On the morning of October 8, 2015, the body of two males were discovered in the general vicinity between an undisclosed residential apartment complex and gas station. The bodies were said to have been discovered a small distance from one another. Although there has been no disclosed news of a cause of death yet, authorities have confirmed that this is being considered and investigated as a case of homicide. The community as a whole appears to be on edge in light of the string of murders that began to occur roughly four months prior, the victims all stabbed fatally in the abdomen and alternating between being male and female. There has yet to be any official statement of connection between the individual cases, however the alternating gender pattern and cause of deaths have led many to draw their own conclusions. The discovery of two victims has stirred up a good bit of alarm since all the previous victims have only shown up individually on separate nights.

With the string of murders that are well on track to becoming a giant pile of cold cases with the local police force, the authorities are beginning to get desperate. One detective, fallen from grace and currently on suspension, had suggested the formation of a special investigation squad compromised of other criminals pulled from prison that would assist in capturing the killer for reduced sentences. The controversial idea was overall not received well, most simply dismissing it as an overall bad idea. After all, a monster on a leash is still a monster. There was no way of guaranteeing that any one of the ciminals would not attack the moment a back was turned. The newest murders however proved to be a gamechanger. While it was reported that there were two victims discovered on site, the fact that the second victim was an off-duty officer assigned to the murder cases was undisclosed. Moreover, the officer also happened to be the father and husband to none other than the Chief of Police's beloved daughter and only grandson. As if this particular string of murders was not already pressing enough it had now, quite literally, become personal.
Senior detective Oh Sang Joong was approached personally by the Chief of Police and asked a very simple question. Could a mad dog lead a pack of mongrels to catch the one responsible for him having to bury his son-in-law? Sang Joong claimed he could, but only with certain criminals. He relayed a hand chosen list of wild dogs for the job and promised that his pack of "mongrels" would drag the killer back. Dead or alive.

Yes I know I have another story I need to focus on but this idea came and slapped me in the face right around the same time I decided on a deadline for my other story, Of Desirable Damnations and refused to leave me be until I organized my thoughts and ideas into something more cohesive. I mostly got inspired from the 2014 kdrama "Bad Guys" and other various crime dramas/television shows. I've never finished the aforementioned drama, so beyond the general gist and opening circumstance is me just kinda winging it. Anyways, thanks for showing interest enough to have gotten this far, and hopefully I won't end up disappointing with this! I am not sure how quickly or active I will be able to be on this story, but I will definitely be writing for this. All quotes below are taken directly from the drama.
