SIGHT

The first drafts I made for this story was actually starting with Nayeon, revealing right away that she was blind. But the drafts I made were too gloomy for me. 

So this chapter is the introduction of Nayeon's character. And this chapter was hers alone. 

I wanted Nayeon's character to be as interesting as Kai's that's why I made her blind. I did my best, with my free time, researching about people like Nayeon since I don't know a thing about blind people. It was also important to me how they think. So it has become one of my goals in writing this to share what I learned about blind people and give awareness as much as possible.

Some scenes in this chapter was inspired by an article I've read about that person going blind. And, I seriously have no knowledge how they find out they'll be going blind, so the doctor scene was entirely based on that article. 

The way I envisioned the whole story is like a movie, because i'm shamefully an aspiring director lol. So that's why I dont get much into details much, so I just cut scenes. Like the one Nayeon on the bathroom rubbing her eyes (iirc), then I cut it to the Check-up-with-the-optician scene.

But seriously, the reason I cut stuff is because I write my chapters after work, super late at night. @__@ iwanttogetthisdone

EDIT: I also wanted to show in this chapter how different the 2 worlds --dream and waking life--are.
