Hi everyone! It's Liviaismuah here! I've decided to try out hosting a writing contest for some odd reason that I honestly cannot explain. I don't know, I just wanted to try it out to see if I'm okay at it. Also, I'm curious as to how everyone will do this. Oh, this is based off of ThanhXuan's Eunhae Bonfire Fest btw. Just like that Fest, this will be strictly Eunhae/Hyukhae/Haehyuk

How it Works:

It's August 3rd right now (USA EDT) and the ending deadline for this contest is December 14th. I'll be lenient with the deadline, but if your story is not sent to me by midnight December 31st April 4th (USA EDT), you will be automatically disqualified.

There will be a Prompting Period, a Claiming Period, Creating Period, and a Submitting Period. I will be notifying everyone through e-mail and through this story as time goes on, but try to stay on schedule.

I'll be providing a few prompts, but it would be helpful if some people could help me out and create a few prompts and use a format that will be given below to send them to me so I can provide effectively for anyone interested in participating.

Prompting Period: August 3rd— August 10th {Ended}

Claiming Period: August 11th— August 18th {Ended} [Still can join and claim any OPEN prompts]

Creating Period: August 19th— March 20th

Submitting Period: March 20th— April 4th

Final Deadline: April 4th, midnight.

Prompts will be posted in groups in chapters, depending on the order they are sent in. Writers will claim THREE and it's a first come, first serve philosophy here so if your first choice has already been taken, your second choice will be given to you, and so on. I will try my best to cater to everyone's demands and depending on the amount of prompts, writers, and time, rules may change a bit. I will notify everyone so don't worry.

Prompts:

All prompts must be Eunhae/Hyukhae/Haehyuk.

All prompts MUST be supernatural/fantasy.

Prompts must incorporate at least one of these themes: romance, , fluff, adventure, AU, realistic.

Prompts are not allowed to incorporate: , character death, strong angst, abuse, ia, homophobia, biphobia, strong horror.

Prompts will be sent into me at [email protected] using the form below.

Theme: (ex: Romance, Hyukhae, Fantasy)

Phrases: (ex: "What the hell is this tree doing in the middle of the street?" "Holy ! It's a tree sprite!")

Words: (ex: Oblivious, Dumb, Confused, Red)

Basic Plot: (ex: Donghae is an oblivious tree sprite who doesn't know how to live among humans. Hyukjae tries to help Donghae assimilate safely.)

Preferences: (ex. Innocent Donghae. Red haired Hyukjae.)

Prompts are not a mold you must fit into exactly. You can give and take a little bit, as long as you stay loyal to the basic theme and plot of it. At least one phrase, word, or preference must be used though.

Claiming:

I will be providing a form for writers to fill out and I'll be organizing everything so that everyone can get the prompt or one of the prompts they want.

Posting:

Each story's link will be posted here and organized due to genres, etc. (I'm still gonna have to figure it out depending on numbers). Make your own cover page and story with the tag "angelicdevil" so I can find it easier.

General Rules:

You must be able to write in legible English. If your writing has terrible grammar and spelling and it is literally impossible or stressful to read, I will disqualify you. If English is not your first language, please try and find a beta reader.

Eunhae must be the main ship in the story, but you may add any other characters you see fit. No OC's that have a major part in the plot are allowed, only very minor parts are allowed for OC's. (ex. bartender, barista, etc.)

It depends on the amount of writers that will join and the amount of prompts available, but for now, each writer is only allowed one story. If numbers are agreeable, two will be allowed. I will inform you all of any changes.

Each story must be at least 2000 words long no matter if it's a oneshot or if it's chaptered. There is no maximum limit. Write as much as you think is necessary.

Winning:

This winner of this contest will most likely be decided by a combination of voting and my personal decision. It will most likely have various categories if the amount of stories submitted allows it. The more stories, the more awards.

I will decide the awards later on when I know the amount of stories available, but I will be most likely giving out karma points, a blog post especially for the winner, or something else. I am not sure yet. Suggestions would be nice.
