BACKGROUND
1999 came out of the womb :)) also born as an only child in a little hospital in taipei
2006 moved to jeju in late june due to father getting a better job
2012 parents divorced — father is at fault, or so yun believes — stays with mother
2014 mother and yun relocated to uptown seoul to start anew
2015 mother got remarried in late nov; yun is no longer an only child !!!
2015 enrolled into krsa to get away from step-family (doesn't like step-father or step-
sister), but didn't know step-sister goes to krsa ("what kind of luck is tHIS i'm
tRiGgErEd")
2016 is now a second year in krsa and resides in the dormitory as of sept 2016
TRIVIA
✘ basketball he plays center on the basketball team (#7 bc he watched kuroko no basuke), and that's only because he's one of the tallest on the team. during his first year on the team, he wasn't the greatest at the sport because he didn't find an interest in the sport, but, after learning and practicing for hours, even days, straight, he eventually got better at it. he's now one of the better players with a good eye, good rebound, and amazing passing skills and even has his own little fanclub ("YUN IS SO HOT" "AAAH DID YOU SEE? HE LOOKED AT ME I'M GONNA DIE" "LOOK AT ALL THAT SWEAT AAAH YUN MARRY ME"). yun is also very competitive and hates losing, and, 8 out of 10 times, the basketball team usually wins. a habit of his while playing basketball is brushing his hair back to cool down, only because he sweats literal buckets.
✘ school store yun works at the school store on campus, only because he gets a larger discount if you work there and he needed to help pay for the dorm with his roommate (bc he lowkey feels bad for his roommate,, but his mother does help in the payment as well plus he needs pocket $$$). funny thing is, this job is one of the few things he actually comes early for, and that's only because he doesn't want to get fired. his work schedule is usually after school-closing on weekdays and 9am-2pm on weekends when it's not basketball season, and when it's basketball season, he's not seen working as he prioritizes basketball over work.
✘ alcohol yun has tried drinking once or twice in his lifetime. although he's underage, he typically drinks when with friends or his step-sister, who was actually the first person to introduce him to alcoholic beverages ("what's a margarita???" "lmao buy it and you'll see, yaoxun"). however, he rarely drinks because, legends has it, yaoxun tends to hook up with people and become an absolute wreck after two or three drinks. you can say, yes, he's a lightweight, which is why, whenever he's out, he tries to steer away from drinking more than two. at most, he'll drink one, but sometimes he gets pressured into drinking more by some crazy people he calls friends.
✘ photography secretly, he enjoys taking pictures and actually likes photography. although it's evident in the amount of pictures he has on his camera roll and the fact he has both a dslr and a polaroid, but people assume it's because his mother is actually a photographer and lent him those things. in reality, he bought those with the money he got for his birthday and allowances put together. he doesn't carry either of them around, but he does take pictures on his phone of his friends, food, school and sceneries/landscapes. the photography club once came across yun's instagram and wanted to ask if he wanted to join, but he declined.
✘ daredevil yun is a not-so-secret dare devil around his friends and family. he suggests the most extreme and most dangerous activities when they're planning to hang out, but no one really listens to him. so, he tends to usually go do them alone or with his sister as his sister is pretty outrageous too. so far, he's gone shark cage diving, cliff diving at night, sky diving, and whitewater rafting (this was with his family). it's a surprise that he hasn't injured himself yet.
✘ mess yun hates, and i repeat hates, when people clean up his space. he says that it's "messy for a reason" and that "everything has its own place". so, when someone cleans up his mess, he'll literally mess up your place (or your face, whichever he sees first).
✘ animals he really likes dogs, like... really likes dogs. not only does he like dogs but he also like cats and rabbits, too. it may be because his step-sister or because, back in taipei, he's had friends who have/had pets, but he's very fond of animals.
✘ sleep yun is a heavy sleeper and, if you wake him up, you'll most likely get a beating or at least get slapped by him. he really hates being woken up and typically oversleeps. because of this, he's typically late for class and hangout sessions with friends and family.
✘ names he has a habit of forgetting faces pretty easily, but he blames it on the fact he knows a lot of people/names in school ("who are you again???" "yun, we literally met twenty minutes ago,," "oH YEAh").
✘ cooking yun can actually cook and bake because his biological father was a chef and his mother was always interested in baking. plus, his mother thought that learning to make food was a "necessity for when you have a wife and kids".
✘ rap he can rap and enjoys rapping with friends or even by himself for jam sessions. he got into it when he got onto middle/secondary school when he started to listen to korean hiphop/rap and american hiphop/rap. later on, he started listening to chinese hiphop, though he prefers korean more.
✘ phone he has an iphone 7 in matte black with a clear casing that has a cute polaroid of roi and him. sometimes people mistake his phone for a girl's phone because not a lot of guys would put polaroid pictures of themselves and their pet. his lockscreen and homescreen is his basketball team (lockscreen will change when he actually finds a decent gf,,).
✘ ex he once had a girlfriend during his first year, but they broke up at the end of first year because she said yun wasn't the "affectionate type". yun says they actually broke up because she was being possessive and wouldn't let him have his own freedom outside of their relationship.

SCHOOL LIFE
enrolled into krsa bc he heard you have the option to live on campus and, since he doesn't like his step-father and step-sister, he decided to go. but he didn't know that his step-sister goes to krsa too, so he's basically screwed for life now until she graduates,,
yun is basically everyone's friend and a one-person welcome committee. he's the outgoing and social kid that everyone seems to know and go to when they need a laugh or just need someone to hang with. he's not very organized (i pray for his roommate,,) and sometimes doesn't come to class on time, but he does mean well and will actually help you out. but, if you get inbetween him and his passions or cross the line, yun will actually kill you. in other words he's that "looks like a cinnamon roll but can actually kill you" meme.

✘ yun actually doesn't know what he wants to do when he graduates. he says that he'll go back to taipei to officially get away from his step-father and step-sister, but, at the same time, just wants to stay in korea because of all the friends he's made. he does, however, want to major in physical education when he's older or maybe even join a national basketball team if he does well enough.
HOW DID YOU END UP IN CLASS F?
✘ was late to class by half an hour bc he woke up late, even after his roommate woke him up twenty minutes before class ("well i'm sORry i need my necessary beauty sleep,,"), so yun got an automatic zero and ended up in class 2-f.
ARE YOU PART OF ANY EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES? SPORTS?
✘ no clubs/activities, though he can possibly start his own welcome committee if he wanted to. a lot of people, though, try to get him to join clubs/activities, but he always declines as he isn't too interested in any of the clubs in school (however, photography club is kind of calling his name,,).
✘ is on the school's basketball team bc someone came up to him and asked how tall he was. as of now, he plays center and wears jersey #7.
