Kris' POV 

"Kris, you are aware that today is your last day, right?" Key raised an eyebrow

"Yes, I'm very aware of that" I said

"Oh, plus I heard about your relationship with your target." The king said as he rest his head on his fist. The other EXO members looked at me in surprised except for Sehun 

"Ouu.. Did he fall for a human?" Suho cooed

"Aishh! Don't talk about that" I yelled

"Kris, come to my room. I have something to talk about with you" Key said as he stood up and lead me to his room. As I walked farther away from the throne, I heard all the EXO members talking about who my target was and why she meant so much to me. 

As I made it to the king's room, he sat down on his chair trying to find something from his library.

"Uh.. What are you looking for? I asked curiously 

"Ah! Here it is.." He said and Layed a book on his desk

"Hm? What is that?" I asked 

"Your situation.. I've experienced this before" key said

"W-what??" I asked surprised, no litterally, I am surprised! He doesn't look like he's the type to be in relationship.

"Back when I was a werewolf [hunter], I was in the same situation." He said as his sadness was shown in his eyes

"Key— I mean, king. Tell me more" I said as I punched the desk 

"... I loved her and she loved me. I had to do my mission. The previous king I had didn't allow it. I used up all the days till the last hour before it struck midnight. She was asleep, leaving me a note. She knew I was a werewolf, she allowed me finish my mission, and so I did it. I was depressed and regretted what I've done. I should've let her stay while I'll be blocked for 30 days." He said as his voice starts to crack

"King.. I didn't know you had such a story.." I said trying to company him

"But I think, there might be a chance that she might stay without you being blocked" he looked at me with hope

What is it? Is there really something for me and Jessica?

"I'm not sure.. But if both your love is strong enough, then I'm sure both of you will be together like how you two are now." He said as he covered his mouth with his two hands together

Jessica's POV

It's 4:30 p.m. 

I'm so tried! I don't know why, I had a 12 hour sleep but I'm suddenly so tired.. It doesn't hurt to take a nap till 7 does it? And so, I took a nap. 

While I was asleep in my nap, I felt something on my waist, it was warm and big, I placed my hand there and found out it was someone's hand. My eyes stirred as my eyes become widely awake. I found Kris laying on the bed in front of me. He smirked which I found that "y". 

"K-Kris! Why're you here so early??" I asked

"You call this early?" He sat up and raised his eyebrows, I looked at my phone and it was 9:08

"Oh crap! I overslept!" I yelped 

"It's ok Jess." He smiled

"So.. What do you want? You asked Sehun to meet you here" he asked 

"Well.. I found out about why you didn't answer" I said 

"I'm aware of it. I saw at the library" he said

"Kris.. I.. I wanna tell you something" I said with my hands on my lap

"hm?" He asked

"About your mission.. I'll let you finish it" I said. He gasped as he grabbed my hand

"Jess.. Look, I don't want you to do that. I mean, I can be blocked for 30 days! It's not that big of a deal, after the days up, I can come back to see you!" He faked a smile

"Kris. After 30 days, I will forget you and lose my memories of us." I said coldly

"You really knew.. You basically knew almost everything about me and my world." He said quietly

"Look, I'll let you finish your mission, right now" I ordered

"There some things I want to do with you first" he smirked

"What is that?" I asked

"I wanna go to the roller skating rank" he said

We went to the rank and skated. We totally forgot about the time and what our situation was. I had trouble skating for a couple of minutes until he helped me. He won some prizes for me and we even ate some good food. Until then, we went to the outdoor rank where no one were at because of the disco party inside. 

"I had so much fun" Kris chuckled

"same here" I agreed, I checked the time on my phone, it was 11:43. Oh my god! Did time really go that fast??

"Is something the matter?" He raised an eyebrow

"Kris.." I said as I made his body face me, his face looked confused until I kissed his lips. His face seemed shocked 

Kris' POV

I was shocked that she kissed me. But no! That means that she is gonna dissappear!! I looked at her as I tried to pull away but she quickly said something 

"Don't stop.. It's gonna be our last time, enjoy just this one kiss" she said and pulled out lips back together. I heard her words and decided to do just as she said. We took the kiss even deeper and was able to say the three words to her.

"I Love You.." 

She smiled but just as I said that, she started to disappear slowly. 

"Jessica!" I said loudly 

"It's ok. I love you too" Jessica smiled and disappear with the dust

Jessica's POV

I was asleep on something comfortable. But somehow.. I just remembered... Didn't I disappear??! I woke up forcing my sleepy eyes to open, I was alive like how I was yesterday. I'm really confuse?.. Why am I still alive as Jessica Sooyeon? Shouldn't I be a new person since Kris finished his mission?

"Goodmorning babe" a voice called over, I turned around seeing Kris near the door

"K-Kris! Do you know why I'm still alive??" I asjed

"Sica... Should I tell you?" He asked as I nodded

"I love you" he chuckled 

"What?? What's that suppose to mean?!?!" I asked

*FLASHBACK IN KRIS' MEMORY FROM EARLIER*

"Kris! You're not blocked!" Sehun gasped

"Ofcourse I wasn't.... I finished my mission." Kris said sadly

"Hyung.. Why'd you do that to someone you loved so much?" Sehun asked in curiousity

"It wasn't me, she forced it and now she—"

"Is still alive" key finished his sentence

"WHAT??" Sehun and Kris gasped

"Kris, I'm afraid that... Both of you are meant to be. You and Jessica." Key smiled

"Omo! Kris and Jessica are a real couple now!!" Sehun clapped 

"I'm surprised Kris. You've really impressed me. You were that cold quiet person and now you're a loving person" the King teased

"Ya! I didn't change! But enough about me, what about you and Krystal??" I asked

"...We aren't gonna go to that status yet. Beside, as long as she isn't my target, it's all good" Sehun answered happily

"Kris.. Aren't you gonna go see Jessica right now? She's sleeping atm." The King said and Kris nodded and headed off.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"It's nothing you need to know" Kris smiled and brushed out a laugh

"Ya!! Tell me!!" I yelled as he kept joking and teasing.

"You seriously don't need to know! You just gotta know that I really love you!" He yelled and kissed my lips. 

I love him too.
