Hyunae lives in a time of war and destruction, a time in which fear and hatred consume both sides of the fight.  From the moment she turned ten years old she was into a life of having to train day after day with the other Elemental children, learning how to fight and use their powers.  They all have one goal that's been set into her heart: to make the Resistance pay for what they've done to her people.  

A stranger dressed in all black comes to town and produces enough reason to find shelter at the home of the wealthy Kim household.  He does not eat much, speak much, nor does he seem to sleep.  He doesn't seem to do much of anything, but when he does even the King's Black Hand seems to fear him.  When Lord Kim's wife is killed in what seems to be a unfortunate accident, Jin, the Kim's servant girl knows it's no accident.
