to look down again when he heard his kids laughing almost uncontrollably, finding them sitting on the floor and laughing at something in the album. Letting curiosity take the best of him, he sat down between them, making them sit with their upper bodies resting on him, having the album on his hands “Ah, I remember this, was one our concerts and yes, that’s your father wearing a horse costume.”
The kids laughed again, pointing at the several photos of they and their uncles wearing such stupid costumes, but that gave countless of good times and precious moments they treasured inside their minds forever. Soon the cleaning idea was forgotten while the kids started to ask and give their opinions about the pictures Kyuhyun was showing slowly to them, starting with the ones of the concerts and soon reaching photos of Kyuhyun, Siwon and the two kids only, their family.
“That’s when Hyun Su learned how to walk” Kyuhyun pointed at the photo of the waddling boy.
“Who learnt first?” Hyun Su asked.
“Sun Hee, but you were the one who talked first” Kyuhyun smiled “When you said your first word, Sun Hee learned how to stand.”
“We’re even then” Sun Hee pouted, looking at his brother who copied his pout and nodded.
“Why you decided to have us, appa?” Hyun Su asked, looking from the photos to Kyuhyun.
“Because Siwon and I felt we wanted to have a complete family with babies, you two were a blessing.” He hummed, caressing their heads “I have some clothes from when you were small.” He said, twisting to reach a box behind him without standing up, his movement lifting his shirt a little and dragging the attention of his daughter.
“Appa Kyu, you’re hurt!”
He gasped when he heard her, moving back to see and pulling his shirt down, knowing perfectly what she meant, but not really wanting to talk about it.
“I’m okay baby girl, you don’t have to
