§Angelic Devil§ Writing Contest — ENDEDSo far, three people have signed up for this contest and I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much, loves.
So for those who have already received notification that their claim has been accepted, please go right ahead and start writing; there's no need to wait for the official Creating Period to begin. I just have a few conditions that I don't think I've touched upon in the Foreword. I have started planning out how to judge the stories and these conditions will contribute to that. Here we go.
First, please make sure to e-mail me the title you decide on for your story. Your title itself will be "graded" persay. I have seen far too many fanfics where the title doesn't match the story, and that is something that bothers me to no end. You will be able to change your title at any given time, just as long as you tell me.
Second, when you are creating the cover page for your story, make sure to add the tag "angelicdevil". It will help specify the story and organize them all.
Third, also when you are creating the cover page of your story, please make sure to add the prompt you are working on and the name of this contest in your Foreword or Description, whichever you prefer.
Fourth, when you are finished writing and you are completely done with everything, go back to the prompt in your Foreword or Description and bold the words, phrases, genres, etc. that you used. You must have at least one in each category to qualify. If you do not use one in a category, simply e-mail me and explain to me why it would have been impossible to add into the story.
Fifth, you must stay loyal to the Basic Plot at all times. A little bit of straying is allowed, but if it's completely off, you will be disqualified. An explanation will not be accepted for that specific category. If you are planning something out that you fear might be a little off the basic plot, ask me and I'll give you the go-ahead if I find it acceptable.
Sixth, do not be afraid to ask me any questions as you write. I know these rules may seem a bit constricting and strict, but I will be understanding in most cases. I want you all to be as creative as possible.
Seventh, if you do not feel comfortable with your English skills and you fear you may be disqualified, message me, tell me to read your story real quick (or a sentence, whatever), and I'll tell you if your grammar or spelling is off. I might take a while to get back to you or read, so try your best to finish your story by December 14th so I will have enough time to edit it if you ask me to. However, if you want more time, find a beta reader.
Thank you very much for reading all of this and participating! I hope more authors sign up! I'm so excited for this contest!
