APPEARANCE — Edward is 185 cm and weights 80 kg. He has stylish brown hair and green eyes. He has a mole under his right eye and has a preference for either a clean shaved face or a very slightly beard. Edward has broad shoulders and a build up body.

STYLE — Edward likes to wear classy and clean clothes that gives him the look of a confident and strong man. Usually he wears suits, but he also can wear any stylish and classic business or charming man clothing. He likes to look neat and give a strong and worthy impression. Edward uses ties for work when he is an investigation or meeting a suspect or a client and typicall businessman shoes. However, when he is on duty and needs to go on field for capturing a suspect or anything that requires authority and risk, he uses his uniform. Edward also likes to wear more casual clothing like jeans and t-shirts, however he mostly uses them on his days off or when he is on hollidays.

PERSONALITY

Edward is a person with two distinctive personalities. To his friends and family, he is a very nice person, charming, intelligent, funny and charismatic, but if he dislikes someone he becomes strick and rigid, mostly refraining to speak to the said person if possible. He is passionate about his job and likes to be able to help the authority into catching bad people and actually do justice. Due to his looks and charms he easily can get informations from women whenever he is doing his investigations and due to his profile ability, he can also easily judge people with their behaviour, using that to either his advantage or to catch criminals. Edward is very persuasive and good with his talking skills, mostly due to his ability to quickly profile someone and please them.

He likes to keep a healthy life and does push ups everyday, keeps a healthy eating habit and jogs on the weekends, so he doesn't quite agree with people with lazy or unhealthy habits. He is a hardworking person, who does everything he can to do well on his work. Edward likes to help people, not only by catching criminals, but he also likes to help helpess women, elders and children (he crosses paths with several cases on his work). A dark side of Edward arises whenever he is remebered of his parents "murder", who didn't receive the justice they needed, he seeks revenge, but he won't dirty his hands by becoming a dirty monster like the ones he catch, he wants to get revenge with other means and use justice to sentence those who wronged him, his family and other innocents.

An interesting characteristic of Edward is that he can be a chameleon, he is quite analystic and quick minded and adapt to any situation, specially under pressure. He can change his attitude and approach towards people depending on the person he is dealing with. For example, if he is working undercover or if he wants to get information from suspects or victims, he shifts his speech and posture to make the person trust him, not suspect him and give him what he needs. Although he knows he could use his skills and physical for the bad, he doesn't want to become a monster and will only use them to bring justice.

He is quite loyal toward his friends, family and co-workers and he wouldn't hesitate to risk his life for them. Most of the time he is mature and responsible person, but he isn't afraid to show his cheeky and childish side to his closest people. Edward is patient, determined and doesn't give up easily of anything, however he is the first to acknowledge and apologizes when he realizes he was wrong. Although not many people know, he has a sensitive and emotional side, he doesn't kill if he doesn't have too since taking a life pains him, he prefers that someone rots behind bars than die due to his hands. Although he tries to endure when he is in pain, he would cry in front of his friends if something really hurt him, because he strongly disagrees that crying makes a man weak. Speaking of weakness, he is very afraid to get into strong friendships or relationships because in his job people could try to find his weakness to use it against him, so other than his friends, family and co-workers, he draws a thick line between personal life and work.

 

— EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE.

BACKGROUND 
 

Edward was born in Oxford and loved there with his parents for 10 years. His parents, Felix and Charlotte Lewis loved their son uncondittionally and always did their best to be there for him. Edward's childhood was normal, he went to his local school, played with the kids, then he spent time with his family. However, everything changed on 1998. Edwards and his parents decided to have a trip to London and see the Big Ben and the London Eye, as well as going to the historical museum that Edward has been whinning for ages that he wanted to visit. They were having fun, singing in the car and talking about random things, when they saw a strange light across the street. Edward looked through the car's window and thought that it was odd to see a person with a stick in its hand. Not long after, he realized that the stick actually emitted colourful lights with a consequent impact. He was thrilled, it was truly magic. Edward told his parents that there were magicians around, but his parents had stiffed faces. Charlotte told Edward to stay still an realizing that something was wrong Edwards asked what was going on. But before there was any reply, the car felt an impact and soon it lost its direction, culmiting into an accident. Edward, who was still conscious, tried to get out of the car, and then after succedding, tried to wake his parents up, however they didn't respond to his touch. Edward, who was crying and screaming for help, looked at the source of the accident, only to see the previous wizards disappearing, with destruction over the place they had been fighting.

 

When the ambulance and the cops appered and asked Edward to explain what he saw, he talked about witches and wizards. The officer frown, but assumed that the poor boy was still in shook or suffered any contusion from the crash, not believing his word. The cause of death of Edward's parents was declared as an unfourtunate car accident, dismissing the boys words. With no parents around anymore and without a place to go, the social services took him to an orphanage in London. Knowing that no one would believe what he saw, he had to adapt at life in the orphanage and hide his rage upon knowing something but also knowing that no one would believe in him. It was rough for a 10 year old. Luckily for him, whithin a year a couple who wanted to adopt a child went to the orphanage. They saw many young kids and then they spotted Edward at a corner alone. The Clarkes became intrigued by him and asked why he was alone and the responsible of the orphanage told his story, how he lost his parents and saw everything, but the woman sighed, saying that it was difficult for an almost
 years old boy to get adopted. The couple were touched and decided to meet him and to their surprised they clicked. The wife knew that she wanted to adopt Edward, and that is how Edward started to live with the Clarke family.

 

Susan Clarke was a teacher and Peter Clarke was a policeman who had military training. They were a lovely couple and gave love to Edward, showing that he was part of the family now. With time, Edward opened up to them and they became close, however Edward never forgot the injustice that happened to his parents and decided to one day get his revenge. Edward returned to school, his adoptive mother helping him to catch up with the subjects and life went to normal until he graduated. After his graduation, Edward decided to follow his adoptive father example to be an official of the law and enrolled into a special program of 4 years with policeman training in military regime. After finishing his training he was assigned to Homicide department were he helped his superiors. He showed to have good skills as a policeman and potentional to become a profiler. He followed the advice of one of his superiors who said that he should take a psychology degree and develop his profiler skills since he was still young. Therefore, he kept working on his duty while also studying (since he didn't want to burden his adoptive parents). With his new profiler skills and his policeman ability he was able to solve homecide cases and even help some colleagues from other departments to help find leads on their cases. This is why, at his middle twentys and with such potential, Edward became a precious agent.

When he was around 27 years old, Edwards received a proposal to integrate the federal special forces team and use his skills to help the country solving behavioural violent crimes and help Interpool with some international crimes (mostly involving British citiezens).

However, the more power he gained, the more he used his skills to form his own investigation about wizards and witches, in secret, in order to find their secrets and maybe find his biological parents murders.

 

On August 10 2018, his team was called due to an emergency accident. He arrived to the local only to grit his teeth as the spotted wizards. Their nature was now exposed and he could take advantage of that for his own good, he could revenge his parents and show the world how wicked these monsters really were. And he better than anyone could recognize monsters, after all he is used to profile and arrest violent monsters that murder for their own satisfaction. His team was involved in capturing one of the wizards and bring them to their unit for interrogation but soon they started to have an argument with the wizard authority who defended that it was their criminal and that they should take the person into custody, while Edward simply said that he said person was an English citizien so they should go under the English government custody. After a lot of arguments they were able to come to a conclution, but all this experience made Edward think that it wouldn't be easy to deal with Wizards if they won't follow the British government law, but instead their own kind's law. If he wanted revenge he needed to think how he could get closer to them.

 

After the magical world exposure, they became the talk everywhere but Edward was still clueless about what he could do to approach them.

Some time after the incident, his superior gave him a flyer about some kind of Initiative. When he saw that the flyer was actually about recruiting people for the Muggle Integration Initiative he widened his eyes. Of course he first tried to control his emotions when he realized that they called the normal people, or better, the people without powers as Muggles. But he couldn't help to smile and he found his clue, maybe he could use that opportunity to get close to the wizards. His chief told Edward that Prime minister Johnson said that the government needed a link between the non magical people and the wizards and since Edward was still young, maybe he could be the said link. So of course Edward was delighted with the idea, and decided to apply right after.

- He has bad mood after waking up, and needs a couple of minutes to relax (this is due to the negative thoughts and scenes that he sees during the day and uncounsciously afect his sleep at night);

- Sometimes he thinks that he isn't a god person because he got "used" to criminals and violent crimes and his biggest fear is to one day look in the mirror and see himself like one of the monsters he brings to justice;

- He lives a healthy live, exercise regularly and eats healthy;

- Since his job can be risky, he lives alone in an apartment;

- He gets emotional with sad movies but denies it (his friends laugh at him);

- He once cried watching Marley & Me, but still denies it;

- He made a promise to himself never to date a victim or a suspect;

- Some of his missions were to protect the Prime minister as his bodyguard, so Mr. Johnson still remembers him and politely greets him;

- Over the years he digged some research about the wizarding world but didn't collect much information to his frustration;

- Once he was mistaken as an actor and until this day he boasts jokingly that he is famous;

FAMOUS LAST WORDS — Hi! I hope you like my little antagonist. I tried to make Edward's crime unit based on the Criminal Minds show dynamic (in case if you know the show, I tried to take parts of Spencer and Derek's personality in Edward personality and I used Penelope as an inspiration for Jenninfer), so somehow I hope it's not too confusing. Ok so, what else can I say? First, I'm happy I managed to finish him under all this crazyness that has been my life these days and also, I can't believe that this is the last character I'll be making for the trilogy... I hope to make him justice and I hope I won't disappoint you ;-;

SCENE SUGGESTIONS — Edward, Kevin and Jennifer making a private investigation to build a case for Edward that somehow brings clues to helps sabotaging and catching one of the criminals that created the incident. Maybe Edward realizing that not all wizards are bad?
