it's his name romanized and turned backwards. haon frequently used it as his screen name (for social medias / sns such as his kakaotalk, line, instagram and his soundcloud). sometimes haon uses the hangul version, which is 노아노이 (pronounced as noanoi). there's no particular reason as to why haon uses this as his screen name, other than it looks nice (and it helps in throwing people off his tail, since he has several "fangirls" during his school years who's always attempting to add (read : stalk and spam) his personal sns accounts. since the screen name itself masks haon's real name, it serves as some sort of cover for haon to keep his privacy to himself). nowadays, he uses the said name as the longer version of his stage name.

pretty much explanatory. not only does haon have looks as sweet as honey (fans words, not his), his rather deep bass voice is what the fans describe as smooth as dripping honey. thus, when you mix honey with haon, you get yourself a pun and a very cringe-y term of endearment. it's rather popular among female fans, as they like to refer to haon as their honey. cringe-y, yes, but it makes them happy so haon doesn't really have any say nor complaints towards it, other than mild embarrassment.
ha unnie
a running gag amongst me+u members. one of haon's more general nicknames, which is onnie (taken from the last syllable of his name, on) sounds like unnie. along with the fact that haon's motherly nature and older sibling tendencies reminds the members to that of an older sister. it's more of a soft kind of mockery, which haon lets it slide everytime the members uses it on him.

it's a term used for someone who has exceptionally great facial features, one whose face seems to be carefully crafted by god. haon's good looks were deemed, by the fans, worthy enough of the said term. thus that is what the fans (usually in the online world) refer to him as, along with articles that are related to male kpop idols. another variation, or rather term, in relation to haon's body is god of body proportions.

haon's astounding height earned him this pun-ny moniker, which is a combination of namu (tree in korean) and his name. the members of me+u cleverly came up with this nickname, and even some saved haon's contact as the said moniker, with an addition of several tree emojis.

a while after me+u debuted, haon received offers left and right to model for brands and magazines, ranging from nameless ones nobody knows the existence of to big household names. his face is plastered in quite a few magazines and brands, thus earning him this title.
fox
haon's facial features reminds one of a fox, evident from his rather sharp and rather slanted eyes, like that of a fox's eyes. the term was first made by the trainees he used to train with. haon doesn't really mind being called a fox, eventhough he fails to see the similarities between himself and a fox. even so, whenever haon updates on me+u's sns, he often adds in fox emojis, so that fans know that it's him.

yeon haon, or as others would've put exaggeratedly, a walking timeless prince blessed with such exquisite, almost godlike beauty. his looks are rather captivating, captivating enough that you find yourself unable to look away from this heartthrob. his rather sharp and fox-like eyes, paired with his strong eyebrows, makes him look rather mysterious at times and, dare haon says, tough. his plump lips balance his sharp eyes, thus creating an image of a boy who's delicate yet strong, exuding an enigmatic aura. his dark eyes carry a wise light, as if he's an old man that has lived over thousands of years. his sharp jawline is quite a deadly weapon (to the ladies). he's what you'd see as a cold city boy, his astounding height of 187 cm, weight of 66 kg and jet black hair further accentuating the said representation. his body proportions are what one would say as ideal, for he's gracefully tall and thin, leaning more to a lean figure, but he also has strong thighs and rather defined biceps (and maybe abs?), all achieved through his efforts in the gym. he currently has an undercut, which he covers parts of with his hair. he usually wears his hair in some sort of a comma hairstyle (see bts' jungkook). he has lobe, upper lobe and helix piercings on both ears.
haon doesn't really see what others see, for he feels that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. he's confident enough, or rather, comes to terms with the fact that some people are only going to see his face, and not see him for what he really is. sometimes haon feels that the more compliments he gets about his physical attributes, the more he thinks that he doesn't have much talent beside his face and body (deep down he knows this is not true, but still). he prefers people complimenting him on his skills or talent rather than beauty. if haon were to speak truthfully, he thinks he looks fine in terms of his handsomeness level. not ovaries-blasting handsome, but okay handsome. he's humble about how he looks, and becomes rather flustered when he receives over-the-top praises on his physical features. simply put, he doesn't really acknowledge himself as a very good-looking person (he acknowledges himself as a good-looking person, not very), but he knows that others see it the other way around. he does politelty thank anyone who compliments him though, and softly declines anyone's statements that exaggerates about his looks.

haon is arguably one of the more fashionable members. his fashion style, mostly his airport outfits, garners attention, making it to the spotlight. haon's style varies from the schedules he's attending, but one thing's for sure, this boy loves the colour black.
haon is known to (sometimes) look like a serial killer because he often wears black hats that he pulls down until it covers half of his face, while the other half is snuggly covered by a black mouth mask. other black outfits he often wears are jackets (bomber, leather and biker), silk shirts, etc. he usually pairs it with black (of course) slacks or ripped skinny jeans.
haon does venture outside the colour black, sometimes wearing floral patterns, stripes etc. he usually wears a suit for formal events. other times, he dons a blazer on top of a tshirt and pairs it with jeans, creating a semi-formal look. other than that, you can spot haon wearing a button up, graphic tshirts and jumpers, hoodies, varsity jackets, flannels, denim jackets, polo shirts, corduroy jackets, denim jeans, khakis, chinos, cargos, loose fit jeans, etc. he likes to keep up with the latest style and trends, and as of lately he likes to wear those wide leg cotton pants.
for casual wear, haon is usually seen in a simple shirt and jeans. sometimes he likes to layer his clothes, such as wearing a long-sleeved shirt underneath a short-sleeved one, or wearing a turtleneck inside a button up, even using a shirt (with buttons) as an outerwear. on hot days, haon can be seen wearing shorts paired with sleeveless shirts. on windy days, haon doesn't stray far from wearing warm cardigans, and on those cold winter days, he always puts on an overcoat.
haon sometimes wears earrings (either the round metal ones or the long chain ones with or without crosses). one of his notable airport looks is his black sunglasses which makes him look like he's a super busy ceo. other types of glasses he likes to wear are the round harry potter ones, the half rimmed ones, clear framed ones, and the vintage gold aviator framed ones.
as for accessories, haon has an infinite love for bucket hats. other times, you can see a snapback resting on his head snuggly. he also likes to wear several types of caps and hats, such as beanies / knitted caps, snapbacks, baseball caps, fedoras, floppy hats, berets, military caps, ivy / newsboy caps etc. other types of accessories he likes to wear are chains (chain necklaces, chain necklaces with rings), watches, belts, etc. another notable item that haon carries around is his bag, which comes in the form of a backpack to duffel bags, doctor bags, messenger bags etc.

meet mr perfect. good looks, good manners, good people skills. he's that knight in shining armour, ready to save you when you're in trouble. he's just an all-around good person that it's hard to talk bad about him. no, it's impossible to trash him because there's nothing bad to talk about him. it seems rather unfair that yeon haon has it all, as if god favoured him the most.
on the outside, haon seems like an intimidating person. you know those people who looks too good to be true that you can't help but feel small and intimidated in their presence, your confidence perishing to nothing in front of their eyes. he's somewhat mysterious, as he knows people, their likes and dislikes, but people don't know much about him. haon is a somewhat withdrawn individual, as he doesn't let out his feelings in the open, nor does he often talk about his emotions in a raw way. he likes to divert everyone's attention away from him, preferring to have other people take his spotlight, content with being in the shadows as a supporting pillar. he's socially inept, or in other words, awkward, when it comes to talking about himself. he's used to catering to other people's needs and paying attention to them that when the spotlight is on him, he doesn't know what to do.
in truth, haon is a person who has his sh*t together. he keeps track of everything, feeling rather anxious when things are unorderly and disorganized. it stresses him out when things don't go according to plan, or rather, turn out the way he wants. he's not dictatorial, nor is he a strict follower of rules and regulations. he's just really keen on having things under control so that unwanted situations don't happen. he likes being in control simply because he wants to create a nice harmony, a good environment for the people around him. despite exhibiting leader-like qualities, it goes without saying that haon just doesn't fit the role. maybe it's due to his lack of assertiveness, as he tends to fluctuate between having a strong presence and having a weak presence (read : wanting to have this dominating aura so that people will listen to him, but not having the heart to.).
he's careful, to the point that he becomes overly wary of his surroundings. paranoid, so to say. his levelheadedness and perceptive mind aids him in solving his way out when dealing with problems. he determinedly approaches the unknown with carefully planned steps. he's not the type to complain and keeps his emotions at bay. haon likes to think of himself as a rather careful planner, but in the younger members' eyes, he's that uptight dad who's lame at parties, not letting his kids have a good time. haon often gets teased for never losing his cool, and when he does, members feel like they're seeing a completely new side of him. haon, when faced with situations that are out of his control, or when placed in a situation that spirals out of control, shuts down. he feels like he fails, like it's the end of the world, when things don't go the way he wanted it to be. this turns him into an individual who's very hard on himself.
haon has great judgements, meaning that he sees both sides of the coin. he is fair to everyone. he's the type of person who can't choose sides, aka unbiased, leading him to find a possible outcome that is equitable and beneficial to both parties. he tries his best to make everyone happy. he has this understanding of human emotions, able to mentally detect when someone is feeling down or having difficulties. he knows when you're going through hardships alone, there's not much use to lie to him for he can see right through you. he's like that guardian angel who watches you from afar quietly, wanting to respect your boundaries, only jumping to your help when you clearly need it. his high sense of responsibility makes him believe that it is his duty to take good care of everyone's wellbeing. he’s accommodating and shows deep understanding of others. in a way, the saying “help me to help you” fits haon well.
he's the type to inspire other people, the type that makes people want to become better version of themselves. he pushes people only because he believes in them so much. he thinks of everyone, and tries to put himself in everyone’s shoes. he’s like your caring mother who puts you and your wellbeing before her own. he makes people feel important. he’s the first person the members turn to for help or advice. he may not be the oldest, but he has this sense of maturity and sensibleness. it’s evident on how wise he is with his words, revealing a person whose knowledge is way beyond their years. he radiates a calm and inviting aura. it’s nice to be around him. he pays attention to every word you said, making you feel like you’re an important person in his eyes. he listens carefully to your problems, and does his best in consoling you. when you did something wrong, he will point it out but he takes measured steps in doing so, treading carefully as to not rile you up. when you’re with him, you can’t help but feel like you’re worthy of something, like your presence is actually valuable. Haon’s company is something you’ll find yourself genuinely enjoying. he somehow has this ability of purifying one’s heart. like if you’ve secretly sinned, if you’re around haon, you find yourself confessing what you did wrong. he becomes happy through simple things like that, when you trust him enough to confide your problems in him. he appreciates it when other people put their trust in him, and because of that he’s always trying his best to be someone people can look up to. it pressurizes him to always be perfect and not show any flaws.
however, haon can get carried away in helping someone. he takes their problems as their own, burdening himself with it, forgetting that the problems are not his and that some people are capable of handling their own sheet. haon’s help can become somewhat suffocating, if he wasn’t reminded to back off and let that person deal with their problems themselves. he feels troubled when his presence doesn't matter to people and his opinions were unheard by the people around him. deep down he wants to be heard, he wants to stand up for himself but he does not know the right time to do so.
haon is able to move people's hearts so that they abide to his words. he doesn’t do it out of bad intentions though. he uses this advantage to control the members so that they don’t end up hurt or causing troubles. he reaches out to people, and feels a sense of accomplishment when they reach out to him first. he understands others’ feelings better than he understands his own feelings. he doesn’t know how to deal with his own mountains of emotions. the downside of being someone’s guardian is that there isn’t many people who will become his guardian. there’s no one he can turn to, but everyone turns to him for help. with this, haon feels like he’s alone when faced with his demons. at some days, he finds it exhausting to hide his lonely heart behind a strong facade. he’s not very familiar with himself. he doesn’t confront his feelings often and avoids talking about his emotions, trapping his inner conflicts to himself.
there's only so much that haon can handle on his own before he slowly cracks. one of haon's flaws would be his way of wearing his heart on his sleeves. he's sensitive, but he's not one to openly show his feelings or clearly express when he's hurt. he bottles everything up in an unhealthy way. he's not the type that is prone to sudden explosive outbursts. he lets his steam off little by little, so it's not obvious when he's in a rather bad mood. when his mood does turns sour, he drops hints here and there as a way to show that he’s annoyed. he denies it when people eventually picks up on him being out of character and proceeding to ask whether he's okay or not.
he's rather merciful and forgiving, making him the main target of pranks and the subject of mockery between me+u members. he doesn’t mind, not easily angered at s’ antics, letting them do whatever they do, as long as it’s just trivial and harmless. that is why s never stop teasing him. haon tends to get flustered whenever he humiliates himself. this acts as the fuel to the already growing fire, making me+u members want to even further. haon lowkey thinks of himself as a boring person because he doesn’t have a funny side, or a unique side to him. it baffles him as to why some of the fans are interested in him (or his face, to be exact). he’s rather modest and even looks uncomfortable when he receives compliments.
haon can become rather bossy at times, especially when he feels like his nonexistent authority has been provoked and that he can foresee problems arising. he becomes rather forceful in a way, so that he can control those who are getting out of hand, and steer them back to the right path. he's an individual who can lose his purpose, or directions, quickly. without purpose, haon becomes aimless, doing things without knowing the cause or why he's doing it. existential crisis is something haon is no stranger to, as he constantly affirms and reaffirms the values of what he’s doing.
in haon’s eyes, it’s hard for him to cut people out of his life, even the toxic ones, as he believes everyone deserves a second chance. he rarely dislikes someone, so when haon does dislike someone, then that someone must not be taken lightly. He’s afraid of hurting those he holds dear to his heart. When someone precious to him betrays him, he becomes heartbroken and takes a while to accept the fact that they do not view him as important as he view them. he gets bothered by little insignificant things. haon doesn’t really take well to criticism, as he feels that it’s a personal blow to his self-esteem. the same goes to the people who look up to him. mocking them is like mocking haon in a way, since they’re criticized because of him, as they look up to him. this makes him feel like he’s someone incapable of doing something right. accepting negativity and the fact that he’s not always right is a concept that he’s still trying to understand. It irks him when you don’t understand nor see his point of view. another way to tick him off is simply by not listening to him. if you have the bravery to do so, you can expect hours of nagging coming your way.

PART ONE ;
yeon haon was born on a cold windy day. he's the second son of yeon hwisang, a struggling accountant and yeon seochae, an underpaid florist. the yeons weren't very well off in terms of financial state. they were just getting by with hwisang's and seochae's earnings. it didn't stop haon from living life to the fullest, though. his innocence was a calming distraction for his parents, making them momentarily forget their struggles and appreciate the little things in life, like haon's lovable smile. the life of the yeons were one of a dull routine, with the same outcome everyday. it was monotonous, but they managed to get by somehow.
haon shared a close relationship with his older brother, hyunwoong. the two relied on each other, both having each other's backs. they were like two peas in a pod. wherever haon goes, hyunwoong is not far behind. whatever hyunwoong does, haon follows. hyunwoong took his role as an older brother seriously, taking part in raising him up when his parents are not around. he checks up on haon often, making sure he's not skipping his meals and that he's safe.
young haon was a child full of love. he showed a keen understanding of human emotions even in a young age. he loves with all his heart, and cares with all his might. he was that child who greets the sun a good morning and asks how the trees how are they doing.
haon's love wasn't enough to stop his mother from leaving, though. seochae, tired with the situation she has to live with for the rest of her life and wanting more, packed her bags and walked out of her family's life. she left her husband and her sons behind, not even a note or a trace of her belongings left. haon was very young at that time, but he remembers crying for days, thinking that it was all his fault that his mother left. if only he was better. if only he shows more love. would his mother never left his side? would his mother ever come back? those were questions that lingers in the back of haon's mind throughout the years. looking back, haon doesn't clearly remember anything about his mother, apart from the fact that she has a kind smile and calloused hands.
PART TWO ;
haon's father tries his best to become both the mother as well as the father figure in haon and hyunwoong's life. haon learns to be independent at an early age, not wanting to bother his father. after his mother left, haon developed the need of always wanting to be perfect, for fear of people leaving him behind if he has flaws, just like how his mother left him behind without glancing back, as if he was nothing to her. his father balanced out several jobs in order to provide food in the table for his kids and a roof over their heads. he was tired, mentally and physically, but remembering his kids and how much he would do anything for them, renewed his energy. he always shows a bright smile to his kids, despite his insides breaking and his heart still not over the fact that his wife, the woman he plans on loving his whole life, betraying him.
it was a hard time for haon's father. he misses his wife constantly, feeling like half of his soul just disappeared like that. haon didn't like seeing his father being hurt, he didn't like how his father paints on a smile on his face, telling him that everything's alright when it's not. confronting his father on his emotions won't do any good either, for he won't open up about his hardships. when haon sees his father hurt, he hurts too. it only made him want to become stronger for his father, to become someone his father could rely on.
once haon started to go to school, he was determined to do his best. he doesn't settle for doing well, and wants to become the best. whatever haon does from that point on, it's for his father and his brother. he always has the two in his mind. he was the model student at school, the student every teacher uses as an example for the naughty kids. haon eventually becomes the top of his class, excelling in his academics, showing intelligence beyond kids his age.
PART THREE ;
haon and his family lived like that for a few years, a life that's constant and unchanging. haon prefers it that way, though. a life with predictable outcomes and no surprises, no sudden departure of a beloved one. they were okay for the most part. it was just haon, his brother and his father. just the way haon likes it.
haon sometimes wonder about his mother. truthfully, he doesn't know what to feel about her anymore. he wants to erase her existence from his memory, but she is still his mother, after all. how he wished so badly for her to be here, not for his sake, but for his father and brother's. he wanted to blame her, but couldn't bring himself to. not when his father always telling him to forgive her in order to live a peaceful life.
but with life, you can never be sure of what to expect. haon should've seen it coming. he should've. but it seems that life can be unkind to those who are kind. it's ironic how terrible things happen to people who deserves only the best after suffering through so much. haon was no exception. only a few years after his mother left his side, his father soon followed.
if haon were able to turn back time, he would spend all his time creating meaningful memories with his father. he would do anything to keep him safe. but some things in life are inevitable.
PART FOUR ;
devastated was an understatement. haon was completely torn apart. how could he not, when his one and only guiding light was no longer there to hold his hand in the dark?
they said it was a drunk driving accident, that haon's father was at the wrong place at the wrong time. the driver paid for the bills and the funeral, even served his time in jail, but it wasn't enough for haon. on the inside, haon wanted to wreck apart his surroundings. he was being into a void of nothing but darkness. he wanted to scream, scream so loud the dead might hear him. his father might even hear him. but that is not how haon was raised to be. so haon takes a deep breath, and shuts everyone out.
haon dislikes this, dislikes having people hover over him, treating him as if he were a fragile vase, as if he were a grenade. he's strong, he must be strong. he's not weak, no. he wants to break away from his shell. he wants to reach out to hyungwoong, assure him that we can go through this. but he couldn't. or rather, he didn't have enough will to. it's like he's on quicksand, and to even move requires such strength that he doesn't have anymore. he can feel his own will slipping away, his own self slowly going out of touch with reality.
haon and his brother were sent to live with their uncle, their father's older brother. uncle minguk, or uncle guk, as what his uncle prefers. oddly, uncle guk seems to resemble a bear in haon's eyes. his hugs are warm, haon notes with a small smile.
haon was in a dark place for a while. ironic, since he promised to be there for his brother, but look at him. he's doing the exact opposite. he dislikes being a problem for hyungwoong to worry over. he was supposed to be there for his brother. it became something haon, to this very day, still feels guilty over. with his brother and newfound family's care, haon was slowly able to see the light again. his state is akin to walking on top of glass. it hurts, it hurts so bad, but with constant medical attention, it will heal. but it will leave a mark.
haon tries his best not to burden his uncle anymore. he was starting to make himself a steady presence in haon's life. he couldn't bear to lose uncle guk. he's lost enough already. he won't mope around any longer, none of that. with a newfound will, haon locked his feelings away and approaches life in a more positive manner. it's time he let go. for your own good, hyunwoong said. so haon starts over, taking the best memories of his childhood and leaving behind the scars and wounds. those bitter flashbacks won't go away, but he's made peace with the devils in his mind, so he takes what he can get.
haon regains his footing in school. he slowly, but surely, makes his way to the top again. back home, he helps his aunt in maintaining and taking care of the house. he helps fill in his uncle's role as yeon wonhee's, his cousin, protector. it's the least he could do for being a freeloader.
PART FIVE ;
it was around noon when a man in his thirties approached fourteen years old haon, who was just finished doing groceries with his brother. the man introduced himself as a representative of big hit entertainment. i am being scouted, haon asked, though it came out more like a statement. the said man invited haon to try and audition, telling him that he has potential. teenage haon sat down with his brother and uncle, deciding on what to do with the sudden audition invitation. we support your decisions, honey! his aunt enthusiastically cheered on. haon has never thought of pursuing a career in the idol industry before. it's just not cut out for him. but if he does make it, he might be able to help his uncle with the bills. once he gets paid after performing, that is. with that thought in mind, haon went in for an audition, not expecting much.
to haon's suprise, he was accepted.
PART SIX ;
the music industry was foreign to haon. he only starts to learn about music, singing, dancing, rapping and all that when he became a trainee. haon merely tried his luck in the idol indutry purely because of seeing an opportunity to help his family. he was aimless so to say, not knowing what he's practicing before, his future as an idol blurry and faraway. he met jeon jungkook during his training, and the two become good friends. through jungkook, and other trainees, haon starts to see how music impacted their lives, and how serious they are in becoming an idol. learning a thing or two from the trainees, haon starts to look at music in a different light. he tries to add in more effort in his training. all the trainees had one goal, it would look unjust if haon was the only one there with no resolute goal.
bts debuted without him two years later. haon takes this as a sign that the idol world wasn't meant for him. he turned his back on it, and focused his attention on his family once more. his training did leave an impact on him, though. haon started to listen to kpop, started to use music as a stress relief, an outlet to let his thoughts out. he then started to write his own lyrics. it was nothing much, just simple words to express feelings he kept locked up and hidden away from plain sight. it slowly grew into a hobby, from simply mashing up words to truly creating stories and expressing such strong emotions through words. haon gravitates towards rapping, feeling a strong sense of connection to the rappers' words, feeling moved by his story. haon adopts a persona by the name noah noey on soundcloud, posting his self-produced songs on the said site. it was rather satisfying for haon to know that he's made this, and his hardwork is out there being acknowledged.
by now haon was a freshman in highschool. he did part-time jobs behind his uncle's back (he knows his uncle wouldn't like haon and his brother taking up jobs to help him with the bills, it just doesn't seem right in his uncle's eyes). haon had a steady income despite being a highschooler. life was, more or less, okay. but something was missing. haon feels a void in his heart, but he couldn't place what it seems to be.
PART SEVEN ;
haon graduated high school with colourful grades. he passed his college entrance exams and made his family proud. haon thought that this is it, the start of his actual beginning.

EIGHT out of all subjects in school, haon excels in english, math and history the most. he can calculate big numbers in his head, and shows keen interest in korea's history, as well as the history of other countries.

TWENTY THREE haon's brother worked as a tattooist during the day time, and a dj at a nightclub by night. haon used to get free piercings and tattoos from his brother (he gives haon a free piercing / tattoo on his birthday every year, starting from his 16th birthday. it's the only thing hyunwoong has best to offer, since he didn't know what to get him and couldn't buy him nice gifts). haon often tags along in his brother's job. because of that, haon has a minor experience in dj-ing. haon had a total of 6 tattoos but as of now he only has one. he also used to have an eyebrow and chin piercing, but now he only has piercings on his ears. the tattoos and piercings that he removed weren't something important to haon, except for the tattoo one on his collarbone, and the piercings on his ears (it was the first piercing he got and somehow couldn't part with it), so he doesn't mind removing them when his debut becomes official.

hyunwoong is like haon's other half. you know those type of friends who finishes each others' sentences? yea, that's them in a nutshell. hyunwoong is rather protective of haon, worries about haon's wellbeing a lot. he's more forceful and logical compared to haon, who can be meek and idealistic at times. though hyunwoong repeatedly forgives haon for all the things he's done in the past, haon doesn't do so. hyunwoong helps haon to forgive himself. since hyunwoong is the only one he's related to via blood, haon values hyunwoong greatly.

haon and jungkook go way back, back when they were both still fetuses under big hit. haon maintains respectful formal relationships with the other bts members, but is more closer to jungkook. he's haon's first real friend. the two often confide in each other on stressful situations back then. after haon left big hit, the two's friendship fades. after haon debuted, jungkook reached out to him. the two are now working on becoming closer again. since jungkook is busy these days, haon doesn't bother him with his problems, but still regularly checks up on him. the two of them, whenever they both have no schedules, will definitely go out to eat or play in an arcade.

training history
it took quite a while for haon to adapt to the trainee life. he didn't know what he was doing in big hit. he doesn't have any actual purpose there to be honest. when everyone there are dead set in becoming an idol, haon is still trying to figure out what he's going to be in the next couple of years.
still, he reminded himself that he needed to succeed so that he can help his uncle live a better life. haon trained his best, giving it his all, despite not knowing what he's training / practicing for when he's still not clear whether or not he wants to become an idol.
when haon didn't make it to bts, he felt like it was somewhat a blow to his self-esteem. deep down, haon thought he would make it. he and jungkook even made promises of treating each other once they both entered the group. but alas, haon gave up on the entertainment industry and turned his back completely on the idol world. or so he thought.
haon felt his purposes renewed when he was offered a second chance in the idol entertainment. initially having doubts and feeling like he will fail again, haon didn't want to step foot in the trainee life. but after much considerations, he finally became a trainee again. he has nothing to lose. plus, it's a good chance for him to figure out if he seriously wants to pursue music or not.
haon's time in pledis strengthens his resolves. the more he throws himself in making music, the more engrossed he becomes. haon was a complete beginner in the singing, dancing and rapping department back in big hit, but in pledis, his interest in rapping grew. he was no longer a stranger to dancing and singing, and tries his best to polish off his skills in those two areas. his primary focus was still on rapping though, as haon hones his rapping skills to perfection. after years of improvement, haon finds himself slowly enjoying dancing. it was as if he discovered a hidden talent.
haon was respectful and well-mannered to the other trainees, making him an easily well-liked trainee that the coaches and instructors speak highly of. haon wasn't super close to the trainees, but if he were to choose those who were close to him during his trainee days, he'd pick the 97 line of seventeen.

"ah, hello." haon bows 90 degrees, suprising the staff. "i am me+u's noey. a pleasure to meet you all."

"well, overjoyed was an understatement. i was over the moon, so to say." haon stops to recompose himself, a calm smile displayed on his handsome features. "like the saying goes, god helps those who help themselves. i am really happy that my efforts and hardwork paid off. of course, i had my support system who helped me every step of the way and for that, i thank them from the bottom of my heart. without them, i wouldn't be where i am right now." haon brushes a stray hair away from his face, before continuing gently. "i am forever grateful to be given the chance to debut with me+u, as they're not only talented individuals, but also good friends. i am lucky to be apart of this journey with them. i know that this is only the start of the flower path laid out in front of me, and there are going to be obstacles along the way. it get's hard, but that is life, i suppose. i have faith in my members, faith that we'll be alright when things gets difficult. i believe we'll get through this." haon ends his thoughts with a quiet little nod to himself.

"i do feel slightly under pressure." haon squirms in his seat a little, straightening his back. "all the members worked hard, and they inspire me to put in all my best in preparing for my debut song." haon hums to himself, and easy smile on his face. "i am beyond ecstatic but at the same time, nervous. i hope i'll meet your expectations." haon sheepishly smiled, before continuing. "standing alongside the members, going through this new world with them, sharing the burden, makes it a little easier." haon clasped his hands together, a determined look evident on his face. "i hope that with my hardwork, i can continue to bloom and grow as a member of me+u". haon graced the viewers with his elegant smile, probably causing them to have a huge melt down.

debut song? ❞
"ah, well my debut song's title is called freedom. it conveys the feeling of, well, being free." haon pauses for a while to gather his thoughts, before continuing in a more relaxed tone. "it's about wanting freedom, i suppose. the song has...curses in it," haon stops, lightly blushing before proceeding quickly, "but i do hope it won't deter you from listening. it has slow, relaxing beats, with guitar chords in the background. as for my duet song with dk," haon starts, a smile lightening up his face remembering his friend seokmin and the adventures in recording the song, "i hope you all will look forward to it. it's a rather festive song, but it has a nice vibe. my friend dk worked hard, and i am happy to be able to work with a friend i cherish."
