so... it's been awhile... i think it's pretty obvious that bts fanfiction, especially ones with oc & reader characters, are pretty dead here. i've found amazing fics on ao3 and tumblr, and tbh back in 2019 i was excited to revive this thread and start recommending them here. but i'm unsure if anyone will actually see it- this site overall seems like it's dying. i've been thinking of retiring this thread, as much as it saddens me.

however!! if there is still someone reading this that is still looking for some good fics, i have recently started a tumblr where i reblog or post tumblr & ao3 fics that i love. if you don't mind the different platform, consider checking it out? i have a bunch of genres on there but my tastes have gotten a bit... darker over the years so if you do check it out, take note of any warnings on any fics! but like i said, i reblog a bunch of different genres over there.

it's been a crazy seven years. i truly love this thread, updating it was so fun to me and i'll always cherish the memories. i don't know if i'll for sure retire this thread, i'm still on aff for applyfics so if there's a random renaissance for bts fics on here, i might just update again- but for now, i think i'll just leave it as an archive.

i do have one last fic rec before i go, the lily of adversity by gilibean. it's bts & oc and it's absolutely a masterpiece, i can't believe i can read it for free!

edit i was thinking about completely starting fresh, taking down all of these chapters and making a single chapter with them all listed instead (sepereating them into dead, completed, or ongoing) like a masterlist of sorts. and then new chapters would be fic recs from tumblr or ao3 or even here, if i can find one. but like i said, i'm not sure if there is an audience for this thread anymore. let me know if you're still here and you'd like to see that? until then-

O m GGg I am so happy for finding this ! I've read most of the fics you recommended and omg yasssss (excuse me for not subscribing earlier) And gosh, it's just as you say, it's hard to find really good Bts/Oc fics these days T T Like, there are heaps of good fics but those good oc fics are hard to find (or maybe it's just me cause I'm picky af LOL)

Anyway, moving on from my rambling - I also have a fic to recommend because, I have to say, I am pure trash for this fic. Like, I log on everyday just to check if she updated. It's pretty new so there aren't that many chapters yet but dw, they are pretty long so it's like having two chapters in one.
