About Me

  • I like to believe I’m a writer.
  • I cater to readers who love simple, cliché, but (hopefully) inspirational plotlines.
  • I don’t write .  Although I wish I could.  But I couldn’t.  Believe me, I tried. And I failed.
  • Almost all of my protagonists are simple, female, young adults who are witty in their own way.
  • I wish to be a published author someday.  I'm definitely looking forward to self-publishing.
  • I think prepositions .
  • I didn’t have any formal creative writing background. But I do love reading, and I try to learn from it.
  • I love the Harry Potter series, but the Chronicles of Narnia will always be my favorite children’s book(s).  I’m particularly fond of The Dawn of the Voyage Treader.

  • My favorite ongoing project so far is Adrift…but I have yet to finish it.
  • My favorite one-shot is…I can’t pick. They’re all good TO ME!  And I treasure them all because I think one-shots are harder to write than ongoing ones.
  • I have a problem with self-esteem.  There’s a ‘black hole’ phase in my life when every ounce of self-esteem in me gets up, and therefore, also causes me to lose the motivation to write.  Yeah, I need to work on that…
  • I’m a crybaby.  No matter how corny a scene in a movie or TV series/sitcom may be, I get easily overwhelmed and shed tears.
  • I have post-ablative hypothyroidism.
  • I’m honestly a very picky reader.
  • But give me a good underrated fic and I will most likely read it.
  • When I was in high school, I joined ABS-CBN’s scriptwriting contest for TV or movie.  I lost.
  • I also wrote songs and sent demos to local recording companies.  None of them ever got accepted. Lol.
  • Is it safe to say that I’ve had a handful of failures in the past?
  • And I might just have more of them as well in the future…but that’s okay.
  • Which is why it’s also okay if I join the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature and I lose. I’m in it for the experience and learning anyway.
  • I hope you enjoyed getting to know a slice of me.=)
