A girl, a high school girl, who bathed in sweats after done her dance session went to the shower room while a white towel perfectly wrapped around her slender body. At time like this, there just few students who were still on the school’s ground meanwhile the others already went back to their hostel or their own house. She twisted the tap and let the water flowed down from above her head and ran down on her hair, then to her white skin. She let out a relief sighed as the cold water in-touched against her skin.

She ran her finger into her brownish wet hair to let the water to get through ‘til it hit her scalp. She closed her eyes as she savoured the moment. The bright shower room suddenly went pitch black as a scream could be heard along the hallway. The girl quickly pulled her towel and sloppily wrapping around her body before go out from the shower room, to look what had happened. Even she’s at the verge of scared but she’s tried to appear brave and check out the whole situation.

She quietly twisted the door knob and peeked outside as her eyes widened in shocked. “Oh My God. What the hell is happening now?” She muttered under her breath as she looked around her in fearful showed in her doe eyes.

There was no any single light lighting the hallway and it is really pitch black. She couldn’t see anything and she just could move around with touched something in front of her for help. Even the moon, no. She slowly approached the window while her hands trying to seek for wall’s help. She shook her head with disbelief. She couldn’t believe with what she saw in front of her.

 

 

“This thing can’t be. No, it can’t be!”

 

 

 

 

A boy stood by the window while letting the cold wind entered the space, brushed off his face. The white thin curtain flew and slapped the window’s frame as the wind keep blowing roughly. He rested his back against the window while crossed his arm on his chest as his eyes wondering sorrowfully on the lying figure on a bed. Then, he threw his looks to outside from the space, stared into the dark night which doesn’t have any source of light even a bit to lighten up the place with a long sighed.

 

“It’s starting all over again.” He let out a single sighed again before staring on the lying figure in front of him.

 

A belle who unconsciously fell into her deep sleep moved her finger before open her round clear eyes. She drew her right hand up to her forehead and pinched it softly. Her head kept spinning and dizzy just before she fell into her sleep just now. She looked around her while her eyes slowly trying to adapt with the surrounding which doesn’t have any single light. Her hazel irises couldn’t focus and function properly because of non-existence of lights. But she swore that she saw a pair of shimmering eyes were watching her near the window.

 

“You’re awake?” A deep voice asked her across the room. Even though his voice at the minimum rate, but she could hear it clearly. Knowing who it was, she shut her eyelids once again, praying that it just a dream.

 

A doe eyed girl walked out from the shower room with trembling legs after she dressed herself with the shirts that she wore just now before taking a bath. She slowly dragged her leg with a careful step while her eyes wondering wildly around her. She hugged herself and tried to imagine her surrounding before it went to pitch black. Her bead of sweats started to form on her forehead.

 

 

‘krek. Krek.’

 

 

She felt adrenaline rush inside. She quickly turned her head around where the sound produced. It just a window.

She walked down the stairs and helped herself walked to the main lobby. There was no one anymore in the school and she’s surely mentally cursed herself for being so brave to stay up late there. She should going back to hostel right now. She crept a smile as walked out from the lobby, she’s finally could get out from this crazy place.

She looked up to the sky but the only thing that she could spot was a moon, a bloody red moon. “It’s getting crazy. Please, I just want to go out from here safely.” She whispered softly and placed a first step on the ground before she let out a long scream.

 

 

 

‘AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH’

 

 

 

 

 

In front of her were numerous numbers of students get killed. Their bodies sprawled on all over the place as their bloods were scattered anywhere, just like massacres happened there. She shook her head as her tears started to flow down on her cheeks, not wanting to believe her own eyes, what has she saw in front of her. This just too much.

 

“NO! NO! NO!”

 

She cried terribly as she plopped down on the cold hard ground, her strength was long time gone. She couldn’t take it anymore. She wants to go home.

 

 

Suddenly, a pair of hand covered her long thin cold lips and swiftly pulled her again inside the main lobby. She tried to scream and struggle but her strength was no longer there.

 

 

“Idiot, do you want to get kill?” A voice whispered closed to her right ear and she stopped from struggled, just her tears flowed down pitifully, wet the person’s hand.

 

He dragged her into an office or clearly stated as teacher’s room as he freed her from his tight grasp. She stared at the boy who saved her from getting ‘kill’. He sat on one of the chairs while ruffled his hair annoyingly and sighed.

 

“T-thank you, for, for saving me.” She bowed in front of him politely with her trembled body as the boy just shook his head.

 

“Naa, it’s okay. I don’t want to be a witness of murder again.” He stated with a smile, he does have a very charming smile as his eyes twinkling. She could see it even they’re in dark.

 

“I’m Luhan, third year student. How about you?” The boy stretched out his hand to the girl in front of him who wiped her eyes. She must be so scared with all of this. “Im- Im Yoona, third year from B Fraction.” She took his hand as the two began to shake their hands together. A pair of sincere smiles spread on their face.

 

“Well, we have to look out for my friend, he asked me to go there if anything happen.” Luhan stated while scratched his head awkwardly. Yoona looked at him with fear before slowly nodded her head, wants to follow him.

At least she would be safe from any harm if he is around. “To where?” She asked as the two walked out from the room, managed their way to the main hallway.

 

“Girls' hostel.” He turned around and gave her his charming smile once again.

 

 

 

 

“What are you doing here?” Her cold voice snapped him out, her words slit him up sharply. He stayed still on his place meanwhile the belle still laid down on her bed, didn’t bother to wake up or greets him.

 

“I’m taking care of y-”                  

 

“Cut that damn out and just get out from here.” She turned her head away, not wanting to look at the boy who stood by the window.

 

“I promised her to look after y-”

 

“SHUT UP!” Her chest began to wave, up and down in fast way. She’s enraged as she balled up her fist, red eyes and red face. “I’m repeating once again. GET OUT FROM MY ROOM!”

 

She roared once again just like a lioness. He still stared at her but this time his expression changed, he doesn’t believe that the belle in front of him changed this badly. She’s not the sweet girl anymore. But he still stood there instead of move away, he stared at red moon outside. The whole situation was in dark black mixed up with red light. The moon was sick.

 

“It has starts. We have to go.” He whispered and pulled his bag’s strap, getting ready but the belle still froze there.

 

“I said get out. Can’t you understand me once?” She looked at him, into his unwavering shimmering eyes. She was crying.

 

But, just before he could move, a hand stopping him from doing so. He was trapped against the window, as the glass started to crack. The impact itself was so strong. A hand choked his neck as her sharp long nails dug deep down into his flesh.

 

“Don’t I say get out? Don’t you get it? Do I need to repeat it again?” A smirk tugged on her pale lips.

 

She tightened her hand against his neck, waited for his answer. She stared at his sharp jawline but looked away with disgust feelings inside her. Kris didn’t budge to push her away or struggle to free himself. He just let her to do whatever she feels she wants too.

 

‘bum!’ “Kris!!”

 

But all she got was the door busted opened as two human ran into the room and tried to loosen her hand from choking him. The doe eyed man stood before her as he tried to pull away her hand from the tall lad’s neck but she didn’t budge. She stared at his face once again with her expressionless face.

Yoona gasped at the door frame, stood there like a plain doll because she doesn’t know how to help them. Luhan stared at the pale belle who slowly loosened up her grip. Her hands is cold just like ice and her eyes. Her eyes are big and beautiful but it doesn’t show any meaning. It was empty. Her nails painted in black. Her white satin nightgown flew softly when the wind brushed on them, together with her long black hair.

 

She let go her hand off before walking away from the two men and out from the space. “It was your fault back then, your fault right now and even in the future, it still your fault. It is forever your fault. For letting my sister died.” Her cold voice echoed inside the room even she’s gone to other room.

 

Luhan eyeing the tall lad who is wearing a guilty expression on his face. “Are you okay man?”

 

“I’m sorry, Lu, to have you watch all this.” Kris patted the shorter guy’s shoulder before let out a small smile plastered on his face. Then, he eyes the doe eyed girl who just leaned her back against the wall, still shocked with the event that happened earlier. Her doe eyes were bigger than usual while stared at Kris.

 

“Hi Im Yoona-ssi. Are you okay? Seems you don’t. Just forget what happened earlier, my fault anyway.” Kris raised up his hand on the air and waved it, to assure the girl that he is fine, no, he was fine. She just nodded her head, still scared with what happened just before her eyes.

 

“Huh, seems like you have seen it don’t cha? Don’t be scared, just face it, with us.” Kris’ shoulder slumped down as he walked away from the window, followed where the belle earlier went away.

 

“Kris, is-is that the girl that-that you taking care of? Is- is she Seo Joohyun? She- She seems not the one.” Luhan stopped Kris from went out from the room but the tall lad just gave him a reassuring smile. “It will be okay.”

 

 

 

 

 

The quadruplet found walked together down the hallway, walked out from the girls’ hostel, went back to the main building of the school. They didn’t meet anyone alive so far, they couldn’t make it alive. That’s what all of them thought. Kris and Luhan led the way while Yoona in the middle and Seohyun walked behind the three. She intentionally distance herself from all of them. She pulled her long coat tightly against her body, she’s so cold and she might catch a cold if this chilly weather continues wholly tonight till the morning come. It was better when she’s up there, in her room, under her comforter, on her fluffy mattress rather than following this three seniors wandering in the night. But she does knew it’s consequence if they stay there too long.

 

The atmosphere in the school started to choke them up when the air that they breathe in was polluted with dirty disgusted corpse smell. They want to search for those who are still alive, before they leave the place. After few hours of walking in the dark and cold, they stopped at the fourth floor of the top building and looked around the school area.

 

“Can- Can all of you tell me what had happened here? Why did they died? Who killed all of them?” Yoona stuttered as she glanced at the two men and didn’t dare to look at the belle who stood by the window while held the curtain.

She was looking down, where the massacre happened with her emotionless face. Luhan was sitting on a teacher’s table meanwhile Kris checked out the surrounding, walked to the window and to the door across the room.

 

“There’s someone here.” Seo Joohyun- the belle’s name spoke but her eyes didn’t budge from looking at those sprawled corpses alongside with their bloods smell.

 

The three seniors eyed her before Luhan and Yoona got up their asses up from seats and walking out to the next class. And as always the Seo Joohyun would walk behind them.

 

Kris slowly pushed the sliding door and shoved the torch lights inside the dark room. All four of them looked around the class before their ears caught some ‘disturbing’ sounds.

 

“I’m outta here.” Joohyun walked out from the room just before they could say anything. “Tsk that girl. Is she scared or what?” Luhan said while pouted but continued to search where the sounds come from.

 

“Hey! Lower down your lights dickies!” A voice of a boy made the three of them startled.

 

The three dropped down their jaws when their eyes caught the sight of something.

 

 

 

He is in the middle of making out.

 

 

A girl laid down on the table, seems lost in her own world. “Hey, we didn’t finish it yet babe.” The girl tugged his hand while her legs were spread widely, enough for three of them to look. The boy smirked and kissed the girl for the last time before zipping up his pants.

 

“I’m sorry girl but you’re not my taste.” He pulled out a gun before pointing it to her forehead. He pulled the trigger slowly as the girl on front of him whimpered in fear

 

“Stop!!” Luhan shouted at the top of his lung and tried to block him but he was too late.

 

‘BANG! BANG!’ The boy shot down the girl with a triumph smile. Her blood were all over his face but he didn’t mind.

 

“I’m sorry lady and gentlemen for my rude. I’m Zhang Yixing and my friend over there is Oh Sehun. Pleasure to meet all of you.” The boy called Zhang Yixing bowed down ninety degree and after that a boy appeared from the dark, without any smile on his face.

 

“Oh Sehun.”

 

Luhan and Yoona backed step and horror were written all over their faces. Kris was the only one who remained still at his place. It might the two who killed the students down there. Kris slipped his hand inside his back pocket before grabbing something.

 

“Damn, what took you so long to come out from there?”

 

Seo Joohyun opened the door harshly and walked casually towards all of them. She eyed the man called Zhang Yixing and Oh Sehun before turning around with a disgust look. “Animals. Retarded animals.” She whispered before pulling herself away from them. Zhang Yixing who heard her cursed swiftly aiming his gun behind her head.

 

“Try me then.”

“You’re so beautiful to be kill by me but I won’t be sorry to kill you because of your foul mouth, Seo.” Zhang Yixing dangerously spoke while the others started to distance themselves. Kris walked closer, to help her but Zhang Yixing aiming him too.

 

“Stay there Wu if you doesn’t want this thing get through your skull.”

 

“Shot him then.” She casually spoke as she turned around to look at the guy who are so dare to pick a fight against her. Luhan pulled Yoona out of the scene, out of the room, save themselves from getting any unwanted things happen to them. Luhan keep backing out without looking at his back.

He’s only stopped when he felt that his foot stepped on something mushy and slimy. He bowed down to look at it closer but he was fell on the ground with a loud thud.

 

 

 

‘AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!’

 

 

 

 

Yoona’s screamed made him alarmed with the situation. She was pointing at something while covered her face from looking at it.

 

 

A head.

 

 

A black head that have been chopped off from its body.

 

Luhan looked around and realize that the hallway that both of them sat on, scattered with flesh and blood of something. It is an animal in black or human in black and the tongue was stuck out from the mouth while its eyes budged out terribly.

 

She has killed it.

 

And he does acknowledges what was the situation that all of them were in. “We’re getting in it, finally.”

 

 

 

 

Yoona still crying while Seohyun sat on a chair straightly while stared up to the sick red moon. Her eyes shown meaningless since Luhan saw her for the first time. On the other hand Sehun, the quiet one was standing by the window and Kris was sitting somewhere in the room.

 

“YA! What are you staring for? Clean my cut quickly! If not it will get infected!” Zhang Yixing slapped Luhan’s arm and took away a plaster from him and shoved the torch light in his palm. He has disturbed him from staring the mysterious Seo Joohyun and the quiet one Oh Sehun.

 

“Hold this!” Zhang Yixing wore a plaster by himself instead of waited for Luhan who keep dreaming off.

 

“Yah you girl! Why you keep crying? It won’t turn back times.” Zhang Yixing pointed out his finger towards Yoona who wiped her tears away.

 

“I- I want to go home. I don’t like this place.” Yoona began to cry again after said that. She really missed her house and wondering what is her family doing right now.

 

“Don’t tell me… Oh my, you aren’t The Chosen, are you?” Zhang Yixing eyed her again with a dangerous looked spread upon his face.

 

“Cho- Chosen? What is that? I- I don’t know anything about that. I’m, I’m a new transferee here.” She explained while stuttered and began to choke with her own tears. Even Luhan or Kris didn’t tell her about that.

 

“I guess you picked a wrong school dear. We all, in here are The Chosen.” Zhang Yixing stated it proudly with a smirked that never leave his lips.

 

He slowly pointed all of them to her one by one slowly. Even Luhan, the one who she thought in a same boat as her, a victim, but she was wrong all these times. Luhan, the charming guy also part of them. No wonder why he still relax with what happened around them and he even didn’t bother to stop this Zhang Yixing boy and Seo Joohyun girl from fighting. He saved her just to cover their true selves, to cover all of them except her.

 

Because Luhan doesn’t know who the hell is Seo Joohyun coming from.
