Me in bathroom today

I had to fire someone today. 

I know that a lot of companies are downsizing, a lot of companies-- especially international ones are focusing on the new generation and this makes people of the senior generation leave. And I absolutely hate it. I had to fire someone today and he had no idea why but the question to that was because he was getting old, his response rate to certain things were slower than the young kids that the company had hired and he could have done better. 

Mind I tell you that as I watched him empty his locker and his desk, I completely burst into tears after in the bathroom because my heart couldn't take it. 

Even as I'm typing I'm sad. On other note, my boss told me I did a good job and I snarkily insinuated he didn't want to have blood on his hands and he didn't want HR to take care of it because Mr. R was more than just an employee-- he was an employee that was with the company since the beginning. (BUT IT IS AN HR JOB!). 

Absolute . I got out of that meeting in a horrifyingly bad mood and my boss very hesitantly offered me chocolate and asked me if I was hangry. Boss asked me if I was hangry. And I was thinking that I wasn't hangry because I was hungry. I was simply angry because I was a.n.g.r.y.

But all he did to try to make me smile was make faces at me behind his computer and I was like:

Mr. R. You are very loved and I'm sorry the company didn't have it in them to plan their decisions. I wish you a long and very happy life. I know you is sad but goddamn, as a senior set engineer, you're going to do so well. 

On Friday, I will buy beer and drink with sora (not her drinking, I mean I drink with her beside me) and then we are going to drink
