Description

A stranger dressed in all black comes to town and produces enough reason to find shelter at the home of the wealthy Kim household.  He does not eat much, speak much, nor does he seem to sleep.  He doesn't seem to do much of anything, but when he does even the King's Black Hand seems to fear him.  When Lord Kim's wife is killed in what seems to be a unfortunate accident, Jin, the Kim's servant girl knows it's no accident.  Jin believes the quiet stranger dressed in all black isn't quite what he seems.

 

Foreword

This is a rather lengthy oneshot featuring my ultimate bias, Kris, or Wu Yifan.  I had a lot of fun writing this and I love the way it came out which is a huge relief becasue writing a story with Kris had proven difficult so far.  I wrote this specifically for the ❝Moonlight 월광❞ One-Shot Writing Contest for the simple pleasure of writing a Kris centered piece.  Just as a reference, consider this story set in Joseon times when people believed in old gods and superstitions,  and used swords and daggers to fight.  I hope you guys all like it
